I have very rarely used melatonin. I have heard good things about magnesium but did not really know where to begin. When these popped up, I decided to give them a try.Although they are marketed for children, I have been using them myself as an adult. I rarely take any type of medication or supplement, so I figured I would notice if they made a difference. After using them for about a week, I do feel like they have had a positive impact.I struggled with mono for over a year and have had a difficult time feeling truly rested. While I am naturally continuing to recover, I do think these have helped. At the very least, they certainly have not hurt.The taste is pleasant, and I appreciate that there are no artificial flavors or sweeteners. According to a seven-year-old, these are “good” flavored.
These are relatively small, disc shaped gummies. They smell fruity and when I asked my grandson what flavor they taste like, he just said “good.” He has tried others and some he won’t eat because he doesn’t like the flavor, so I guess that is a win for us.We are always looking for different types of melatonin to try because he has a hard time calming down and falling asleep. These work as well on him as a few other name and off brands we have tried, though nothing has worked above and beyond any other brand. They give him just a slightly mellowing calm and he does not experience any drowsiness.I like that these include magnesium because it is supposed to improve the quality/duration of sleep, but his sleep pattern is so erratic it is very hard to pin down something that actually works well for him. If I had seen a markedly different pattern to his sleep over other formulas, I would have given that fifth star. So it is probably just him, since the ingredients on these are comparable to other bottles we have tried.Amazon’s price is competitive when on sale, or if choosing subscribe and save, so I would recommend that option so as not to run out.
