Plastic bottle
It comes in a plastic bottle and the liquid is very oily. It only lasts 15 days so for the price, it is not a good deal

Clean Ingredients, Pleasant Taste, Questionable Choice Of Bottle.
We have become increasingly skeptical of supplements that promise everything under the sun while delivering little more than marketing. Fortunately, this product takes a relatively straightforward approach. The ingredient list is refreshingly simple. The Maitake extract is alcohol-free, sugar-free, vegan, and free of unnecessary additives. The liquid format makes dosing easy, and it mixes well into water, coffee, smoothies, or other beverages without dramatically affecting flavor. The taste is surprisingly mild. There is a slight earthy mushroom character, but nothing unpleasant or overpowering. Those who dislike swallowing capsules may find this format considerably easier to incorporate into a daily routine. The 4-ounce bottle provides a reasonable amount of product for the price, and we appreciate that it is manufactured in Italy rather than appearing to be another anonymous supplement with unclear sourcing. Our primary criticisms involve execution rather than formulation. The bottle itself is plastic when glass would have been preferable. The liquid is somewhat thick due to the glycerin base, and the dropper lacks clear volume markings despite the dosage instructions referencing milliliters. Those are small issues, but they are legitimate areas for improvement. As for health benefits, we are not going to claim miraculous results after a few weeks of use. Supplements generally do not work that way. What we can say is that the product appears well made, uses clean ingredients, tastes better than expected, and integrates easily into a daily wellness routine.★★★★☆This is a four-star deal at this price point there.

Mushroom goodness
I appreciate that this maitake extract is alcohol-free and comes in an easy-to-use liquid form. The dropper makes dosing simple, and it mixes well into water or other beverages without any hassle. The ingredient profile is clean, vegan-friendly, and focused on maitake without a lot of unnecessary additives. Liquid extracts are also a convenient alternative for anyone who prefers not to take capsules. The 4-ounce bottle provides a generous supply and feels like a great value for the price. If you’re looking for an easy way to incorporate maitake mushroom into your wellness routine, this tincture is an excellent choice.

Very happy with this supplement!
I’ve been very pleased with this Maitake mushroom tincture. I specifically wanted an alcohol-free extract, so this one was exactly what I was looking for. The dropper makes it easy to measure the serving and add it to water or juice. The tincture has a mild taste compared to many herbal extracts, and the bottle arrived securely sealed with no leaks. I also appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the convenience of using a liquid extract instead of capsules.Overall, this is a great addition to my daily wellness routine. If you’re looking for an alcohol-free Maitake mushroom tincture from a brand that appears to prioritize quality, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Tasty, gentle, looking forward to seeing if it benefits my health over time
This is one of about a dozen Naturalma herbal tinctures I currently have on hand. I’ve found their collection to be gentle, easy to take and digest, and much more pleasant tasting than some tinctures because they use a glycerin base instead of alcohol. This maitake mushroom caught my attention because maitake has been studied for potential immune and metabolic health benefits, among other traditional uses. The taste is quite nice, especially compared with many mushroom extracts. It has a sweet, earthy flavor that I can only describe as candy-coated mushrooms, which sounds strange but is surprisingly pleasant. The recommended serving is 40 drops diluted in water, and each serving contains 2.3g of maitake extract.I’ve been enjoying this addition to my collection and appreciate having a mushroom extract that is easy to take without the strong alcohol taste found in many traditional tinctures.Price at time of review: $14.40

Solid Italian-Made Maitake Tincture with Clean Ingredients
As someone who’s been working with herbal supplements for years, I appreciate when manufacturers get the basics right—and Naturalma does here. This Maitake extract caught my attention because of what’s not in it as much as what is.First Impressions:You’re looking at a clean, no-nonsense formula. The bottle contains 4 fl oz (120 mL) of liquid extract, which gives you around 60 servings if you follow the recommended dose of 40 drops (2 mL). That’s actually pretty competitive pricing-wise compared to other brand-name tinctures I’ve used. What I Like:No alcohol base: Many mushroom extracts still rely on alcohol extractions, which isn’t ideal for everyone (dry mouth, recovery concerns, certain medications). This one uses vegetable glycerin instead, making it accessible to more people.Simple ingredient list:Just maitake extract, water, vegetable glycerin, and xanthan gum. No mystery additives, artificial colors, or unnecessary fillers cluttering things up.Made in Italy:Naturalma operates out of Bologna with manufacturing in Urbania. European GMP standards tend to be fairly rigorous, which adds credibility.Transparent labeling:You can clearly see the extraction ratio (1:2.5) and exact gram amount per serving (2.3g). Some brands hide behind vague “proprietary blends.”Things to Consider:Serving instructions are generous:The recommendation is 40 drops taken 1–3x daily, meaning you’d consume anywhere from 6.9g to 20.7g of extract daily depending on dosing. For chronic conditions or intensive protocols, some practitioners go higher; for maintenance, once daily works fine. Diluting in water helps minimize any residual sweetness from the glycerin.Taste profile:There’s a mild earthiness typical of mushrooms, plus subtle sweetness from the glycerin. It’s palatable without being overwhelming, but expect it tastes like botanicals—not fruit juice.Shelf life storage:Keep away from heat and light (standard for tinctures), and the box notes the batch number and expiration are printed on the bottom—always good practice for tracking.Quality Red Flags to Watch Out For:Ensure the seal arrives intact (they explicitly warn about this). If you’re sensitive to soy or corn derivatives, confirm the glycerin source with customer service (the label just says “vegetable glycerin”).Storage temperature matters for preserving enzyme activity and polysaccharide integrity over time.Bottom Line:For folks exploring adaptogenic mushrooms for immune modulation, metabolic support, or general wellness, this is a reasonably priced entry point. It lacks the fancy packaging and aggressive marketing of big-box herbal brands, but the formulation is straightforward and the Italian production suggests decent oversight. Nothing groundbreaking—but sometimes grounded is exactly what you want in supplements.I didn’t notice any negative side effects, btw, but I also can’t say I noticed any extra energy or relaxation. To be honest, that’s not what I wanted to try this for anyway.Recommended if you’re:Starting your journey into medicinal fungi, avoiding alcohol-based tinctures, supporting your digestive-immune axis during stressful seasons, seeking an affordable functional food option versus expensive capsule concentrates.

Nice source of a functional mushroom
I cycle through supplements of a range of functional mushrooms to support my overall health, particularly immunity and energy. The other sort of benefits that functional mushrooms are supposed to offer, like anti-cancer, aren’t things that I can really assess if they are working or not. I’ve tried the Naturalma brand before for other supplements with good results, so I felt comfortable trying this Maitake supplement.Naturalma supplements are alcohol free, which I like. This supplement has the Maitake extract within a mostly glycerin and water mixture, which means that it has a slightly sweet taste. For this reason, I like to put it in my tea in the morning. I found the liquid to be tan in color, and it has a umami smell like the other brands of mushroom supplements I’ve taken. I’ve added this Naturalma Maitake supplement into my rotation, and it has performed as well as my usual supplements. For anyone looking for an alcohol free maitake supplement, this is a good option.

Tastes wonderful!
I love mushrooms for all of their wonderful health benefits. Maitake specifically seems to have antioxidant effects and some anti-aging benefits. It’s always nice to have a liquid format! I especially love that I can take this type of supplement by simply adding it to my daily water, making it very easy to obtain the benefits. No extra calories, no pills to swallow, nothing much to prepare. The bottle is plastic, for what it’s worth, which I suppose makes it safer for shipping. The texture of the liquid is a little thick, so it takes some pulling to get the right amount into the dropper. I wasn’t fond of the scent of this, but I was surprised by how great it tastes! There’s no bitterness when I mix it into water. If anything, there’s a slight, pleasant sweetness. It will be very easy to add this into my wellness routine, and reap the many benefits of Maitake mushrooms.
