Tasty drink mix that is a nice addition to my daily routine.
I ordered this Piping Rock powdered drink mix, as it contains some ingredients as magnesium citrate, glycinate and calcium.The powder came with 16oz, and in a convenient tub. I appreciate that this product was sealed on the inside, which is very important to me when trying things like this. The lid is easy to use, and can be removed and placed back on easily.The directions and information are easy for me to read and understand, which I appreciate. The serving size says is 3 teaspoons; this does not come with a measuring scoop, so I used one that I already have that amounts to 3 teaspoons.Following the directions, I first mix 2 to 3 teaspoons (about 4 to 7.5 g) of the powder into 2-3 oz of hot water. I then let it fizz, stir powder until dissolved, and then fill the rest of my cup with warm or cold water. It does fizz a lot at first, so I’ve learned to let it settle a bit, before adding more water.I like the Raspberry Lemon flavor of this drink mix, and find it to be refreshing and pleasant. I do not notice any aftertaste, and I can drink this mix well.This drink mix has been a nice addition to my routine, and I mainly use it at night before bed. I do feel that it has been helpful for me to relax and unwind after a long day, and I like the results I’ve seen thus far.I think this is a great quality product, and I’m satisfied with it so far. I like that I can get several servings out of this drink mix, and that it will probably last me a while. I also think that this is a nice value for the price point, in my personal opinion (currently listed at around $22.69 at the time of this review). I’m pleased with this product, and am glad I ordered it.

I’ve gone through a lot of magnesium powders over the years, and this one has turned out to be one of the easiest to stick with. The raspberry lemon flavor leans more toward lemon, which I actually enjoy because it gives the drink a clean, bright taste.Instructions are easy to follow; simply place three teaspoons into hot water and treat it like a cozy tea. It does bubble up quite a bit at first, so letting it sit for a moment helps the fizz settle down. After that, it becomes a smooth, lightly flavored lemon drink. Sometimes I add a little ice to get a fresh tea.One thing I really appreciate is the blend of magnesium citrate and magnesium glycinate. Getting both forms in one mix feels like a bonus, and the added calcium is a nice touch. Each serving contains 320 mg of magnesium, which falls within the range I prefer for daily supplementation. That lemon taste is amazing!
I’ve always paid good attention to keeping my body well. Now at 67, I pay somewhat closer attention and when I saw this supplement, I was intrigued. With some research, I found this to be a good thing to add to my daily routine.I followed the directions – 3 tsps. and add hot water, let it fizz down, then drink it cold or hot. I prefer cold. Drinking water in the morning is one of the best things you can do for your body, so this provides a reason to add into the routine.I’m impressed with the consistency of the powder. It’s like confectioner’s sugar. So if that’s a good way to subconsciously convince me to drink it, I’ll take it! I think that’s why the powder dissolves so well. On the first sip, it’s a pretty strong tang that kind of smacks your taste buds into quick attention. But I like that flavor, especially the lemon (which is stronger than the raspberry), and I drank it right down. I will have zero trouble adding this into my vitamin regimen, which is currently lacking in magnesium. I mean, I love a good cashew (or 50) but if I can get this great taste and am drinking more water to boot, what’s not to like?This brand is fairly popular and you get a pretty good-sized container of it. I think at once a day it will likely last awhile. I haven’t taken it long enough to speak to the efficacy of sleep, but I can tell you it tastes great and if your doctor says you need it, you’ll be happily surprised at the taste. It’s good!

Great Magnesium Blend and Tastes Good Too
I really like the raspberry lemon flavor of this. It’s pleasant without being overpowering, and the powder dissolves easily in water. One of the main reasons this formula caught my attention is that it includes magnesium glycinate along with citrate. So many powdered magnesium products seem to rely mostly on citrate, so I appreciate getting both forms plus calcium in one drink mix.I also like the tall, narrow container – it takes up less space in my already crowded, supplement cupboard! The price seems pretty average compared to similar products.A couple of small negatives: there’s no scoop included, so you’ll need your own measuring spoon, and I do wish they used something other than “natural flavors.” Otherwise, I’m very happy with it and think it’s a great overall magnesium blend.

Taste is bad
I was disappointed in the flavor. It tasted too lemony and a little chalky. I would have returned it, but sealed supplement are not returnable. I liked the message/benefits mentioned on the bottle, but if the taste is off-putting, it is of no value.

Great product with even better taste
Really like the raspberry lemon flavor of this magnesium supplement. It tastes like artificial (in a good way) lemonade with a bit of raspberry taste. The aftertaste is slightly sweet and no funny aftertaste.It mixes decent in plain room temperature water, and adding ice makes it a refreshing mid-afternoon or evening drink to wind down the day. Just needs a little more time to completely dissolve because the instructions indicate using hot water. I thought it was interesting that it foams up, but maybe it is the magnesium content. I’m not sure exactly.I’ve been taking the single serving size (3 Teaspoons) and have had no unusual symptoms or discomfort. I’ve felt relaxed and it really seems to help with a longer duration of sleep without waking up.The container is tall with a medium opening with a tight fitting lid that should keep the contents dry. My experience with tall containers is that it will be annoying when getting to the bottom half because my hands will be covered in powder. Wished they included a scoop for measuring serving size. A long handled scoop would be perfect. Ahem, attention Piping Rock!Overall, this is a good product. The benefits of two types of popular magnseium, added vitamins, calcium, and potassium. A great price point from a reputable brand.

This arrived at our house and the first person to try it didn’t pay attention to the flavor description and dumped it into some iced coffee. Do not recommend doing that, yuck. On the other hand, it tastes just fine on its own in water and also blends well with another sour apple supplement that we have. A sort of fruit punch. Dissolves well and is quite effervescent. A far better way to supplement magnesium than taking large pills.

I’ve tried quite a few magnesium powders over the years, and this one has been easy to add to my daily routine. The raspberry lemon flavor is pleasant, although I definitely taste more lemon than raspberry, which I actually prefer.I’ve been mixing about 3 teaspoons into hot water and drinking it like a tea. One thing to be aware of is that it fizzes quite a bit at first, so it’s best to let it settle for a minute before drinking. Once the fizz is gone, it makes a nice warm beverage with a light lemon flavor. I used a scoop I had laying around so am using that instead of measuring it out everyday.What caught my attention was that it contains both magnesium citrate and magnesium glycinate.
