Big results from a small dose…
I’d never heard of black turmeric before this crossed my path. After reading a bit about it, I decided to give it a shot. I’ve been taking regular turmeric for years. The biggest difference I’ve noticed, is that I’m getting pretty much the same results from 350mgs of black turmeric that I get from 3000mgs of yellow turmeric. The bottle states that I can increase to 2 capsules per day if needed, but I haven’t seen the need. At the time of this review, a bottle of 60 capsules was $45.00. That’s plenty of inspiration for me to keep it at a one per day. $22.50 per month is much closer to what I’m used to spending on a supplement of this nature. This is a premium product. It comes in a glass bottle and certified organic. There are no unnecessary fillers. The label is clearly marked and easy to read. The capsules are small and easy to swallow, and there is no unpleasant aroma emitted from the bottle. Due to the rarity and expense of black turmeric, I will most likely return to the stuff I normally use once this is gone, but if you’re looking for something a little extra or if you struggle with sensitivity to regular turmeric, I’ll encourage you to try this. It may be exactly what you’re looking for!👍

Always appreciate organic ingredients and ones that only have few ingredients. I purchased this for joint pain and though it’s only been two weeks I feel ass though I feel slight improvements so fingers crossed there’s more coming. Easy to swallow pills with no bad aftertaste.

This turmeric supplement uses black turmeric instead of the more common yellow turmeric. Unlike yellow turmeric, black turmeric is not used for cooking but is used in Ayurvedic medicine for medicinal purposes, like pain management and congestion. Like yellow turmeric, it’s also good for fighting inflammation. The listing shows several quality standards they meet, including being third-party tested. Black turmeric is from a rare rhizome, so the cost is more expensive than yellow turmeric supplements, but I think they’re well worth the money.The taste of the supplements is slightly stronger than the yellow turmeric supplements I’ve taken in the past, and I’ve had an instance or two feeling burpy, and being left with a slight peppery aftertaste. Pepper is frequently included with turmeric supplements to increase how your body absorbs and utilizes the turmeric, but isn’t mentioned in the supplement facts which makes me wonder if there’s something in black turmeric rhizomes that left that peppery aftertaste and if taking it with a meal where pepper is used is not necessary. Thankfully the couple of burpy instances haven’t been repeated and I haven’t noticed any other side effects.I take this daily, but haven’t been on it long enough to feel sure it’s a factor in the lessening of the back pain I usually have. Since I had been taking a turmeric supplement anyway, and there’s a chance it is lessening my pain even in the short amount of time I’ve been taking it, I think this supplement is well worth taking.
