    Magnesium more absorbable in capsule form with Citrate – took away my leg and foot pain

    Nice capsules that are easy to swallow and don’t make my stomach sick like the hard pills. I bought these because I and terrible pain in my legs and feet after recovering from meningitis. I did a bunch of research. Nothing worked, even Lyrica. But I started taking magnesium supplements faithfully and then found discovered that Magnesium citrate in capsule form is much more absorbable. As long as I continue to take them at night I stay ahead of the pain.

    I have been buying 100mg pills and taking 4 since there is NO appreciable medical difference according to my Neurologist. I refuse to pay the jacked up prices producers are charging for a single pill in the right dose. These you take 3 capsules of, just like the other reasonably priced options out there. LOL Someone got smart and realised what many people like me were doing. This packaging reduces my number of pills by 1! For the same cost pretty much. I’m okay with that. If it changes, I’ll be back to 4 pills in my nightly dose!

    I was told by my cardiologist that Magnesium Citrate is vitally important to one’s cardiovascular function. So I got this brand, and have found the capsules very easy to swallow and the nutrients very quick to be absorbed. The importance of this compound is that it is Magnesium CITRATE. Don’t get the plain old magnesium tablets. They don’t dissolve effectively and most are not citrate. NOW seems to have excellent quality control protocols in place, too. So well worth the money and the benefits. Here’s to your good health!

    Magnesium is supposed to be good for you in various ways according to an article I read. The article also mentioned some side effects which include it’s laxative action. That’s what I use it for. It works which has helped me avoid some unpleasant situations.
