I have three requirements for supplements before I consider taking them. They must be made in the USA in a GMP-certified facility and have undergone third-party lab testing. This Nature’s Plus PRO Longvida Curcumin Lozenge supplement meets those requirements. It is manufactured in Amityville, New York. This supplement is vegan and free of gluten, soy, GMOs, and magnesium stearate. This bottle will last for 30 days at the recommended serving size of 2 lozenges per day. At the current price of $27.03, the cost per serving is $0.90. Curcumin comes from turmeric which does not taste very good. To say I was concerned about the taste of these lozenges is an understatement. I am pleased to report that the lozenges do not taste like turmeric. They are sweetened with cane sugar but aren’t overly sweet. I wouldn’t say they are delicious but they aren’t gross either.Natures Plus has a fully-functional website with this supplement available for purchase. They have a Facebook page with 125K followers. This is a very well-known and respected brand. The website has a contact form, full street address, and toll-free phone number available for customer assistance. They are very responsive to customer inquiries. I reached out to customer service in the past and received a response within one day. GPS shows the full address is a very large commercial building with a Natural Organics Laboratories, Inc sign. Natural Organics, Inc is listed on the bottle as the parent company of Natures Plus. I love that the company is manufacturing their own supplements instead of simply distributing supplements that were manufactured by some unknown company. Based on my research, I feel like this supplement is safe to take because it is made in the USA, third-party lab tested, and produced by a well-known supplement manufacturer.

A tasty way to get some curcumin
I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better so you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.This bottle comes about half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. I’d prefer they put in more tablets and/or use as smaller bottle.If used as directed it will last one month.The “best by” date on mine is Jul 2027.The tablets have a scent that is quite appealing – the moment I smelled them I had the urge to eat one. The taste is a little bit milder than the scent. You dissolve them in your mouth over a few minutes, during which time they develop a sandpaper-y texture, so don’t suck on them too hard. Once the outer layer is gone you have to search to detect the taste anymore. I would like it to last all the way through, especially since the second half of them takes a lot longer to dissolve.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says non-GMO and the product page says cGMP-compliant.I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. It looks like they are at least 50 years old. Their naturesplus site is functional and informative. It has their phone number, mailing address, and a Contact page form. The website has a lot of other information about the company, their processes, and more. It is some of the transparency I like to see with a supplement company.There are fillers and flow agents that many companies say they need to use, while the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to. At least this supplement does not have magnesium stearate in it. And they are sweet enough that I think they could drop the maltodextrin.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

The real deal – Longvida curcumin
This is a high-quality curcumin supplement using Longvida curcumin, which is one of the most clinically studied forms of curcumin with high bioavailability. Each 2-lozenge serving provides 500 mg of Longvida curcumin, which is more than the 400 mg dose commonly used in research for cognitive support, inflammation, and joint health.The lozenges taste surprisingly good and are sweetened with just cane sugar and natural flavors. Each one has only 1.5 grams of sugar which is reasonable. I found it amusing that they added natural coloring considering how bright curcumin already is on its own. My biggest concern is that because curcumin is such a vibrant color, I expect these could cause some teeth staining. I personally would rather just take my Longvida as a single 500mg capsule.Overall – this is a well-dosed, clinically studied curcumin supplement. The lozenge form is interesting and would be useful if you need lozenges for some particular reason, but I personally find capsules far more convenient to take on a daily basis and there is no risk of teeth staining.

Easy To Use Curcumin
NaturesPlus PRO Longvida Curcumin Lozenges have an innovative approach to curcumin supplementation. Firstly, they use a patented, highly bioavailable form of curcumin called Longvida. It has been extensively studied for benefits ranging from improved memory to mood enhancement. This formulation does not contain artificial sweeteners, opting for non-GMO cane sugar instead. This is viewed as a plus for me, aside from the fact that the lozenges are very, very sweet. They dissolve rather quickly and as a fan of turmeric, the flavor is pretty delicious to me. Very easy to take and have a great taste.
This is my review for NaturesPlus PRO Longvida Curcumin – 60 Lozenges /30 Servings.I just finished this bottle of Curcumin lozenges. As far as effectiveness, well, that would be different for each of us. I felt minimum benefit but then it was a lower dosage of 500 mg. This is where the optimization should be working.The description (in plain English) of this specially processed Curcumin is that Longvida has patented a Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle technology to make this Curcumin more absorbable. So, if it is more absorbable technically a smaller dosage is needed than previously formulated Curcumin capsules. In any case sometimes it takes more than 30 days for natural vitamins and supplements to reveal their benefits. This technology is starting to become more and more popular and that is not a bad thing. These mango flavored Curcumin lozenges were very easy to take. They dissolve nicely in your mouth over several minutes. The only thing I cringe at is the amount of sugar included which is 3 grams which equals 3/4 tsp per dosage. Perhaps a little less sugar would make it healthier? The positive side (for me) of using real sugar is that “fake” sugars are not used. All those sugar alternates do not agree with my digestive system. They also defeat the purpose of the benefits of the Curcumin. Overall, this is a yes for me. NaturesPlus is a family-owned business of a well-respected brand of almost 50 years made in USA. Their products are non GMO, science backed, and lab tested. Their manufacturing facility is cGMP. The cost of their products is reasonable. All the boxes have been checked, and I can recommend NaturesPlus Curcumin.

Cumin is known to have some pretty good benefits for the body, and it’s not something I often have. So, when I saw it offered in lozenge form, I decided to try it.I haven’t taken it long enough to speak for its effectiveness, especially since I take quite a few other supplements. But, I haven’t noticed any negative side effects either, so that’s a positive.Quality seems ok- it does list having some non gmo ingredients, and it is American made.Taste is good- the lozenges are fairly sweet, but they are big so you’ll be working on them for a bit.Overall, if they work, it seems like a nice way to get cumin.
