1. DO NOT take if you’re a caffeine addict. Wean off most of the caffeine FIRST. Otherwise you might experience not so pleasant anxiety or rapid heartbeat.Aside from that, I love this product. It seriously does give you the stamina of an Olympian in the gym. As opposed to doing 20 mins on the elliptical, you’ll do an hour or more. That’s the type of subtle energy it provides. Its not a hopped-up, wired feeling. You actually won’t notice a ‘feeling’ at all, but instead, just be able to do more! It supposedly supports cardiovascular and kidney function, but make sure to do your research and check with your doctor first. Really great add-on with my reishi and coptis!

I love the products in the Planetary Herbals line. Michael Tierra knows what he is doing in creating his versions of traditional Chinese TCM formulas and Ayurveda wellness remedies. You can count on their quality and efficacy. He understands the importance of full spectrum, as well. For me, his Cordyceps 450 delivers a foundational, calm energy that is not obtainable via traditional stimulants. As someone who can’t tolerate caffeine or other such “pick me up” substances, the effect I get from this product is remarkable. It took a week of taking 2 pills daily (empty stomach) for me to detect that I had noticeably more sustained focus, stamina, and energy when undertaking both mental and physical tasks. I always start with a small dose and work my way up if needed. If this is simply a placebo effect, I’ll take it. Cordyceps 450 is a keeper!
