good way to get sea vegetable nutrition (if you don’t like to eat sea vegetables)
I know sea vegetables are good for you, but I really don’t like to eat them. I haven’t been making too many smoothies lately, and there really aren’t a lot of other ways to add sea vegetables to the diet. But I don’t want to miss out on all the nutrients. Plus, as a vegetarian, I may be missing out on some dietary sources of iodine. (I don’t add much salt when I cook and of course the salt in processed foods is generally not iodized.)This is a medium-to-large-sized capsule (but not a “horse pill”…). It’s not difficult to swallow and it doesn’t have any kind of taste or aftertaste. I’ve been taking one per day for about a month and even though there is sodium in these along with the iodine, my blood pressure is in good shape. In addition to the iodine that everyone knows about in kelp, this has a lot of other vitamins and minerals, as well (A, several B vitamins including folic acid, C, D, E, and K, some omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, iron, manganese, selenium, and more). There’s also some fiber and protein. And I particularly like that this product is vegetarian. (Plus, the kelp comes from the North Atlantic, far away from any of the radiation from the nuclear disaster in Japan. And it’s analyzed for heavy metals.)Qualitatively, I think these are helping with energy. I have recently re-started Focus T25, which is a rather difficult exercise program, after several months of light or no exercise (due to stresses in my life). While I am definitely working hard, it’s not impossible to keep up! I can jump as well at the end of the workout as I could at the beginning. And I’m not wiped out afterwards.Please consult with a doctor if you have thyroid nodules, of course. And don’t use this in place of a prescription medication. (You might be able to use it to reduce your dose of a prescription, but that should be done in conjunction with regular blood tests.) But if you are going to try a sea vegetable supplement, this seems like a good one.

I discovered late about the importance of iodine supplements. I have been actively using the usual multivitamins etc. daily. Upon trying for 1 month onwards, one of the most noticeable reductions or absence I found is the problem of adult acne. I have been having this problem regularly despite trying other methods diet, hygiene, sleep, creams etc. to control it to no avail, this kelp supplements has simply made the problem go away! Recommended as an alternative!
