I’m happy to add ginseng to my daily supplement routine—especially after reading about all its benefits. There is a strong smell of ginseng when you unseal the bottle, which gives me confidence that it really is ginseng in the capsules. 😉 Not difficult to swallow, and there is no aftertaste or side effects thus far. As with any supplements, be sure to check with your doctor to make sure these are right for you.

Top quality at an affordable price
Supplements help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food, and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help get to know the company and the product better, to help you determine for yourself if you want to try this one out or not.This bottle comes less than half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. If used as directed it will last one month. I would prefer they put more capsules in and/or use a smaller bottle.The capsules have a plant-y scent and taste to them, and they are easy to swallow with water.I like my supplement bottles to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and Made in USA. PRL’s bottles have more information on them than most regarding testing and quality, including non-GMO, 3rd-party tested, and manufactured by Premier Research Labs, which is in the USA. Some of the ingredients are also organic.I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. Premier Research Labs is one of the supplement companies I trust above all others. From the quality of their ingredients, to not using fillers (stearates, dioxides, etc.), to their testing, and beyond, it’s one of the very few companies I have full confidence in.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I like the quality ingredients, including the lack of fillers that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to. Ginseng in capsule form
I prefer ginseng in capsule or tablet form since liquid versions have had a bad taste for me. These capsules do not have any noticeable flavor or even odor to me, contrary to what other reviewers have noted. I take ginseng periodically for its adaptogenic health benefits. Please do your own research when considering if this or other supplements are right for you. These capsules are easy to swallow with liquid and I have not experienced any digestive issues from them. The bottle was sealed internally and externally to indicate no tampering occurred after packaging and to preserve freshness.

This American Ginseng supplement came in a well packaged and labelled container, double sealed for safety.While different than the Asian style ginseng (Red Panax) I feel it still delivers as far as quality alongside it’s intended benefits. I find this to be quite good at the recommended dosing, though it might have been a little much for me, so I might stick with half for now. I am stoked to have this product on hand as it helps me so much in the sense of being a supplement to my nutritional well-being. I enjoy this as a natural alternative to other prescription based products, as it’s quite effective for me.I appreciate the testing done on this product for purity and they don’t irradiate the product destroying the natural compounds in the ginseng.Overall this is a great quality option for those seeking to get ginseng in their supplemental regimine.I also love the fact that these contain only ginseng and no other bloated additives or fillers, besides the gel capsule.Well worth the price… Great value!

Great quality, completely vegetarian
This is something like the fifth product from Premier Research Labs I’ve reviewed. I’ve always been highly impressed with the way the company does things. With one exception (their magnesium glycinate), I’ve been equally impressed with the quality of the product.I’m happy to say their American ginseng is another winner. The quality of manufacture, packaging, and ingredients are all up to my high expectations. It’s encapsulated in vegetarian hypromellose, non-GMO, and manufactured in a GMP-certified facility with third-party testing, and at this point I trust the company’s stated commitment to ingredient hygiene. It doesn’t hurt that this company is a US-based small business, and that you’re supporting local manufacturing jobs by buying from them.Pricing is admittedly comparatively high at nearly $20 before any discounts. At least you’re paying for quality. This is the only sticking point for an otherwise great product.

Capsule form ginseng.
The bottle contains 60 ginseng capsules. These capsules are ginseng roots ground into powder form and put into a capsule. One capsule is 900 mg of ginseng. Taking ginseng promotes energy and a whole host of benefits – boost immune system, reduces cholesterol, reduces inflammation, lower blood sugar, etc. Dosage is 2 capsules a day. Capsules are reasonably easy to swallow. As with all health supplements it takes time to experience any effects. I will continue to take these and hope they contribute to my health.

Premier Research Labs “American Ginseng Supplement” caught my eye since I have been experimenting with various ginseng supplements. If you did not already know this, American ginseng is different than Korean ginseng. Apparently, it is reported that the two different ginsengs produce noticeably different effects. Please do your own research before trying this supplement out.The bottled arrived in excellent condition with the tamper proof seal still intact.The bottle boast a wide variety of claims regarding the quality of this product, a few are: ecologically cultivated, 3rd party tested, not fumigated, not irradiated. Along with claiming to screen for: botanical adulterants, microbial pathogens, aflatoxins, and heavy metals.I cannot comment on the supplements health benefits, but please do your own research to decide if this American Ginseng Extract Supplement is right for you.I am excited to incorporate this into my weekly supplement rotation!
