I am a long-time kava user. When I am buzzing from my coffee in the morning I find that a few of these kavas take my anxiety down a notch and enable me to focus for a long time on my work. If you like the warm fuzzy feeling you get from drinking the real thing, then you will enjoy this kava’s warm fuzzies. It reminds me of the now-discontinued Source Naturals kava tablets, which had a bit higher percent of kavalactones in the capsules. Kava works as an adaptogen in me–if I am sleepy and need to wind down, it does that. If I need to focus, it does that. If I want a pleasant buzz while out with friends, it does that. I NEVER drink alcohol when I take kava. Alcohol and kava do not mix. Compared to Gaia Kava or Pharma Kava, the two other brands I used to use until discovering this one, this brand is a much better price per kavalactone.

Very Strong … Beware!
I have been using Natrol Kava Kava 200mg Capsules before I tried this. I am not sure what exactly is in the Kava-6 formula but whatever it is my body does not like it. I took less than 1 capsule (I open it up and put in cranberry juice). I cannot handle full strength in the Natrol so I read this was stronger and it was by much. When i took just over half of this and then had 3 glasses of wine I was still feeling the effects the next day. Extremely tired and my pupils were contracted (small) which means I was still under it’s influence. Yea, I know …. Your not suppose to mix this with alcohol but I never had this type of reaction on Natrol. This hits your GABA receptors hard. I decided to give it another try the following day with no alcohol and it left me tired and foggy with a little depression. So beware … I least for me, this stuff does not work the same as Natrol. I sent it back (minus 2) and they told me they would refund money. I did have to pay for postage … I am going back to Natrol …

Tried Kava for sleep, made me sleep talk
I have a hard time falling asleep at night, it takes hours. Read about Kava, tried the liquid version and it tastes horrible. bought this brand off the positive reviews. I took 5 Kava pills and sometimes also took Valerian root capsules as well. I was able to fall asleep much quicker and stay asleep. I have young kids so I can not be groggy in the morning, I woke up just fine.the only negative thing I can say is that after taking Kava I began talking in my sleep (well more like cursing my ass off). I never had before. Apparently my sleep talking is more like having a one sided yelling match around 5am. I have no memory of this so my husband recorded me. embarrassing but funny. sleep talking became such a problem that I stopped taking Kava and with in a night or 2 it stopped.

I find they are good for about 4 hours of sleep. Which works out well for taking them in the middle of the night. So no grogginess in the morning.

Worth the $, unlike many other kava supplements
One of the few kava supplements that lists kavalactone percentage. I take 4 or 5 and they’re quite relaxing. I’ve been taking kava for years (not consistently) and my liver functions fine.

Horrible Side Effects… Like Tudei Kava??
Did I get a bad batch, maybe with Tudei Kava in it, or am I just hypersensitive to this? One capsule might mildly enhance introspection, I guess… until the explosive diarrhea starts!!! It’s so bad I thought I had a stomach bug because the side effects impacted me *into the next day*, just like the liver-damaging “Tudei” Kava is known to do! I couldn’t even believe a relatively low dose of “Noble” Kava taken in the morning after food could do that to a person, so at first I was convinced my sickness was from something else. After a few days of trying this I decided to stop taking it just to cover my bases. Several days later once I was absolutely sure I didn’t have any sort of stomach bug anymore and I felt totally fine only then did I take this again and what do you know, I’m sick… again!!! I guess I wasted 20-something dollars for p0is0n pills because @maz0n won’t let me return this!!! Horrible… I don’t recall traditionally brewed Kava ever doing this to me (although that tasted revolting)!

Works great and good quality. This is much more convenient for me than having to strain kava powder traditionally. Seems for majority of the people that are rating the product lower, their body/stomach can’t digest it’s very well but I don’t happen to be getting that issue.
