Good quality Product!
This product was imported so took time to come, but its worth the wait. I liked the quality & it helps.Slippery Elm helps in coating digestive tract. Best to take every day morning after waking up 2 capsules. Avoid eating/drinking 1 hour after that. Nature’s Way is a good brand to trust.

Use it only under medical supervision.
This product was ordered and received before the first lockdown was declared in India mid-March 2020 in the wake of the ‘COVID-19’ pandemic.‘Slippery Elm’ is a herb which helps soothe the digestive tract inside of the human body. It does not have the backing of any food or drug association as of now, but is generally seen to be a safe herb when taken in small and appropriate dosages. This product was chosen only when the herb was recommended by a Govt-certified ‘Ayurvedic’ practitioner, to help deal with digestive problems. No health-based product can work ‘magically’ if we subject the body to constant abuse, by way of constantly feeding it with processed foods. Home-cooked food comprising mainly fresh fruits and vegetables, with appropriate intake of grains, pulses, legumes, pseudo-grains, nuts if well-tolerated by the body is what really fuels the body and aids its functioning in each and every way, including in digestion.‘Slippery Elm’ was chosen only when even a balanced diet was not working by itself in the case of me and my parents. We have always followed good dietary practices, including the ‘Ayurvedic’ guide to food combinations, cooking, intake of water and other fluids and so on. A prolonged period of family distress (not related to ‘COVID-19’) might have negatively affected our digestive tracts. Fortunately, we are now over that period of our lives.Over-reliance on any one branch of medicine is not helpful. Following the best possible practices recommended under each branch of medicine, not contradicting each other, is what is truly needed.Since I and my parents are Indian-vegetarians, and ‘Slippery Elm’ is not a herb widely found in even the best of health supplements manufactured for Indian consumers, this product was chosen. One container has a total of 100 capsules. It has a good support base online, and is ‘Vegan’, thereby safe for our consumption.I and my parents are all different from each other in terms of our body composition as per ‘Ayurveda’: ‘Vata’ (Mom), ‘Pitta’ (I) and ‘Kapha’ (Dad). We were all recommended different dosages of the capsules accordingly. My parents were both asked to take the capsules in-between meal times, and I was specifically asked to take the capsules late-afternoon/early evening, preferably 30 minutes after drinking a cup of ‘Green Tea’, before dinner. Dinner had to be consumed at least an hour after having taken the capsules. The capsules had a slightly ‘soapy’ taste. They are quite thick, and must be taken with a glass or two of plain water.I cannot state if or not the herb did work, as it was only one of a number of measures recommended by the practitioner to address our digestive issues. However, we all did feel more energetic and less ‘bloated’. My Mom was most satisfied with the experience, followed by my Dad and I.This could be, as the herb seemingly works better for those with ‘Vata’-type body constitution than ‘Kapha’ and ‘Pitta’ ones. This is not to question the efficacy of the herb/product, but attributes to its ‘mucus’-like properties, which support ‘Vata’ digestion better than ‘Kapha’ digestion and ‘Pitta’ digestion.Overall, based on our collective experiences, I suggest this product be tried, but only after consultation, and under supervision, of a certified medical practitioner.

Very worth taking
This truly is a supplement worth taking. I’ve taken it daily for many years. It’s so soothing from the throat to the gut. Take about 20 minutes before eating. It heals ulcers, irritable bowl, stomach pain. However if you have had issues a long time give it time to really help. It’s also anti aging which is a nice benefit. I encourage you to read all the benefits on Google. It’s safe for children. Just open a capsule and put it in a shake or mix in applesauce it’s a sweet herb no bitterness

Boy oh boy I was constipated and bloated. I remembered I had these in the cupboard. Started on 6/11/26 following the instructions. Everything came out and then some. I dropped 7lbs from just the amount of poop that came out. My body felt a lot better. Recommend being near a toilet when taking or at least you can get to one within the next 10 maybe 15 mins max.

Love
This is great for the GLP1 people that are struggling to stay regular. I take two a day and haven’t had any constipation issues. No GI upset/cramps like senna or other laxatives. The pills are on the bigger side but that’s okay

Especially Good for Internal Inflammations.
Slippery Elm, as it’s name suggests is slippery, that is actually a “demulcent”. It sooths and covers irritated and inflamed tissues, calms the nerve endings, by coating with the ” slippery” demulcent. Thus directly giving relief to a sore throat with Lozenges, or internal areas that have been strained, or infected, such as a UTI. By giving relief to the afflicted tissues, less pain and gives the body help to balance and heal.

A great option to avoid taking Omeprazole.
I take this product instead of Omeprazole, and it works very well. I’m happy about it, since taking Omeprazole long-term isn’t safe.

I use this in place of PPI’s
I use this instead of PPI’s, because for me it’s more effective than the PPI…plus it doesn’t carry some of the same risks! I use this for myself and I use it for my dogs that sometimes will throw up that nasty green bile stuff. It mixes with their dog food and they never know it’s in there. It’s pretty much tasteless for humans because it’s in capsule form. It’s a real value for the money because I can use it for both myself and my dogs. I’ve used a few different brand and have always went back to this brand…”Nature’s Way Slippery Elm Bark” is a win for myself and my dogs.

Ok
I purchased these twice, but I’m still on the fence about these. I’m not for sure if I will buy them again or go to another brand. It was a brand called body mint, which was cornfield cap as well. I like those. I just don’t like the prices I think they want $20 or 22 three dollars a bottle with the body mint pills, body older pills or something like that but these is OK. I can’t tell you I’ve seen a big difference in my body or about taking these.
