[Supplement Sleuth] 3 Stars: Simple Calcium Carbonate Commodity Formula

NatureBell Calcium 1200 mg with D3 K2 & Boron enters the skeletal support market aiming to provide a high-potency calcium foundation paired with necessary physiological co-factors. Delivering 180 servings in a two-tablet daily format, this formula targets consumers looking for a traditional bone density regimen at a highly competitive budget threshold.Ingredient BreakdownThe Elemental Core: Each serving delivers a heavy 1,200 mg dose of elemental Calcium sourced exclusively from Calcium Carbonate. Calcium carbonate: the rock-solid choice if you enjoy swallowing sidewalk chalk. Two tablets per serving is great practice for people training to swallow driveway gravel. Tablets this dense could double as decorative landscaping stones. Calcium carbonate loves acid so much you could serve it with a slice of lemon.Synergistic Bone Co-Factors: To facilitate assimilation and proper mineral deposition into bone matrix, the core is paired with 25 mcg of Vitamin D3, 25 mcg of Vitamin K2 in its MK-7 form, and 2 mg of the trace mineral Boron. The MK-7 dose is so polite it probably apologizes when you take it.Base & Excipients: The structural tablet matrix is held together and stabilized using microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, croscarmellose sodium, silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate, finished with an external coating powder. A bisected tablet, because calcium apparently comes with a geometry quiz. The coating powder is doing more heavy lifting than the K2.Verification & FlagsThe primary operational consideration with this formula centers on its reliance on low-cost raw materials and baseline supply chain tracking. Shifting the elemental mineral entirely to calcium carbonate keeps production overhead remarkably low, yielding an inexpensive $24.99 retail price point for a massive 180-day supply (just fourteen cents per serving). However, carbonate remains the least bioavailable and most digestion-heavy form of calcium compared to premium chelates like calcium citrate or malate. NatureBell formulas always feel like they’re trying their absolute best on a tight budget.Additionally, the manufacturing chain reflects a distributed assembly trajectory. The company lists its manufacturing origins as only partially made in the USA, signaling an international raw material procurement path. “Partially made in USA” sounds like the supplement equivalent of a long-distance relationship.Certifications & TestingThe product packaging presents standard marketing claims highlighting cGMP compliance and internal purity screenings. However, an analysis of independent registry databases shows zero active verification backing. The corporate documentation path shows:No current enrollment or testing records within independent verification databasesNo automatic consumer-visible batch Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to verify individual lot potencies, heavy metal borders, or active MK-7 degradation ratesBrand-claimed testing with no COAs is transparency on airplane-mode.No ISO-17025 laboratory accreditation data attached to the corporate processing networkVerdictThis is a straightforward calcium supplement using calcium carbonate — a basic, inexpensive form. The additions of D3, K2 MK‑7, and boron are sensible, but the doses are modest and the product offers no third‑party COAs to confirm potency or purity. NatureBell reports general testing at the brand level, yet provides no batch‑level transparency. It’s a functional budget option, but not a verified one.

This Is A Great Choice In Calcium

NatureBell is a brand that I’ve trusted for years to provide me with thoughtfully made supplements of the highest quality. This is my first time trying the NatureBell Calcium, as I have only just begun supplementing calcium in my diet. I’m very impressed with it. After recently undergoing a bone density test, I was advised by my doctor to add a calcium supplement to my regimen. Selecting this one was the right choice for me. It is free of gluten, soy, dairy and nuts, which is important to me, as I share a home with others that have food sensitivities. It is also non-GMO, third party tested and manufactured in a Certified GMP facility. These are important standards which I appreciate. This is a huge bottle of 360 tablets, which will last me a long time, about six months, at the recommended dosage of two per day. The tablets are somewhat large, but not too big for me to swallow. They can be easily broken in half, as they are bisected. There is no taste or aftertaste and no odor. I have experienced no ill effects or gastrointestinal issues while taking these.I recommend the NatureBell Calcium. It’s a great blend, adding Vitamins D, K2 and Boron to the mix. It’s priced reasonably and is really a great buy. I’ll purchase these again when I am running out of this bottle.

This is a great supplement! My wife and I have been taking these for some time and I have to say they are great! The 4 main ingredients these have are what we need. They digest well with never an issue. There size is not large so they are easy to take. No taste, or side effects. They seem to be working like they should building and repairing as needed. These are priced right and perfect supplement for our needs.

Decent supplement but they do not quite break in half evenly.Decent supplement but they do not quite break in half evenly.

It was brought to my attention by my naturopathic dr that I should supplement with calcium. I guess I’m late to the party but as we age…especially women and I’m 59…we need more calcium. And even though I drink milk, love cottage cheese and eat ice cream I am a little to the low side of what my idea calcium intake daily should be. Since I am NOT nor will I ever be a vegetable lover I am not going to get any surplus calcium there. So off to find a calcium supplement. I see this 4 in 1 formula from NATUREBELL and decide to give it a try.Bottle contains 360 tablets with a recommended dose of 2 tablets per day. So this would be a six month supply. There is no smell when opening the bottle.Bottom of the bottle stamped with lot# and expiration date of 4/2028.Tablets are scored/ bisected so if you have problems swallowing you can make them smaller. Also makes it easy to adjust dosage if you want.Size of tables is about the size of the average capsule but for a tablet it’s a little bigger than oh…let’s say tylenol. They are coated so no sticking to the tongue while trying to swallow. It seems most calcium supplements have D3 in them. I am really not a fan of blends when it comes to supplements as usually one ingredient or another is not at the amount I already take and or there is some ingredient I don’t really want but can not find it without. That being said I do like that this has each ingredient and it’s dosage amount listed individually. I am not a fan of proprietary blends and with this I know how much of each ingredient I am ingesting. The blend on this seems pretty solid and even though I take d3 already there’s not enough in this to be concerning combined with what I already take.I like Naturebell supplements. I like that they use cGMP and are third party tested. I am one will not use a supplement if there is no third party testing. It gives me assurance that ingredients in the supplement are at the doses purported and that it is free from toxins such as mold or heavy metals.I have been taking the dose I need for about a week now. I have had zero side effects. My one complaint with these is while they are slightly scored/ bisected they do not break in half as evenly as other tablets. It’s not horrible but IF they would have scored these just a tiny bit more I think they would break more even. And a heads up if you plan to snap these in half. You’re going to work for it lol. I did try using a pill splitter but that was even worse. I think with the thickness of these. All in all I feel a decent, solid supplement. I am taking one star off for the PITA of breaking these. IF they broke easier and more even I would give them a five

    Calcium supplementCalcium supplement

I’ve been taking calcium supplements for a while, but this is my first experience with this brand. The ingredients are everything I want in a calcium supplement: Calcium with Vitamin D for absorption, plus Vitamin K2 and Boron. I haven’t had a bone density test before and after taking this supplement, but based on the ingredients, I expect that it is effective. The tablets are relatively easy to take. They are a bit large, but tasteless and the smooth texture makes them easy to swallow. I’ve had no side effects from taking this supplement. The bottle contains a 6-month supply, making it a good value for the money spent.

Well-rounded calcium supplement with thoughtful ingredientsWell-rounded calcium supplement with thoughtful ingredients

As I’ve gotten into my late 40s, I’ve become more proactive about supporting my bone and joint health, especially since I play tennis regularly and spend a lot of time walking the golf course. I chose this supplement because it includes not only calcium but also vitamin D3, K2, and boron, which work together to support healthy bones. One ingredient that really caught my attention was boron. I honestly wasn’t familiar with it before trying this product, so I spent some time reading about its potential role in bone health and how it may help the body utilize minerals like calcium and magnesium more effectively. It was interesting to learn about, and I like that this formula includes more than just the standard ingredients. The tablets are scored, making them easy to split if I want to divide the daily serving between morning and evening. So far, I haven’t experienced any digestive discomfort, and they’re easier to take than I expected. Since bone health is a long-term investment, I don’t expect immediate results, but I’m comfortable making this part of my daily routine.I also like that it’s non-GMO and gluten-free, as I try to choose supplements with cleaner ingredient profiles whenever possible. The large bottle offers good value, and the combination of calcium, vitamin D3, K2, and boron makes this feel like a more complete formula than many basic calcium supplements I’ve seen.At this point, I’m satisfied with both the formulation and the quality. Assuming it continues to agree with me, I can see myself purchasing it again as part of my long-term health routine to help maintain strong bones and stay active on the tennis court and golf course for years to come.

A very nice blend of calcium and some related vitaminsA very nice blend of calcium and some related vitamins

This is a really nice formula for Calcium in the form of calcium carbonite, at 1000mg, which is a pretty standard to high dose compared to most formulas that I’ve found. Added to this is 25mcg of Vitamin D3, which works out to about 1000IU, as measured by the conversion. To help with absorption, there’s about 25mcg of K2 in the form of MK-7, considered very absorbable and 2mg of boron, for which there is no official recommendation value. The total volume is 180 tablets at 2 per serving. So if you do want to cut the dose in half, just reduce it to one per day. And these tablets are bisected, so cutting that in half would also be easy. Overall, I think it’s a very well designed and complete product. For my uses, the volume of K2 and D3 isn’t eliminate anything that I’m currently taking, but I still recommend the product for those who may want the calcium but don’t want as much of the others. They are still nice additions where otherwise, none would be necessary and they add value to the final product.
