Helps with sleep & recovery after drinking
Love this product. As a 40+ year old, I have more than 2-3 drinks these days it really crushes my next day. But a couple of these pills while drinking helps me get good sleep and wake up recharged. Small bottle is easy to pack around and the dosage instructions are straightforward and easy to remember. I keep this handy for happy hours, company functions, concerts, etc… I think my liver is grateful and I don’t feel guilty having a couple drinks on a weeknight anymore.

Hangovers Now Optional
Woke up after a night of questionable decisions expecting the usual hangover apocalypse, surprisingly though, I felt pretty normal. Took this before and after drinking, and it seriously took the edge off the headache, nausea, and regret. It didn’t erase every bad choice, but I actually woke up functional instead of glued to my pillow in despair. Hydration still matters, but this definitely gives you a fighting chance.

I took this during a wedding reception and gave some to family members who were also drinking. None of us were too excessive with our drinking but would say this helped because everyone was up and ready for breakfast by 8:30 the next morning. I gave it three stars because there is no information about the company. There is no indication that they use a GMP certified facility or third party testing.

No instructions on how many you can take in a 24 hour period
So this says to take 1 pill for each alcoholic drink you have, but does not say how many you can/should take in a 24 hour period which is a bit concerning for me. It also says you can take while drinking or after, I took after drinking when I got home and I took 3 of them (although I probably had 6 drinks throughout the night, but taking 6 pills seemed excessive), I did notice feeling slightly better than normal the next day, but still felt the effects of drinking the night before. Maybe if there were statements saying how many you can take and I took more it would have worked better, or maybe for a night where you are just having a drink with a friend and only need to take 1, this would work well, but if you are celebrating and drinking for several hours with several drinks, I am not sure this is the product I would choose.

I’ve had better DHM
I discovered DHM years ago back when it was still difficult to source in the US. Especially as you get older, it significantly helps with hangovers. Just do the research. DHM isn’t snake oil, it legitimately helps your body breakdown the toxins produced on your body from drinking alcohol.Having all that said, I’ll be sticking with my normal brand. Actually, there are two I go back and forth between depending on availability and price. The biggest issue I have with these is that they don’t seem to be processed by my body as quickly. They’re definitely real DHM, as they have that DHM taste (I know what I’m talking about here), but I’m used to powder stuffed into a capsule. I think the difference is the caps take affect quicker. If you take at the very end of the evening, these don’t seem to work as well. The other thing about DHM it will help take the edge off if you’d had too much to drink. I used to rely on these when hanging out with clients in my sales days. If I had a bit too much to drink during the evening, I could pop a DHM and it would reduce the intoxication feeling. These don’t seem to work as well in that aspect.Overall, this is legit DHM, but I just don’t think it works quite as well or as quickly as the brands I’ve used in the past. For price isn’t bad, so there’s that, but I don’t think I’ll be picking up more.

You are supposed to take one per drink, so be prepared to carry this with you. I think it would work better if you have a normal night of drinking, not a bender, as it didn’t really work for me, sadly. There is no information on where this company is from or where this product is manufactured. It came with the appropriate safety sealing, so that is good. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4

Like this for my Liver
I got this because Dihydromyricetin is an ingredient that I like for possible benefits it may have with my liver. It’s actually a new ingredient for me that I have been aware of for only a few years. I include it in my regimen every now and then and the only reason I don’t take it consistently is due to it being a bit pricey imo. With the studies I have seen on it personally it very much reminds me of Schisandra in some ways with the way it may possibly interact with the liver. It’s also my opinion that the studies on this ingredient are limited. There is speculation that possible benefits may go beyond the liver with possible associations with mood, lipid metabolism and immunity as well. I like a bit more dosage than what this product offers but realize they have made it a way to correlate with a per drink amount that’s easy to remember. I personally take this for possible benefits whether I have consumed alcohol or not. The other ingredient in this which I do take daily is Milk thistle extract for the possible Silymarin in it. It too is thought to possibly be beneficial for the Liver. When I take these ingredients I don’t notice anything and just hope behind the scenes good things are happening for my liver. I had recent lab test and my liver enzymes showed to be very healthy which I am all smiles about and would like to think my supplements may have helped with that. I did not see where this was third party lab tested but I personally don’t recall ever seeing Dihydromyricetin that was. These tablets were easy to take and I had no sides. I do find that after a night out any legitimate liver supplement I take correlates with a better morning for me but this Dihydromyricetin does very well for me personally imo.
