Not sure about this company
I had not heard of this brand Nature Target before but decided to take a chance on them based on the ingredients list and their claim to be made in the USA. I like their blend of Vitamin D with K2 and methyl-folate in an olive oil base, and I like that they use titanium dioxide to color the softgels white and thus protect the contents from light. The softgels are small and very easy to swallow, and I have not experienced side effects after using these for over a week. However, I do also have big concerns. I researched the company, and I couldn’t find much information. What I did learn is that the trademark for Nature Target is owned by Natural Target LLC which owns quite a few trademarks. They seem to sell products under a lot of different brand names, which is a red flag for me. One of their trademarks is for Dr.Foster vitamins, and that brand has some negative reviews in regards to customers getting charged for a subscription they didn’t sign up for and having trouble getting the company to respond or cancel. That’s a huge red flag. Additionally, on the Nature Target website, they state that while they manufacture their US-sold products here, they also have overseas production plants for products sold overseas. So, is this really a US based company or simply a company with a US location where they assemble all their foreign supplied ingredients? Probably the latter. I’m still trying to decide if I will finish this bottle, but I won’t be ordering more.

Easy to take
I really like these prenatal softgels. I was looking for something that combines important nutrients with DHA, and these are convenient since I only need to take one a day with a meal. The softgel is easy enough for me to swallow, and I like that I don’t have to take several different supplements to get the nutrients I’m looking for. The bottle is also a good size and should last a while. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and would buy them again.

These vitamins arrived in perfect condition in a brown plastic bottle. Properly sealed. No clumping. 120 servings of 2,000 IU of D3 plus 120 mcg K2 and 400mcg folate.expiration date 2.5 years out. This is a fairly low dose of vitamin D3, but you could always double up. At $17 for 120, that would still only be $17 for 2 months if you doubled up on them. Average size liquid capsules, easy to swallow. Distributed from the USA, but no word about where they are made. Label was easy enough to read. It advises taking the capsules with a meal, but no mention that there should be fat in that meal–as there most definitely should be.

As with any supplement you plan to take, please ensure to consult your physician prior to starting any regiment or addition of a supplement to your daily routine. That said, reviewing supplements is a really – really difficult process, given supplements react differently to each and every individual…so what takes place in my personal situation may or may not be what takes place when another individual takes the same supplement. That’s why I like to start out my review with the very basics…the packaging. While it may sound mundane or simple, I personally think it is how anyone should start to look at their supplements. If the packaging doesn’t seem like it is consistent, neat, and focused on safety, then how am I as a consumer supposed to think about the product contained within the packaging? So, here is goes. As you can see from the photos attached, this product has a plastic safety seal on the lid itself which I truly appreciate as a consumer. Once you get past the plastic lid seal, you will also notice the secondary tamper resistant seal on the bottle itself. So kudos to this company for putting a “two factor authentication” in place on their packaging. The skeptic in me always likes to see these two measures put in place for my supplements. Once opened, you can see the physical size of the capsule inside the lid. I feel most everyone would like to know exactly what to expect from a supplement’s size. As for the effects of this supplement, I can not attest it does anything more (or less) than any other D3+K2 supplement on the market, but I can attest, that I have taken others and the effects for me are the same and consistent. I take D3+K2 supplements to promote calcium absorption and of course, because my bloodwork shows I need to increase the amount of D3 in my system.I like this product very much…and while it may look a little different than other D3+K2 products on the market, I think this is a winner.

As a senior citizen with osteoporosis and getting Evenity injections to build new bone, I was told I should add Vitamin K to my daily Vitamin D and Calcium intake. Vitamin D3 helps your body absorb calcium, while Vitamin K2 guides that calcium into your bones and teeth instead of letting it build up in your blood vessels.When the Nature Target supplement was offered to me through the Vine Program, I decided to give it a try (my doctor approved them first). I appreciated the double-sealed bottle and, even more so, the small, softgel “egg” that is easy to swallow. It has a plant-based formula and is free from most allergens (soy, wheat, eggs, peanuts, etc.). Time will tell if it helps build new bone & improve bone density. I’ll know if it’s working when I get my next blood test & DEXASCAN results.I have 2 additional comments about this specific product that makes me hesitant to give it a 5-star rating. The label on the lid mentions these capsules should be refrigerated if they start clumping together. That makes me wonder if storing them in a cool, dark place is not enough to preserve the potency of the capsules. The other thing that bothers me is that these are advertised & labeled for pre- & postnatal nutritional support. I don’t believe that’s the best marketing approach. Vitamins D3 & K2 are necessary for ANYONE’S bone health, not to mention vascular health.I hesitate to “recomend” these as I am not a healthcare professional. I can only suggest you check with your doctor to see if this formula is right for you.

This is a good value for D3 K2 with Folate.Folate is important for cell growth.D3 is the easiest vitamin d supplement for us to absorb when we are not getting enough from the fortified foods we consume and sunlight.By combining Vitamin K2 with the D3 our bodies are able to absorb calcium more easily.Which helps with keeping our bones strong and helps with the growth of babies in utero.This is a good supplement. Take it with food.
