I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better so you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.This bottle comes entirely encased in plastic. Not only do I see that as unnecessary, but painful to deal with when the arthritis is kicking in. The bottle comes a little more than half full.If used as directed it will last two months.The expiration date on mine is Dec 2026.The capsules have no real scent or taste, and are easy to swallow with water.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says 3rd-party tested, GMP-certified, and manufactured in the USA.I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. ProHealth not only puts their phone number on the bottle, but an international number as well. Their ProHealth site is both functional and informative. They not only have customer service, but they have a chat on their site with “longevity experts” who you can chat with about your supplement questions and needs. The bios of their medical advisors are also on the site. There is too much to list, you need to check out the site.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I am impressed by the company and am exited about this supplement. I like the absence of stearates and dioxides that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to. How much Ellagic Acid???
Pomegranate supplements have numerous purported benefits, one of the main benefits being estrogen control in men. The substance of interest in Pomegranate Extract is Ellagic Acid. This brand does not tell you whether the extract is standardized and/or how much Ellagic Acid is contained in a capsule. I’m currently using a different brand that gives you this information and is about 1/3 the cost per capsule. I glad to have the opportunity to evaluate this brand, but I think I’ll stick with my current brand.

Pomanox is a very well-researched pomegranate extract. Perhaps the best, in the opinion of many.The 500mg per capsule dose is not that far below the 650 mg dose that much of the research was done with. Providing a broad range of polyphenols and antioxidants from an established company with a good reputation, this is a beneficial addition to my wellness and anti-aging protocols.

Changed ingredients: no notice
Changed ingredients when I wasn’t looking. THis is why I don’t like auto subscribe. I purchased this to begin with because it had Pomella 500 mg and only 50 mg Pommegranite juice powder, plus the capsule. Then they changed to Pomanox, which is similar but “No Notice” of why or when they changed. I do not know if it is more cost effective or a better or poorer formulation, it is made in Spain instead of USA. Pomella® has extensive clinical backing regarding how well it converts in the gut into urolithins (beneficial gut-microbial metabolites that support cellular and mitochondrial health). Urolithin A is costly supplement that has had court litigation of ‘copy cat’ formulas, so Pomella is a more cost effective method to the same end.Now they add rice powder. I am trying to limit my carbs. I don’t need rice even if it is small addition as a flow agent to make it easier/cheaper to fill the capsules. If supplements had to follow the same rules as actual drugs, they would not have been allowed to change ingredients willy nilly. I am now suspect of all ProHealth supplements. Buyer Beware!
