Great tasting stevia
The stevia comes in a plastic bottle with an aluminum seal. Weirdly enough for me, when first opening, there was powder inside the cap above the seal, so I am not sure if this leaked out of the bottle somehow or when sealing they had extra stevia just come on top of it too or inside the cap for some reason. I don’t think it leaked though since everything was sealed. The stevia bottle does not come with any sort of measuring device.I am experienced with stevia, so when tasting alone it tastes exactly like it should with some sweetness. A little bit goes a long with with stevia, unlike sugar. I like that stevia is all natural, only needs a little bit, 0 calories, and tastes good.I usually just keep a 1/8 teaspoonful spoon in my stevia container for easy measuring.I use it consistently with my coffee doing 1/8 teaspoonful for about 14 oz along with some creamer. This makes it a little bit sweet, not cloyingly at all.The product is good as expected and consistent in its quality.

I don’t have a measuring spoon that tiny so I just used the tip of a spoon (see my photos) and that was too much. Think of the amount that comes out of a pink or blue packet when you get sweetener for iced tea or coffee at a restaurant. Since those photos I have been following their advice and starting with a very tiny amount and then adding more to get it right. That works for beverages but not for cooking. I wish it came with instructions for baking.🟢 PROS:* very sweet — equivalent flavor to other non-sugar sweeteners* perfect for preparing sweet beverages, especially when you want to avoid sugar and other high-calorie sweeteners🔴 CONS:* hard to measure because it’s super concentrated* clumps a bit when I first start stirring it in — but it does dissipate reasonably fast after a 10-12 seconds of stirring* mine wasn’t sealed properly so some was wasted upon unboxingEarns 5 stars because the actual sweetener is terrific and calorie-free. Great sugar alternative that goes a long way
I am trying to lose weight and reducing sugar is the most difficult aspect of calorie reduction for me. I had some monkfruit drops and sugar free flavoring that I use for my coffee but thought I should have a powder form for other applications. This container looked small to me at first BUT it turns out that stevia is VERY SWEET and a little goes an extremely long way. I ended up with some extraordinarily sweet iced tea because I neglected to read the label which warns you that it is 200-300 times sweeter than sugar. So this bottle is like a life time supply, ha. It has a good flavor, it’s a very close mimic to sugar and the aftertaste is minimal. The powder is very fine so it dissolves quickly/easily in liquids and will mix in well to baked goods. Considering the tiny amount needed, this is a really good value.

I am excited about using this Stevia, perhaps in my coffee, in the morning. We try to limit the amount of sugar we have so, although I really prefer my coffee sweetened, I only put sugar in it once or so a week. I notice that you use far less Stevia than you use sugar, which is good since the cost is so much higher. It may not cost more preserving but it will take a bit before I figure that out. Just to be clear, the sugar we have is also organic so it is more expensive than the generic sugar.Just a suggestion, since the amount of Stevia needs to be far less than whatever sugar is used, I am unsure as to how to measure it. I would like a really tiny little spoon so I can be sure about how much I am using. To that end, it would be great if this container of Stevia came with an option to buy a tiny stainless-steel spoon. I am going to see what I have that I can use for consistent tiny measuring.

I have tried stevia before but was put off by the bitter aftertaste. I decided to give it another try and I must say I am pleasantly surprised with this product. This is an 8.8 ounce container with over 5000 servings. The powder is very fine and dissolves easily. I am amazed at how little is needed to add sweetness . I use it in my morning coffee and the recommended starter amount is just 1/32 of a teaspoon. This product is extremely sweet so you need to adjust the amounts to fit your level of sweetness. This product is pure stevia extract and has no Maltodextrin or Dextrose and is Non-GMO. This is a great product. I think I will also experiment with using it in baked goods. I highly recommend.
