Great company, seems to be working already
October 24, 2018 is when I began taking this supplement. I have a doctor’s appointment in a few weeks, so we’ll see if it has helped my liver enzymes at all. I was surprised to see my complexion has cleared up, though, as another reviewer mentioned. I did not realize that was a benefit of milk thistle, but my skin cleared up in about a week. Previously, I’d had ongoing little whiteheads caused by my Biotin pills. They’ve been there for 2 months already, so the fact that my skin cleared up a week after taking this supplement indicates to me that it’s working.I’m also giving a 5-star review based on the fact that the customer service is excellent. I ordered this and their Intestine Pro pills the same day. Both came with a coupon for a free bottle of each product (only one bottle per product per customer). I got both my free botttles of Intestine Pro and Milk Thistle within a couple days of submitting my claim. The company also sent additional info through Amazon via email and responded quickly to my email replies.I’m glad I discovered this company during their product launch phase. I got some great deals and now I have a new company that I trust.I will update this review by the end of November, 2018 when I get my labs back regarding my liver enzymes. But, I think it’s safe to say I’ll be buying this product again.

I NEED milk thistle!
There are organs you were not intended to FEEL. I started feeling my liver shortly after my dad died of liver cancer! Two docs with a few years between gave me the exact same diagnosis: “Hmm, its enlarged.” A few more years on, I found an alternative MD who did a ‘liver challenge’ which diagnosed a phase 2 detox deficiency, probably from overdosing on Tylenol. However, even armed with a FUNCTIONAL TEST, I couldn’t get an medical help. So I have used milk thistle for years. W/I the last few mos my husband has started having irregular liver enzymes. His MDs have nothing to offer. So I’m a little slow on the draw. . . one day it occurs to me to have him take milk thistle and see if it helps his enzymes. Like I say, I’m slooooow and he hasn’t been taking it long enough to be retested. Even tho I was diagnosed almost 20 years ago, my liver enzymes have never been abnormal according to the medical standard. Since I can’t get any medical help, I can only conclude that my liver rescue strategy using milk thistle has been successful. Mind you, I’m cautious about things that stress my liver as well. I purchased this particular milk thistle because I always try to get organic and veg caps. I’m so happy to find this product!

Great product
I wanted to wait a bit before reviewing this product to ensure I can really review how effective it is. Honestly, I love this so much, especially that it is organic certified! Along with drinking dandelion root tea and taking this product, I can tell a difference in my energy. Before taking this product, I felt sluggish. I felt that my liver really needed a push/help in detoxing all the heavy crap that I’ve put my body over the years. I also bought this based off medical medium’s new book Liver Rescue which recommended Milk thisle. A lot of issues people deal with today all stem from a poorly working liver. I feel like any one and everyone can benefit from this product. Especially for the price and quality!!

Seems to ease liver discomfort
I started taking this milk thistle supplement to combat the effects of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease throwing off my liver enzymes, with associated pain in the upper left part of my abdomen after eating. I take one capsule after eating or with food twice a day and have noticed positive changes in the way I feel (less pain).It will be months before I have my enzymes checked again, but I’m hopeful that this supplement taken with 2000mg of tumeric a day will help over the long haul with both the pain and the enzymes. The capsules are large, but go down fairly easily with no aftertaste. If you have NASH, it’s worth a try.

I have adopted a new lifestyle from a book I read called the Fat Flush. In this book weight loss is centered around the functioning of the liver and the detoxification process of it. Long story short, I needed some milk thistle (do your research). I combed the aisles of Sprouts and there were over 30 options. I took pictures of them all and went home to research them and Amazon compare them. This product stuck out to me because it was organic and came in capsule form. I have been taking it for about a month now, and with my (mostly) clean diet and exercise, I lost 11 pounds in a month!

Keeps Liver Enzymes In Optimal Range
The reason I purchased this milk thistle is because I had my annual physical and blood work done and my blood work came back saying that my ALT and AST levels were way over the optimal range, one was 100 something and the other was 300 something. Researched what that meant, the most common thing I found was it could be signs of early stages of fatty liver disease (also what my doctor had said) but I also found that it possibly could have been from your body releasing those enzymes to help restore your muscles after hard workouts, which is what I had done a few days before the bloodwork. Don’t know exactly what caused the levels to be so high, but after taking the pills, just one a day and sometimes two a day, and not really changing anything else when it came to physical activity and food intake, after about a month when I went to get bloodwork again, the liver enzyme levels were about right in the middle of the optimal range from 0 to 40 something.I now take this milk thistle on the regular with the rest of my vitamins just because.Worked great for me, maybe it will for you.Get your bloodwork done and see for yourself.Hope this helps somebody.
