I’m hopeful
I have been, shall we say, digestively challenged forever, so I have been trying out all different kinds of digestive enzyme supplements for many years. I long ago learned that the really simple ones with just papaya and pineapple were not going to do it for me, even if they may be sufficient for others. I usually look for supplements that have a long, comprehensive list of digestive enzymes, generally speaking the longer the better — I seem to need them all :)So this one is a little bit of a departure for me, because the list is fairly short. Upon doing a little bit of research, I come to find that Alpha galactosidase, one of the ingredients, is the main ingredient in the well-known Beano. Okay, that’s definitely not bad for a start. Then when I looked up Beta galactosidase, I find that that’s a fancy name for lactase. Also good, since I’m lactose intolerant. So help with breaking down complex carbs, proteins, and dairy. All important. On the product details page they mention that these are good for helping with FODMAP foods, and with my fondness for raw onions, that could be really helpful. What remains to be seen for me, is whether these will also help breaking down fats, a particular challenge for me that I inherited from my dad. If so, then this will definitely be a winner and should check off all the boxes.I’m a little unsure about quality, as there are some odd contradictions here. This product is manufactured in the USA, which is a good start, but definitely not enough by itself. It comes in dark tinted glass, and usually only really high quality supplements are packaged in glass, rather than plastic. But nowhere on the bottle does it say anything about third party testing, although it does say that they are on the product details page. And oddly, neither on the product details page nor on the bottle does it say anything at all about being manufactured either in a GMP or an FDA approved facility! So that leaves me feeling a bit insecure about the quality, and for that reason I am taking off a star.Still, my instincts are telling me that this should probably be good, so I remain hopeful. However, I do feel that they are pretty pricey. At best this is a one month supply; and, if like me, you need to take digestive enzymes with more than one meal a day, then it becomes maybe a two week supply, not a lot for this price. For that reason I’m taking off another star. I have found very good digestive enzyme supplements in the past for a much lower cost.So I have high hopes for these, but if they don’t live up to expectations, I will certainly be reporting back with an update.

Amazing supplement to take
Great supplement to add to my supplemental routine especially since it contains familiar ingredients. This one contains familiar ingredients all in one which makes it easy for me to add to my routine since I don’t have to take multiple supplements. There is no strange smell or taste, so it’s been easy to take every day especially since it’s only 1 medium capsule. It’s been about a week of me taking this and I haven’t struggled with consistency.

only take with a specific mealonly take with a specific meal
I’ve taken this 3 times since I received it over a month ago…because I don’t have a problem usually EXCEPT w gluten free pasta (usually I have corn and or chicken pea type). I’m totally fine eating corn or chicken peas but as a pasta I’ll be bowled over in pain or super bloated for a couple days. Bizarre. But I love pasta and I eat it every week. I was going to be bummed if this was the type of supplement you have to take daily to see a benefit but it seems to not be that way. I’ve had pasta about 6 times?? I think and 3 of those I took this while cooking it so I’d be good to go by the time it was ready to eat . And I didn’t get those weird super stuffed distention issues. Like it had to be this supplement.Idk if anyone else will agree with me on this other thing but they smell soooo good to me. It’s like an ACV -ish but also fruit but also sharpie (lol) smell Ugh I legit like the smell so much like if it were food I’d totally eat it. Prob wouldn’t taste good tho yuck.Well if I figure other foods that cause me probs down the line I’m good to have these. Also the ingredients are super healthy If they were less expensive I’d actually consider taking them regularly and not just to prevent a specific flare. It’s clear to me they’re effective. They are expensive tho.

Works Well But ExpensiveWorks Well But Expensive
This review is for organic Olivia Bloat BFF, Digestive Enzyme & Probiotic Capsules with GingerI’ve been using Organic Olivia Bloat BFF after meals that tend to leave me feeling bloated, and overall I’ve been pleased with it. The capsules are small, easy to swallow, and I didn’t experience any unpleasant aftertaste or noticeable side effects. The combination of digestive enzymes, ginger, papaya, and pineapple makes sense for supporting digestion, and I did notice less bloating and stomach discomfort after some meals. My main hesitation is the price. At around $40 for 30 capsules, it’s definitely on the expensive side, especially if you need digestive support more than once a day. The bottle is also much larger than the actual amount of capsules inside, which makes the value feel less impressive.Overall, I think this is a well-formulated and convenient digestive supplement that may provide noticeable relief, but the high cost keeps it from being a higher recommendation.

Actually works great for bloating, but the bottle is mostly emptyActually works great for bloating, but the bottle is mostly empty
Lol, is this a sample? The bottle itself isn’t huge, but it feels absolutely giant compared to the actual amount of capsules they put inside. They really should have included 30 to 60 more capsules to fill the container so it doesn’t look so completely empty right out of the box.Outside of the packaging ratio, I actually think these are working with no side effects! I have been struggling with severe bloating issues for the past few years no matter what I eat, and nothing usually helps. However, I noticed that the last few times I had a meal while taking these, I didn’t feel nearly as bloated as I usually do.The capsules are also very easy to swallow. If the manufacturer included at least twice as many capsules in the jar for this price point, I would probably purchase it again. The product itself is incredibly effective, it just needs to be a better value for the money!

Helps with bloatingHelps with bloating
I’ve been using these for a couple of weeks now, and I can honestly say I feel like they’ve made a difference. It’s not a dramatic overnight change, but I’ve noticed less bloating overall and my stomach feels more comfortable after meals. Sometimes it’s the subtle improvements that matter most. The capsules are easy to take, and I haven’t experienced any unpleasant side effects. While everyone’s body is different, they’ve worked well enough for me that I’ll keep using them to see if the benefits continue. If you’re looking for a gentle supplement to help support gut health and occasional bloating, I think these are definitely worth trying

It works fastIt works fast
I admit to being drawn to supplements that have good packaging. (It’s in a real glass bottle with a metal cap.) I act first on my needs and then think, then usually take or avoid the product because of one reason or another. This one, however, seems more like a distilled food and probiotics than your standard supplement. And what’s more, it works well and quickly. The bloat that follows eating an egg and cheese bagel is cut short in minutes and I can go about my day without the need to whine and grab my stomach. I wouldn’t try abuse its use on the daily because even too much water isn’t good for you, so watch what you eat, but I’m glad that I have something natural to combat common but annoying digestive issues. The downside is that there are no seals of assurances that I normally look for. It’s also a bit out of my budget but there’s no denying its effectiveness. If it’s in your budget and you have to go to a dinner party some foods disagree with you because they have too fiber or otherwise hard to digest, then you might want to have a bottle in your arsenal.
