    Good formula, poor transparency

    I was really excited to try these because, on paper, they check a lot of boxes. I liked that they use zinc bisglycinate instead of a cheaper form of zinc, and I appreciated that they included copper, vitamin C, vitamin D3, vitamin K2, and even algae-based omega-3s all in one gummy. They’re sugar free, use monk fruit, and the blueberry flavor was actually pretty decent. It sounded like a well thought out formula for kids.The problem is I couldn’t find enough information about where these are actually made or manufactured. The description says they’re “bottled and tested in cGMP-compliant facilities,” but that’s about it. Okay…where are those facilities? I checked several other supplement brands I trust, and they either clearly state on the bottle “Made in USA,” “Made in Canada,” or make that information very easy to find on their website. I searched this company’s website and found virtually no additional manufacturing information. I even looked up the U.S address listed on both the bottle and the website because I was hopeful it would lead to a manufacturing facility, but it appears to be a residential address. That doesn’t automatically mean anything is wrong, but it certainly didn’t inspire confidence.When it comes to supplements, especially ones intended for children, I expect complete transparency about where they’re made and who manufactures them. Without that information, I just don’t feel comfortable giving them to my kids. The only reason I’m giving these two stars instead of one is because the blueberry flavor was decent. Unfortunately, I also found the gummies to have a very tough texture. I can’t recommend these.
