Odd flavor, no rush
I was hoping these could replace energy drinks, but they are not up to the task.The flavor of these starts out intense and fruity, before fading to bitter astringency. While they could stave off a caffeine withdrawal headache side effect, they do not compete with a monster energy drink. If you aren’t a heavy caffeine user, these are probably a great value, but I need more than what these pouches contain.

Tastes good, decent caffeine content for a boost
These have a decent watermelon taste but I haven’t really noticed much of an energy boost after consuming them. Maybe slightly more focused but can’t say for sure. They’re an easy pick me up with a good taste. Perhaps my average caffeine intake beyond far above this makes this less of a jolt for people like me, but I imagine for the casual coffee/tea drinker this would be a decent afternoon or evening pick me up.

The energy is pretty good for only 100mg. The rest of the ingredients also help with focus. I’m new to pouches and am still getting used to it. But the effect does start quick (minutes) after you put it as directed. It lasts a good amount of time, and is useful for those times when you are looking for a quick energy and might also not be able to snack right away while you are out and about running errands, etc. But I think the best part of this is the customer service of the company. It’s top notch as far as my experience goes. Very responsive and helpful, so that I am very appreciative for, because customer service is a lost art. I hope they stay in business for a long time!

Flavor was great and I definitely felt focused and energized after taking them! One thing about oral pouches I don’t like is they make my gums really dry and sensitive, Nitro didn’t make my gums feel that way so automatically these are my favorite because of that. Gonna use these more throughout the week.

First I’d like to say that it takes expertise in puzzle boxes to get into these boxes. I worked last night for about 10 minutes until my fingers and hand hurt. Not to be undone I started again this morning peeling the wrapper off. I followed directions pushing and turning or trying to turn and never found what it was suppose to be aligned with. All I ended up with at this point was a sticky box in places. Before getting a knife and hammer I tried once more where it was beginning to bob up and down where I found the slightest little rough area over the bulge when pushed down. I used my nails what was left of them and guided it along the bulge area when you push down and it started to open up the area. Mind you this is a black box so you can only go by feel. After separating top from bottom I gripped top and bottom and twisted while apply pressure to pull the top up and FINALLY i had little pouches all over the place!! I am now going to try one since I’m completely drained of energy. I’ll update then. Well I had put the top back on and it snapped shut, now I can’t get it back open because I don’t see where it’s suppose to align!!UPDATE: it’s been a couple of weeks now since writing the first part of review. After opening the box a second time I took all the little pouches and put them in a Ziploc bag. Giving a review on just the opening of this box shouldn’t be negative as to the contents. I just thought that opening it up should be easier than what it was. I must say that the taste of watermelon is OK and if you’ve got it in your mouth after about 20 minutes, it might become a little bit better, but not much. I have a real problem that sort of like narcolepsy where I can just drop off and not really realize it so I might say that this has helped a little bit keeping me awake in a lot of my downtime some people may be more sensitive to this product than I am and it might work better. I do think it works, but not a snap to it awake type experience for me. I got five little canisters in a package and have been using them daily.. I have added a star because I do think it works a little and I shouldn’t take off because of packaging. The second canister that I opened was not any easier than the first, and I would recommend that the manufacturer find a better way to seal these things so you can open them. Maybe it’s just my fingers as I am 80 years old. So my overall take from this product is that it works to keep you from falling asleep or dozing, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a student who wants to stay up all night trying to study.

I picked these up hoping for a convenient mental boost during a round of golf. The single-serve packets are easy to carry in a golf bag or pocket, and I like the concept of a quick, portable nootropic that doesn’t require water.In terms of performance, I didn’t notice a significant improvement in focus or mental clarity. Maybe something, but not like an energy drink. I also didn’t experience any negative side effects, so the product was easy enough on my stomach.The biggest drawback for me was the taste. While I like the strong watermelon “Bubblicious” gum smell and taste, but also have a strong artificial sweetener flavor that lingered longer than I would have liked. I’m fairly sensitive to artificial sweeteners, so this may not bother everyone, but it was noticeable enough that it made me hesitate to reach for another packet.Whether these work will likely vary from person to person, but I think the flavor is something prospective buyers should know about. At the current price, I personally wouldn’t purchase them again because I didn’t experience enough benefit to offset the taste.Overall, I like the portable packet format and the convenience for travel or a day on the course, but the flavor and my underwhelming experience keep this at 3 stars. It wasn’t effective enough that I see value in it.
