A must while on antibiotics
I usually use the culturelle chewables, but thought we’d try this, and so far, so good. It’s that time of year again for colds, so both of my kids are on antibiotics. I always pair a probiotic with them, to avoid yeast infections or tummy troubles.Kids thought they were getting a sugar treat (like a pixie stick).

This is a phenomenal way to trick your kids into taking probiotics. You can mix it in applesauce if they’re not fond of the flavor, also. I’ve had good experiences ordering from Ora and I can stick behind supporting them. Their probiotics are definitely quality and have helped me. I grew up eating pixie sticks and maybe I’d be a bit better off if these existed back then, lol!

Okay, so what I love about this probiotic are that the strains and the fact that they can tell you which exact variety of each strain it is because even among one strain there can be a lot of difference between the numbered varieties. I love the the of prebiotic fiber they add to this, jerusalem artichoke is a great fiber that helps encourage the growth of anaerobic strains that we need more of in our guts that we cannot get in supplements. I love that this is organic. I love that this is free from contact with allergens. Now, my kids love this, so much more fun than a pill, and tastier. I did try one so I could speak to flavor in this review and this does taste good. One kid has trouble opening so I always have to tear it open for her. The price of this is pretty on par with most one-month supply probiotics, but this Ora Organics has a lt more going for it than others in the same price range so I believe that gives this good value.

Good value
This is along the lines of pricing for a standard probiotic. It doesn’t need refrigeration, but it always makes me wonder about the efficacy over time. The taste is pretty strong and it contains xylitol so although there isn’t sugar and it is considered vegan friendly, I’m not particularly fond of that ingredient. Quick dissolving and easy to take.

It wasn’t a powder. It was fairly solid and crunchy. The flavor is off. My kids actually spit it out. They usually love this kind of stuff, but not this brand.
