Easy way to get 300 mg of magnesium
These Nature’s Truth Complete Magnesium Complex capsules were very easy to take and have replaced my current magnesium supplement. The recommended serving is two capsules and the bottle contains 30 servings, lasting about a month if you take it every day. The instructions advise that the capsules should be taken with a meal, preferably. I took this supplement both with a meal and in between meals and didn’t have any issues with either. This product contains 10 different types of magnesium and, while the bottle boasts a 1,490mg magnesium blend, the actual amount of magnesium per serving is 300 mg (the 300mg is taken from the 1,490 mg magnesium blend). I appreciate that this product is manufactured in an FDA registered facility, contains no artificial sweeteners or preservatives, and it’s free of gluten, dairy, and soy.Overall, I found this to be a good supplement, I just wish it were a little clearer about the amount of magnesium per serving on the front of the bottle and the amount of each type of magnesium on the nutrition label.

One supplement I actually remember to take 😂
I’ve been trying to stay on top of my vitamins and supplements, especially during pregnancy, so I was happy to find a magnesium complex that includes multiple forms of magnesium in one capsule. The capsules are easy to take and haven’t left an unpleasant aftertaste for me. I also appreciate that it’s vegan, non-GMO, and gluten free since many people look for those qualities when choosing supplements. What I like about this formula is that it combines magnesium glycinate, oxide, and gluconate rather than relying on a single form. It’s nice having everything together instead of needing multiple bottles cluttering up my cabinet. The bottle is straightforward, easy to store, and gives me a good supply. As a busy mom, I appreciate products that are simple to incorporate into my daily routine because the more complicated something is, the less likely I am to stick with it. 😂So far I’ve been happy with it, and it’s become one of the supplements I keep within reach so I don’t forget to take it. Between pregnancy, mom life, and everything else on my plate, anything that helps me stay consistent is a win.

Huge pills, nauseating effects
I routinely take magnesium and am sensitive to the effects. This particular formulation doesn’t work for me and has consistently caused nausea. The pills are absolutely giant as well. I’ve never seen a pill quite this big before, in fact. I wouldn’t order them again.

Thoughtful Multi-Form Magnesium Formula With Good Transparency, Though Not Essential for EveryoneThoughtful Multi-Form Magnesium Formula With Good Transparency, Though Not Essential for Everyone
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)This magnesium complex takes a more nuanced approach than many single-form magnesium supplements. Instead of relying entirely on magnesium oxide — a form commonly criticized for lower absorption and greater likelihood of digestive upset — this product combines multiple forms, including glycinate, gluconate, citrate, malate, and others. That broader formulation is more scientifically defensible than many heavily marketed magnesium products because different forms may differ in tolerability, solubility, and gastrointestinal effects. The label is refreshingly transparent about the total magnesium content and the blended forms used. There is no proprietary “mystery blend” hiding ingredient amounts behind marketing language. The capsules are clearly identified as vegan, and the formula avoids gelatin, dairy, lactose, gluten, soy, artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, and preservatives. That cleaner ingredient profile is appreciated in a supplement category often crowded with unnecessary additives. One limitation is that the product prominently uses the word “vegan,” but there does not appear to be a visible third-party vegan certification such as the Vegan Society Vegan Trademark, Certified Vegan (Vegan Action), or BeVeg. For some consumers, independent certification provides stronger assurance than manufacturer claims alone, especially regarding supply-chain practices and cross-contamination controls. The formula also appears free of added sugar, which is particularly welcome in a supplement market increasingly dominated by gummies that can resemble confectionery more than nutritional support. Many pharmacists and nutrition professionals have raised concerns about sugary gummy supplements because they may encourage overconsumption, contribute unnecessary sugar intake, and sometimes provide less stable dosing than capsules or tablets. In that respect, a straightforward capsule is arguably the more evidence-aligned format. From an evidence-based standpoint, magnesium supplementation occupies an interesting middle ground. Magnesium is genuinely essential for nerve signaling, muscle function, bone metabolism, and cardiovascular regulation. However, not everyone eating a well-planned whole-food vegan diet necessarily requires supplementation. Legumes, leafy greens, seeds, nuts, intact grains, and beans already provide meaningful magnesium naturally. A supplement may be more relevant for people with restrictive diets, gastrointestinal absorption issues, high alcohol intake, certain medication use, intense physical exertion, chronic stress, older age, or consistently low dietary intake. The inclusion of magnesium oxide slightly weakens the formulation because oxide is inexpensive and less bioavailable than glycinate or citrate forms, though it still contributes elemental magnesium. On the other hand, combining multiple forms may reduce reliance on any single source and potentially improve tolerability for some individuals. No obvious stimulant herbs or risky exotic compounds are included, which makes the product comparatively conservative and lower-risk than many modern “wellness” supplements. Still, magnesium can interact with certain medications, including some antibiotics, bisphosphonates, and thyroid medications, so spacing doses apart is prudent. Excessive magnesium intake may also cause diarrhea or gastrointestinal discomfort, especially in sensitive individuals. The product communicates a reasonably clean and restrained philosophy rather than exaggerated miracle claims. That restraint is increasingly valuable in a supplement industry where marketing language often exceeds the actual evidence. There is also some implicit environmental benefit in using capsules rather than heavily processed gummy formats with additional sweeteners, dyes, and stabilizers, though the packaging itself does not strongly emphasize sustainability or recyclability initiatives.Overall, this is a fairly thoughtful magnesium supplement with a cleaner-than-average ingredient profile, transparent labeling, vegan capsules, and a sensible multi-form approach. It does not convincingly establish that everyone needs magnesium supplementation, because many people can obtain adequate magnesium through a balanced plant-rich diet. Still, for individuals specifically seeking supplemental magnesium in capsule form, this formulation appears more careful and evidence-aware than many alternatives currently crowding the market.

Convenient Magnesium ComplexConvenient Magnesium Complex
I like that this supplement combines several forms of magnesium in a single capsule instead of requiring multiple products. It makes my routine a little simpler, especially since I already take several daily supplements. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven’t noticed any unpleasant taste or aftertaste. I also appreciate that they’re vegan, non GMO, and gluten free, which are qualities I look for when choosing supplements. The bottle is easy to store, the capsules have been consistent in size, and everything arrived well sealed. I’ve had a good experience with Nature’s Truth products, so I felt comfortable adding this one to my routine as well.

Good product, clean packaging,Good product, clean packaging,
If you are considering this product, then this review assumes you are already taking or have already decided to take a magnesium supplement. I bought this brand to replace a jar that I had bought from my local drugstore. I noticed right away that this Natures Truth Complete has 50% more magnesium in each capsule than my current brand. Interestingly, the capsules were the same size, so it’s nice that they hold more but they are not any bigger. They are smooth, white, with no taste and are very easy to swallow. The recommended daily amount is for 2 capsules, same as my current drugstore brand. So because these contain more than some of the other similar products out there, they are a better value . This Natures Truth bottle shows it contains 300mg of magnesium so you may want to compare that to your current label.I had no issues after taking them (eg, no stomach discomfort, bad taste, nothing like that). This product can definitely work for you if you are looking for a magnesium supplement.Maybe my favorite part of this product is the jar! It’s actually cute. The label slips off (like a jacket) leaving a very clean and reusable jar (see photo). Note that you don’t have to remove the label while the pills are still in there; I only did that for the photo. The label will stay on just fine until you choose to remove it.

Easy to swallow & has helped tense muscles someEasy to swallow & has helped tense muscles some
I’ve always tended to be on the groggier side, and I deal with tight muscles more often than I’d like, so I’m always on the lookout for a quality magnesium supplement. When I came across this one containing 10 different forms of magnesium, I figured it was worth trying since it offers a nice variety in one formula.I’ve been taking it consistently for about 2½ weeks now, usually either before I eat or within an hour after a meal. The capsules have no noticeable smell, they’re easy to swallow, and they’ve been very gentle on my stomach. One thing I really appreciate is that they haven’t caused any digestive issues or the “running to the bathroom” effect that some magnesium supplements can.As far as results go, I’ve noticed a slight improvement in my overall muscle tension. It’s not a dramatic change, but I do feel like my muscles are a little less tight than they were before I started taking them. I’m looking forward to seeing if those benefits continue with longer use.I also appreciate the quality standards behind this supplement. It’s made with multiple absorbable forms of magnesium, manufactured in GMP-certified facilities, non-GMO, and free of common allergens and unnecessary additives. That definitely gives me extra peace of mind about what I’m putting into my body.Overall, I think this is a solid option if you’re looking to increase your magnesium intake. Since the serving size is two capsules, I think it’s fairly priced for what you get, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and manufacturing standards. Based on my experience so far, I’d recommend giving it a try.
