More affordable NMN than the other ‘dark blue bottle’ version sold by ProHealth
Following is my honest review and personal opinion of this NMN supplement from the ProHealth Longevity Company. It arrived and had the usual tamper-evident safety seals. Opening the bottle there is no discernible scent BUT only the bottom third of the container is filled with 30 white powdered capsules. My one pet peeve is that if manufacturers used smaller bottles, they could pass the savings cost of less plastic onto us, the consumer! Anyway, a serving size of one capsule provides 300 mg of Nexergy NMN and this bottle should last 30 days. This is my first experience with Nexergy because all my other NMN products from ProHealth contain Uthever NMN, so I had to Google the difference. Uthever NMN (developed by EFFEPHARM) is a specific, widely recognized and trademarked ingredient backed by peer-reviewed human clinical trials, whereas Nexergy MMN (trademarked by ProHealth, so it is an in-house product) is a proprietary manufacturing process rather than a specific raw material brand. Also from my research, I basically just came to the conclusion that Nexergy is a much more affordable form of NMN, than the trademark Uthever NMN. Personally I take high dose, which means I take 3 of these capsules a day, so this bottle will last me 10 days. There’s no side effects like stomach upset or digestive issues or weird burps and the capsules don’t have any taste and go down easily with several swigs of water. I cannot speak to the effectiveness/extra energy yet because I’ve been taking NMN already for several months and generally feel great without afternoon tiredness or getting the slumps. Formulated and distributed by ProHealth out of California (Made in the USA) and it is 3rd party tested, GMP certified and has a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. They also put an 800 phone number on the back of the label. I really like the Prohealth company an am sure this product will live up to its claims! Currently on sale for under $14, I think this is well worth it and hope in time (if I continue to feel great), I will stay with Prohealth, but switch to the Nexergy version of NMN from the more costly Uthever NMN version, as this is much more affordable!!

NMN 300mg capsules
ProHealth Longevity Essentials NMN 300 arrived in a tamper resistant opaque plastic bottle with a child-resistant cap. The mid-sized non-vegan capsules have no adverse smell nor aftertaste. It provides a 10-30-day supply of NMN at the manufacturers suggested dose of 1-3 capsules per day at a cost of $0.66 – $2.00 per day; seems a bit expensive for my taste in this particular supplement. Expiration date is nearly 2 years from date of arrival.That said, I cannot testify to an increase in energy or slowed cellular decline as indications of its effectiveness YMMV. As a company, ProHealth provides more than adequate documentation of its product and production standards and I have and would continue to purchase from this company.

High quality, 3rd party tested NMN
This is a good basic NMN supplement from a brand I trust. Each capsule provides 300 mg of Nexergy NMN, with a very simple formula and only rice flour added. ProHealth also does third-party testing and publishes testing data, which is especially important to me with NMN.The 300 mg dose is on the lower side compared with what I typically look for, but it is still a reasonable amount and you can take more than one capsule if you want a higher daily dose. I also like that it only requires one capsule for the basic serving.Nexergy does not have the same level of human research behind it as some branded NMN ingredients like Uthever, so I would still give the edge to those if everything else were equal. That said, ProHealth has a strong reputation in the longevity supplement space, which gives me more confidence in the purity and quality here than I would have with a random high-dose NMN product.Overall, this is a solid NMN option with good testing and a simple formula. The dose is a little lower than I prefer and Nexergy is less established than some alternatives, but I would still choose this over many higher-dose products from less reputable brands.

I’ve tried supplementing the NAD+ pathway every conceivable way now, and I’ve used many ProHealth NAD+ pathway products with great luck. That’s how I came to try its newest NAD+ pathway supplement: a trademarked NMN version called Nexergy. ProHealth tells you this version is used in academic longevity research, which (translation) means it’s not the format that underwent rigorous human clinical trials. The benefit is they can offer Nexergy at a lower price point; the downside is you’re not using the exact form that was trialed in humans (=$$). You can decide whether the benefit outweighs the downside, but I’ll add that not every supplement has been put through human clinical trials. Also it’s about 30% cheaper than the NMN Pro form (the clinical trialed-type).So this came double-sealed, with a little under two years of expiration left. It’s cGMP produced, made in the US, third party tested, and they post the testing data. The capsules have no smell or taste and are very clean (only rice filler).I received a full suite of Nexergy to try. I’m oddly super responsive to NAD+ pathway supplementation and usually within two hours I feel a difference. 300mg NMN is the lowest Nexergy dose, and in the past I could feel the difference of taking 300mg of NAD+ itself (which I realize sounds bogus because only a small portion of NAD+ is even absorbed, but it’s true), so I presumed I’d feel this one much more. Surprisingly, not so much! In hindsight, I guess I was comparing apples to oranges. For the sake of reviewing, instead of continuing to take 300mg/day, after two days I moved on to higher doses to see if Nexergy would do anything for me at all (answer below). In the meantime, my take home msg with this review is that if you’ve tried NAD+ pathway supplementation before, be careful, just because you respond to x mgs of one NAD pathway supplement, don’t assume you’ll respond to the same dose of NMN to get the equal effect.Finishing the story: Nexergy DEFINITELY works – 1000mg Nexergy had my heart & energy levels racing within 1.5 hours!! Now that I can say it works for sure I’ll go backwards to test whether daily doses of 300 mg will cumulatively work for me over time.

Though it’s been around a while NMN research is still relatively new. This supplement is supposed to improve physical endurance and metabolic health by boosting NAD+ concentration in the blood. There has been some recent debate about how exactly the NMN converts into NAD+ with some studies suggesting much of it turns into ordinary vitamin B3. This means it may be cheaper to just take B3 to begin with to get the same effect.I’ve recently starting taking this small supply of ProHealth NMN to try it out. The idea is to boost your NAD+, an enzyme critical for cellular energy that declines with age. I can’t say it’s the fountain of youth, but I seem to be a bit more refreshed in the morning. Now that I’m in my 50s, that’s definitely a good thing. It comes in an easy to swallow capsule form and I haven’t noticed any side effects. Long term studies haven’t been done so you may want to be cautious if you plan on using it more than a few weeks.If you’re looking for good value in you supplement purchases you may want to stick to the tried and true varieties first.

But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies and some of the lowest. So I try to give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better, so you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.This bottle comes about 25% full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. I would prefer they put in more capsules and/or use a smaller bottle.If used as directed it will last one month.The expiration date on mine is Mar 2028.The capsules have almost no scent or taste. They are easy to swallow with water.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says 3rd-party tested, GMP-certified, and packaged and lab tested in the USA.I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. ProHealth puts their phone number on the bottle as well as an international number. The product information page says they have been operating since 1988 and has a Certificate of Analysis in the pictures. Their ProHealth site is both functional and informative. They not only have customer service, but a chat feature on their site with “longevity experts” who you can chat with about your supplement questions and needs. The bios of their medical advisors are also on the site. There is too much to list, you need to check out the site.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement but like the absence of many fillers and flow agents which many companies say they need to use, while the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

This form is Nexergy, which does not have the clinical trial backing of the form used in their Pro version, but may be a good place to start if you are new to NAD boosting supplements. It is reportedly more easily absorbed than other forms. You could alow alternate this formula with the more clinically studied expensive form so you are getting the benefits at a lower cost than the premium formula every day.The pills are medium sized, easy to take, with no odor or taste.It’s hard to quantify changes in the short term on an individual basis, especially with this type of supplement which I consider to be a long-term health optimizer. But based on the above information about the company I have a lot of confidence in the safety and purity of this supplement, and hope it will be an added partner in my health and longevity journey.

As I am approaching 50-years old, I have become a longevity enthusiast and have used ProHealth’s premium Uthever NMN and NMNH formulations in the past. This is my first time trying the Nexergy variant of NMN and currently taking capsule form at a dosage of 1000mg in the morning each day.“Essentials” is Pro-Health’s newer budget-friendly line and uses a version of NMN which, while not studied in as much detail as the Uthever variant, should have similar results. The Essentials line NMN underlying product is identical across their 300mg, 500mg, and pure powder formulations, which I will be moving to next. Because only the delivery and packaging change, this review serves as an evaluation for all of them.After a few weeks, the results are satisfactory from switching between the Uthever derived line to the Nexergy product. I have noticed no decline in my afternoon energy levels and workout recovery times feel the same. While their premium line uses a crystalline structure and enteric coatings, this version utilizes standard fast dissolution, yet the physiological differences feel negligible to me.The primary advantage here is cost.
