I’ve never really taken any fiber supplements, as I generally eat more fiberous foods than most. I recently switched to a higher fat, lower carb diet, which cut out a lot of fiber sources.I settled on this after reviewing various options. I wanted something with a balanced mix of soluble and insoluble fiber, which is somewhat hard to find. This fit the bill. The Omega 3s and small protein are just a bonus. It has really helped my stomach and made losing weight easy.The only downside is that it’s not very soluble in water. So really protein shakes or other “solutions” are the only way to easily mix it into food. That being said, it doesn’t taste bad (or taste much at all)—just mixing/suspending it in water and chugging it before it settles to the bottom is fine.

This is a fantastic fiber! I have IBS and many food intolerances. I’ve used MANY different fibers on and off for years to try to manage some of my symptoms. About two years ago I heard and then read that psyllium fibers can be very irritating and potentially cause some permanent damage to the lining of the intestines with continual use, so since then I’ve been looking for a psyllium free more gentle replacement. I love this fiber. It doesn’t “thicken up” into that “jelly like” consistency like most other fibers. That being said, the recommended dosage – 2.5 table spoons – in an average size glass mixed with water can be a mouthful. That being said, it does say right on the product to work up to the full dosage. Personally I do a heaping table spoon twice a day (thusly dividing up my dosage). Several people have complained about the taste in their reviews – it’s obviously very personal, but I think it tastes just fine, a bit “oatmeal” like almost. I don’t mind the taste at all. This fiber has really helped me. It also has the added benefits of the omega 3s because it’s Flax based. Overall, I would highly recommend this product, especially if you’re looking for something psyllium free that you can use safely long term.

I really felt compelled to write this review. There are quite a few people talking about the taste and how well it dissolves. First, no it’s not Metamucil or Benefiber. It’s gluten free and contains omegas that those do not contain. It is a mix of soluble and insoluble fiber in the right combination which is much more productive in your system. I have mixed it in water or almond milk on its own. To me, it tastes like oatmeal a little. I just stir and drink, stir and drink until it’s gone. In a smoothie, it completely disappears. I use frozen fruit, almond millk, NOW Fiber-3, and a small packet of monk fruit sweetener. Taste is a very personal thing, so if you don’t like it, well, there isn’t much the product can do. Please don’t compare this product to a commercial fiber product though. This is natural and organic and simply doesn’t compare.

I have struggled with constipation all my life and have relied on taking Swiss Kriss for years every night to be regular. Then I tried Benefiber and loved it but it’s pricey and then the pandemic hit and put the cost way out of reach. I then switched to Kirkland brand fiber and found it had similar benefits but I had to use more of it since it didn’t work quite as well so the cost came out to be about the same. I had settled on using that fiber but it was not available when I ran out recently so I chose this one to try.If you like grainy fiber and make smoothies or don’t mind eating this in oatmeal, yogurt, etc., you likely won’t mind the taste or texture of this fiber. Or if you’re okay with downing this in some juice or water, this may also work for you. I tried putting it in a warm drink and couldn’t get past the bulkiness or texture as it does not dissolve. Realistically, I knew I wasn’t going to commit to taking the fiber any other way. But I’m not about wasting products that may actually work, so I decided to put this in capsules. Luckily, I already have a bulk supply of empty capsules on hand and a handy dandy capsule machine, which I highly recommend if you take a lot of supplements!I put the fiber in size 00 capsules and am currently taking five of these per day around dinner time, which is about a teaspoon’s worth of fiber. Wowza! All I can say is, give it several days to start really working. It definitely worked immediately for me, but in the sense that I was having small bowel movements a few times a day. By day two, I had to go immediately in the morning with one larger bowel movement and a smaller one later in the day. Day three, I had to go in the morning and felt like I voided completely (such a satisfying feeling lol). This fiber gives your bowel movements the bulk you’re looking for so that they come right out smoothly and cleanly and you can keep going about your day. Just make sure you drink water to help move things along. There’s been zero discomfort for me, zero straining, and zero worry about having any accidents. I take a ton of supplements during the day, so I like that I can take this in the evening and still get results in the morning as soon as I wake up.In terms of results, this exceeds 5 stars for me and works better than anything I’ve previously tried. I really wish they sold this in capsules, as it’s kind of inconvenient for me to cap these on my own. I made 150 capsules for a 30-day supply so the method of delivery is the only reason I docked a star. But this fiber 100% works, and for me it’s worth the extra effort. Because I need so little per dose (I can’t imagine taking a full dose of 2.5 tablespoons omg lol), this tub is economical and is going to last a long time!

GAG! Zero stars if I could.
I have no idea if this fiber helps because I gagged trying to swallow it. It tastes like how moldy bread smells! Maybe I got a bad batch. I’ve used other brands of organic fiber that weren’t necessarily delicious but were tolerable and helpful. I gave it 3 tries and finally called for a refund (it is not returnable) which I am waiting to receive from Amazon. The whole container will go in the trash today!

Best fiber I’ve found yet. I make smoothies everyday and add it in and i personally don’t taste a difference. I’m 14 weeks pregnant and constipation was horrible.. now I go every morning. I wish I was going multiple times a day but thankfully I’m at least going once. I can truly tell a difference! It’s a gentle way to help your gut.Update: I stopped taking it because I can’t have smoothies due to bananas giving me histamine issues. I have gone 3 days without pooping!! This morning I added it to my water and just drank it. Wasn’t that bad.
