Great vitamin-strange chalky taste
I prefer a dissolvable tablet over a pill because sometimes I have a bit of trouble getting a pill vitamin down. These tabs are nice and small and they dissolve quickly. They do have a very chalky texture/taste to them but that’s to be expected in a vitamin. The package warns to take after a meal and I can definitely agree with that. I had one without a meal and my stomach felt bad afterwards. As far as vitamin intake I feel it does a great job at supplementing vitamin d but nothing works like the real thing: sunlight. So in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular activity I think these vitamins do provide a nice boost in vitamin d.

The ingredients for this product are as follows: 125 mcg Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol, xylitol, crospovidone, mixed berry flavor, bamboo extract, beet root (color), monk fruit extract, citric acid. This product does NOT contain: Wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, sesame. I think if you have common food allergies, this brand and product are a safe bet for most people. This bottle arrived with an intact tamper-evident seal on the outside of the cap, then another seal on the inside. The pills themselves are small and thin, about the size of a regular aspirin. I haven’t tried one yet, as I have already had my daily dose of vitamin D3, but they have a pleasant berry smell. Because these are sweetened with xylitol, please keep them far from all pets! Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs and cats, and it wouldn’t surprise me if other species had problems with it as well. Also, if you’re very sensitive to sugar alcohols, you might want to get their gel-capsule vitamin D3 instead of this particular product. The bottle I received has an expiration date roughly 3 years in the future, and contains 90 tablets. Overall, I think this is a good quality product and you’ll be getting a great value for your money!
