It’s a good quality supplement
When I found out that 1000mg of bergamot could reduce bad cholesterol and high blood pressure while raising good cholesterol levels and regulate blood sugar I began looking for a good formulation. I recognized this brand, Cadane, as the same brand of organic frozen fruit in my local grocery so I felt it would be good quality. Personalized Medicine: a respectable term coined by healthcare a few decades ago to give credence to an old adage, “One man’s medicine is another man’s poison.” The point: each person’s response to treatment is deeply individual, with no uniform response to any drug of product used to treat different persons for the same condition. This makes optimal treatment choices elusive and medical practice an artful application of science, art, dialogue, and faith in God as healer. After being diagnosed with high cholesterol, or hypercholesterolemia, my cardiologist prescribed lipid-lowering drugs for me. I have now abandoned them in favor of this formulation of Citrus Bergamot. I did so after carefully studying the research on both choices, especially after learning that the drug I was taking, and all others in its class, had a listed side effect potential for early onset Alzheimer’s! The cardiologist insisted that every day I failed to take my prescribed drug was one less day I would live! Bought these to lower my cholesterol and they worked! This kept me from my doctor putting me on cholesterol medication. It was high 6 months ago and I told him I would try lowering it on my own first. When I went back he said not to change a thing! Smells a little garlicky but there’s no aftertaste.
