As we get older the liver can get sluggish. When the liver isn’t working well, it can add to all sorts of body-wide problems. As a senior over 65, keeping the liver healthy is a top priority so I always take milk thistle. I was very happy to find this combination of Milk Thistle, Artichoke, Dandelion, Solarplast, Lipase & Protease Enzymes in one formula. I had to look up Solarplast as I had not heard of it before. It says it’s a patented product from spinach leaf extract. This blend helps to detox and enhance liver function. The bottle has an odor when opened but the capsules have little to no smell or taste and are easy to swallow. I’ve taken milk thistle for years and have always trusted it is helping and will do the same with this brand. In my case, it’s more of a preventative measure as I age. I can’t tell any difference in energy levels but there aren’t any side effects either. It says it’s manufactured in an FDA registered facility. The description says it’s tested for quality control but it lacks the 3rd party lab testing certification.
