They are very easy to swallow and if not careful they can be difficult to hold in your hands if you are not very nimble with your fingers.SIDE EFFECTS?I did not notice any side effects taking these.DO THEY HELP?I take these for inflammation, exhaustion, and when I need an immunity boost. For all of these things, this seems to help like regular astragalus does. Do I notice off the charts OMG performance? Not really. But they do help for taking such a small pill.THE BOTTOM LINEI am not sure about the long term telomeres or really intricate effects as this is only one bottle. However, as a basic quick moving astragauls supplement it is easy to take and seems to help.MY RATINGThese pills are small enough. They seem to help, but honestly, for the price and what you get, I am not sure I can afford to take them. I have had other sources of astragalus which work well for me and cost less. This Nootropics Depot Astragaloside IV Capsules is an excellent US-Lab made supplement. Its powerful ingredients are known to be effective for immune support. For me, I’ve been using it for weeks. I only take a single capsule of this supplement daily, often before meals or before sleeping. Of course, this is in addition to what I take regularly. It is easy to swallow and has no after-taste. The texture and color of the content looks clean and pure and processed well. There’s little to no undesirable smell in it and the flavor is natural. In my experience, it has helped my mental acuity all day. It also improved my cognitive function. As for me, I’m giving Nootropics Depot Astragaloside IV Capsules a 5-star rating.However, my recommendation here should not be taken as a third-party lab test result or medical advice, rather, as an observation of a voluntary non-medical user. I’m not earning from any of these manufacturers. In most cases, there is already much research and studies made on the ingredients here. It’s up to the consumer to do their homework in order to feel comfortable and safe in taking the supplement. Moreover, prolonged use may cause compromise of immunity or increase toxicity level in the body. Very small and easy to swallow…
The Nootropics Depot Astragaloside IV Capsules come in a very small bottle. I laughed when I first saw it., but when you see the capsules, you will see the smallest veggie capsules you have ever seen. You will not have issues swallowing these tablets!The bottle was surrounded in clear plastic and under the lid there was a safety seal. The bottle contains 30 veggie capsules, for which there was no real smell or taste. The capsules contain 50 mg of Astragaloside IV from 100 mg Astragalus Membranaceus Extract (root). There are only three other inert ingredients, which is refreshing to see in this day and age. The manufactures name, address and web address are on the bottle and there is a sticker on the bottom of the bottle with a best used by date. The Amazon ad states that the capsules are made in the USA, made in a cGMP certified facility and the capsules are verified in their ISO certified lab.The Nootropics Depot Astragaloside IV Capsules contain Astragalus membranaceus which has multiple documented medical benefits, many of which I didn’t know until I came across this particular supplement and researched it. I personally am using them for my hair, medical benefits of which were more recently discovered. If you are unsure about the medical benefits of this supplement, I highly suggest you research Astragaloside IV, for they are vast.Overall, I had no adverse reactions to using the Nootropics Depot Astragaloside IV Capsules and have seen some of the benefits reported from using them. Tablets are definitely easy to swallow. I have not yet seen the benefits for my hair, however, as this is something that won’t be noticeable for 90 days or so. But so far, so good. I also love the fact this US company handles their own manufacturing process. I wish more companies did this. Five stars.

I haven’t noticed any effect from taking them
I ordered these when I read that they lengthen telomeres. I listened to a video hosted by UC San Diego about telomeres, which was very fascinating. The longer your telomeres are, the longer your life will be. Hence, the reason I wanted to try these.I haven’t noticed that they make a difference in how I feel. It might be like vitamin D, which is some thing I know I need, but don’t notice any affect from taking it. I’m on the fence, as to whether I want to continue taking it.In the pictures, you can see the bottle is pretty small, as are the capsules. Also, the expiration date is well out into the future. I like the fact that they are lab tested and certified.I believe it’s gluten-free since they follow good manufacturing practices. However, I can’t be sure since I didn’t find anything on their website, the bottle, or in the information here on Amazon specifically saying that it’s gluten-free. I posed the question, but it hasn’t been answered.

It’s Supposed to Lengthen Your Telomeres!
I’ve been taking these everyday for almost two weeks but so far haven’t noticed any benefit or ill effects. My health isn’t the greatest so it may take more time before I see any changes. From my internet research the Astragaloside IV compound is supposed to have an impressive list of positive health effects including lengthening telomeres.The pills themselves are smaller than most supplements I take and are well tolerated by me with no stomach discomfort. They are manufactured by whom I feel is a trustworthy company that claims to thoroughly lab test all their products. I have personally used several of their supplements in the present and past and have found them all so far to live up to the company’s claims in regards to potency and benefits. Given this I trust this supplement will also live up to their claims and is why I am giving it 5 stars.The only thing about these that I do not like are the “other ingredients” which some people will tell are not good. I know there are alternatives that carry no questionable safety concerns so why are they not using them? With that said it is a hotly debated subject and many supplements use the same ingredients for their fillers and capsules so it really comes down to what you feel is safe to put in your body.I am excited to have the opportunity to try these. I’m hoping I will start to see some positive effects as I get closer to finishing the bottle and if I do I will update this review with how it has helped.

I am a proud member of the longevity community. As such, I’ve had my eye on Astragaloside IV for quite some time. It’s potential to increase telomere (end caps of your chromosomes) length–in effect, reverse aging–is quite remarkable.You heard it right: reverse aging. Providing the science behind telomeres and telomerase is beyond my scope, but let’s just say that a qualified person can tell your age just by the length of your telomeres. The shorter the telomeres, the older a person is; the longer the telomeres, the younger the person is.So, what this supplement promises to do is make us younger. (Of course, you have to live a healthy lifestyle overall. Nothing is a magic bullet for poor sleep, inactivity, and bad nutrition.)These capsules are so small that you could virtually swallow them without water. I’ve experienced no negative side effects from taking these.I’m 45, so 60 years from now I’ll follow up on this review. In all seriousness, when it becomes within my budget, I’ll start testing to see how effective are my longevity protocols.
