Love me some Elderberry!
I’ve been keeping this Elderberry Immune Elixir in my cabinet for about a month now, and it has easily become a daily ritual for our household. I wanted a high-quality elderberry supplement to support my immune defenses and respiratory health through the changing seasons, and this one delivers on quality. What really drew me to Organic Olivia’s version is the concentration. A single serving packs a massive 6,400mg of fresh elderberry—which is way more potent than a lot of the watered-down gummies or cheap syrups you find at the grocery store. It gives you a heavy-duty dose of natural antioxidants and polyphenols right when you need it most. A few things that really stand out after using it: No Added Sugar. Most elderberry syrups are loaded with honey, agave, or straight-up sugar. This formula uses a vegetable glycerin base. It keeps the sugar content to a minimum while still acting as a natural preservative, which is exactly what I wanted. Great Taste: Despite having no added sugar, it actually tastes amazing. It has a rich, deep berry flavor that isn’t overly cloying or artificial. It’s safe and tasty enough for both kids and adults. Easy to Thin Out: The liquid is quite concentrated, so I love mixing my daily spoonful into warm water like a comforting tea, or just splashing it into a morning smoothie. It blends instantly. Premium Quality Control: You can tell this isn’t a mass-produced, corner-cutting product. The dark glass bottle preserves the herbs beautifully, the cap doesn’t get stuck or crusty, and the liquid feels very pure and cleanly extracted. I started taking a dose whenever I felt a tiny tickle in my throat or after a long weekend of travel, and it has kept me feeling strong and resilient. It’s a fantastic, clean, whole-family staple for the wellness cabinet. Highly recommend!

High quality supplement, no complaints
I’m a big fan of home remedies and natural therapy options, so I’ve tried my fair share of supplements over the years. This one stands out.Seems to be a very high quality supplement. The ingredients are clean, the liquid formula absorbs easily, and the elderberry base is a nice addition to my daily routine. I’ve been taking it regularly and it’s become one of those staples I reach for without thinking. The bottle is a good size for the price and the quality shows compared to some of the cheaper stuff I’ve tried in the past. If you’re into natural wellness products and looking for a solid elderberry supplement, this is worth a shot.

Good taste, Bottle could use a spout
I had a sore throat when I received this elderberry syrup, and although it didn’t seem to do a lot of heavy lifting, the taste is generally agreeable and I feel like it did something. I wish the bottle had a spout though, because I spilled some pouring it into a spoon.

Pleasant Taste and Easy to Take
I chose the Organic Olivia Elderberry Immune Elixir because I was looking for a liquid herbal supplement that would be easy to incorporate into my daily routine. I appreciate that it’s made with herbal ingredients and comes in a convenient liquid form. The flavor was much better than I expected, making it easy to take on its own or mixed into a small amount of water if preferred. The dropper makes measuring a serving simple and helps avoid spills. The bottle feels well made, and the instructions are easy to follow. I also like that a liquid formula can be a good alternative for those who prefer not to swallow capsules. As with any herbal supplement, individual experiences may vary, and I think it’s important to use it consistently as directed. If you’re looking for a liquid elderberry supplement that’s easy to take and made with quality herbal ingredients, this is a nice option to consider.

Tasty elderberry syrup!
We like keeping elderberry syrup around for immune support, especially once cold season rolls around. This one tastes really good! It’s berry-forward and pleasantly sweet without having that overly medicinal herbal taste some elderberry products have. We’re still in the middle of summer, so I can’t really judge its effectiveness during peak cold and flu season yet. We’ve been taking it as general immune support and haven’t had any issues with it, but fall and winter will be the real test.At $28 for 4 ounces, it’s a little more expensive than the elderberry syrup we normally buy at our local health food store. I like the taste and ingredients, though, and I’m interested to see how it does for us once everyone starts passing around the winter yuckies.

Excellent organic elderberry product with no added sugars!
I am a longtime member of the elderberry fan club. If elderberries had tiny membership cards and held meetings in the forest, I would probably be treasurer. I love natural, food-based supplements and am always looking for ways to support my immune system, especially during cold and flu season. Elderberry has been one of my favorite things to reach for over the years whenever I begin feeling run-down or sense that an unwelcome microscopic houseguest may be attempting to move in.This formula immediately appealed to me because the ingredient list is exceptionally simple: organic elderberry fruit, vegetable glycerin, and deionized water. There is no added cane sugar, honey, agave, artificial sweetener, or long parade of mystery ingredients. Each 2-teaspoon serving provides the equivalent of 6,400 mg of organic Sambucus nigra elderberry fruit. Elderberries naturally contain dark purple anthocyanins and other antioxidant polyphenols that may support healthy immune function. Some research suggests elderberry may help reduce the severity or duration of certain cold, flu, and upper-respiratory symptoms, although it should not be viewed as a guaranteed illness preventer or a replacement for medical care.I also appreciate that Organic Olivia appears to take quality and transparency seriously. The company states that its formulas are produced according to Good Manufacturing Practices and that every batch is independently tested for contaminants including heavy metals, microbes, and pesticides. Even better, customers can look up testing information by lot number rather than simply being handed the vague supplement-company classic, “Trust us, it’s tested somewhere by somebody.” The company’s mission statement is hidden beneath a peel-back section of the label, and I enjoyed reading about its focus on herbal education, self-care, and helping people better understand their bodies. The bottle itself is excellent. It is made of dark amber glass, which helps protect the elderberry’s light-sensitive plant compounds, and mine arrived with a very tight tamper-evident seal. This bottle was so securely sealed that I am reasonably confident the elderberry had been placed under maximum-security protection. Nothing suspicious was getting in, and the elderberry was definitely not getting out without my authorization. Now for the flavor plot twist: I normally love the taste of elderberry, but this particular elixir was more bitter than I expected. It was tolerable, but it had a concentrated herbal-fruit bitterness and caused a slight burning or scratchy sensation in my throat. The lack of added sugary syrups may be part of why the natural elderberry flavor comes through so strongly. My preferred method is to swallow the serving promptly and follow it with plenty of water rather than holding a lengthy tasting ceremony and asking the elderberry about its flavor notes. One important measurement detail is that the regular serving is 2 teaspoons, or 10 mL—not 2 tablespoons. I initially photographed larger amounts for visual reference and quickly discovered that two tablespoons is a surprisingly ambitious elderberry swimming pool. The proper 10 mL serving is much more manageable. The label says it may be taken more frequently when needed, but each individual serving remains two teaspoons. As someone with type one diabetes, I also appreciate knowing that the labeled serving contains 6 grams of carbohydrate so I can account for it appropriately.Although the bottle says it is suitable for daily use, I personally do not think I would enjoy swallowing this flavor every day. For me, this is more of an “the first sniffle has entered the building—release the elderberry!” product. I like having it available during cold and flu season, while traveling, or whenever I begin feeling under the weather. Elderberry has helped me through many unpleasant cold viruses over the years, so it has earned a permanent place in my natural wellness cabinet.Overall, I appreciate the organic elderberry, extremely clean ingredient list, concentrated formula, dark protective glass bottle, secure packaging, and the company’s commitment to accessible batch testing. The flavor is more bitter and intense than my usual elderberry products, so this is not exactly a tiny glass of berry dessert, but I would rather have a potent, unsweetened herbal formula than one disguised as candy with a mountain of added sugar. I will keep this one on standby for immune-support emergencies—because when the sniffles knock, I prefer to answer the door holding elderberry and looking prepared.

Elderberry immune elixir syrup
This is a 4 ounce sized bottle of an organic elderberry elixir syrup. The formula is simple, which is appreciated with only some glycerin to help sweeten it. When comparing to other products, I would definitely keep the serving size in mind as this one has quite a generous serving size and can be taken up to 4 times a day (which would only have this bottle last about 3 days when sickness is approaching.)The flavor is nice, but I do wish the bottle had a dropper as most other similar products I’ve purchased in the past. I usually just take this as is, but it would mix easily into sparking water, water or tea.

High Quality Simple Ingredients
Taking Olivia’s Elderberry Immune Elixir is a real pleasant experience. What stands out most is the flavor profile. No artificial, excessive sweetness often found in OTC cough syrups. Instead, it has a tart berry taste that makes it easy to take on its own or to stir into tea, which I really like as someone who avoids stevia and other alternative sweeteners. However, the bottle design lacks a dropper or a measured pour spout, which makes measuring the recommended dosage into a spoon somewhat messy and inconvenient. Also the packaging does not clearly disclose the country of origin for the elderberries. Also, because the daily dose can range from two to four teaspoons depending on your needs, the bottle provides a minimal supply. If you are taking this consistently throughout the fall and winter, you will find yourself needing to reorder often like 2-4 times per month, which makes the long term cost feel excessive. It is more suited to use only at the onset of a cold or flu to help boost your natural immune system. It is still a good investment if you like a simple, natural ingredient lists. If you are looking for an inexpensive, mass market supplement, this likely isn’t the right fit. If you are looking for an organic, vegan friendly formula that avoids fillers and unnecessary additives, the quality of the product justifies the cost. It is a high quality option for those who want an alternative to pills and like natural products.
