My doctor recommended I try turmeric. After 10 days to two weeks, I was able to cut back on one of my bedtime pain meds that I have had to take for several years. Previously, I was having to take the Tylenol 3 every night, an hour or two after I took my Tramadol, because I would be in so much pain just from daily activities. And if I over did it by pushing myself too much to get yard work and other chores done, the pain would be even worse. So I am very pleased with the results I have gotten with this product. I feel that it works well to help reduce inflammation.

Turmeric has been a medicinal supplement in Asia for centuries. Turmeric is used for arthritis, stomach issues, joint pain, diarrhea, intestinal gas, loss of appetite, jaundice, liver problems, gallbladder disorders, high cholesterol, and fatigue. It is also used for headaches, bronchitis, colds, lung infections, fibromyalgia, menstrual problems, diabetes, and depression, among other things. Will it cure everything that ails you? Maybe or maybe not, but it is worth a try.I’ve been taking turmeric for about a year for inflammation and to improve circulation, on the advice of my accupuncturist. The other turmeric supplements I have purchased have been much more expensive and were in a small tablet form that had to be taken five times a day. Once or twice a day with this one. When I don’t take my turmeric, I can gauge my inflammation in the size and number of folds on my scalp…. when I do take my turmeric, I can’t even feel folds on my scalp, so I know it’s working! This product also contains black pepper, which increases the blood levels of turmeric several fold, but tricking the liver into letting it be absorbed rather than eliminating it. I highly recommend this product – if you are having inflammation issues, give it a try!

On the recommendation of his gastrointestinal surgeon, my husband has been taking 1000 to 1500mg of turmeric daily for a year now. He had three major surgeries involving his intestines that left him battling an ongoing internal inflammation problem. Prescription drugs weren’t really solving the issue and were causing additional side effects, so his two specialists agreed that a daily regimen of turmeric might help.To be clear, we are in no way at all believers in random, unsubstantiated holistic mumbo jumbo. However, turmeric powder has been studied and it’s inexpensive and worth a try. It’s NOT a miracle cure and it’s NOT a fast fix for real problems. But…. with actual supervision from a real medical doctor, follow ups with regular blood work and testing by real medical professionals, this particular supplement can help with some inflammation conditions.This particular version is actually a substitute for our regular brand, but after two full bottles, my husband has had no upset stomach and his symptoms have remained controlled. He hasn’t experienced any additional problems so I feel comfortable saying this brand is as described and advertised.

A friend recommended that I try turmeric for an old ankle injury that’s really been bothering me as I’ve gotten older. Tried a couple of different brands on Amazon, mostly by following other folks reviews, and settled on the NutriFlair brand for the amount I got for the price. It worked pretty well at first, but I understood from the beginning that turmeric wasn’t for everyone but that it did help about 70% of people who tried it. Later, while reading more reviews, someone mentioned that turmeric was fat soluble and absorbed better with some form of fat taken with it, like a meal or another supplement. I began taking an Omega 3 supplement with it and WOW!, On it’s own it decreased my pain by about half but when I added the fish oil, the pain is almost completely gone. It lasts most of the day and at my job I stand all day. I can see needing another dose after six hours but to make them last 2 months per bottle, I try to stick to one morning dose. Surprisingly good product and muuuuch better for you than NSAIDS (Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs). Wife is now using it for her shoulder and loves it too.

I am extremely happy with this product. My arthritis has been kept at bay, hasn’t progressed since I have been taking the product. No shooting pains like before taking it. I had to get a cortisone shot before I started taking this, now I just take 2 capsules a day. I have been taking turmeric for over 2 years now and am completely happy with this product.😆update 3 years later: This product really works for my arthritis. It has not progressed at all since I started taking 2 tabs every morning with my coffee 3 years ago. I had gone to the doctors for an annual and she discovered a lump in my throat and scheduled an ultrasound. They found several cysts and a few lumps less than 1 millimeter. I started taking the turmeric because I had heard it was good for inflammation. I had also gone to an orthopedic surgeon for my arthritis in my right hand. It was bothering me with shooting pains alot. The only thing that worked was cortizone shots that I had gotten for about 1 and a half years. I wanted to find another solution so I started taking this product and after 1 and a half years of ultrasounds, the lumps have not grown and my arthritis has not progressed. IT WORKS!!

I have told all my friends about these who have knee and hip pain. No pain in my hip anymore. It’s been at least a year and still going strong. It’s helped my knees a great deal also. Still have some problems but nothing like before. I think damaged had been done before I found these. They’ve also helped everyone I’ve told them about, every one. I can walk a long distance now with no pain, it’s only getting up from low positions without hanging onto something to push myself up, but the Dr. told me not to use anything and just take the pain. Whatever works. Wish I’d known 10 yrs ago. Drs. aren’t bright enough to figure it out, or don’t care, so I did my own research. No surgery in my future anymore. Do yourself and your body a favor.

I’m 69, and can be described as having the 4 F’s (Fat, Female, Flatulent and [over] Forty! Family history of heart disease, diabetes, several kinds of cancer. I try to eat somewhat healthily, but admit to too much red meat, butter, and I still smoke. Recently retired from a fairly active job, so now I’m not getting the exercise that I’m used to. I’ve been taking daily curcumin for several years now, plus I’ve always contended that weekly sushi should count toward a cardiac health plan. I recently had an onset of AFib for which they immediately put me in for an angiogram. I was pretty sure that I’d end up with blockages, based on my diet, lack of exercise, weight, and tobacco use. Pleasantly surprised that it came out clean as a whistle. I give at least partial credit for that to the curcumin. Working on my other issues now, but the curcumin will definitely remain a part of my daily routine!
