I’ve been advised to make strength training a part of my weight loss journey, to keep muscle, and have previously tried two other brands of creatine supplements. Each had a problem for me, either a gritty, chalky taste, or causing me great digestive discomfort. Trying this Naomi brand of Gentle Creatine felt like my last resort, and I am DELIGHTED with it! It mixes into whatever post-workout drink I choose, whether plain cool water or energy drinks, and I have even tried it in hot tea. Hot or cold, this powdered supplement seems to become invisible, no grit, no taste, no color, the perfect add-in. Best of all, I haven’t had any bloating or stomach distress so far. I like that it only has two ingredients, and the second is a probiotic, promoting gut health, a bonus. The Naomi brand has not disappointed me with other products, and this will be added to my list of Naomi winners. I don’t mind that this is derived from synthetics, because the end result for me has been so positive, and I feel I am being proactive in retaining vital muscle as I age. This product is a good value, as the large tub lasts quite a while, the price is in line with other creatine supplements, and it’s so easy and pleasant to use.

I’ve avoided creatine for years because my stomach just couldn’t handle it—the bloating and cramps were never worth the muscle gains for me. When I saw this “Gentle GI” version from NAOMI, I figured it was worth one last shot, and I’m genuinely glad I did.The addition of the Optibiome probiotic seems to actually work. I’ve been taking this daily for about two weeks, and I haven’t experienced any of that heavy, distended feeling I used to get with standard monohydrate powders. It mixes surprisingly well, too; there’s no gritty sand at the bottom of my shaker cup, and since it’s truly unflavored, it doesn’t ruin the taste of my post-workout smoothie.That said, while the product itself is great, I do wish there was a bit more transparency on the label. As others have mentioned, it doesn’t explicitly state if the tub is BPA-free or where exactly the ingredients are sourced from, which is a bit of a letdown for a “wellness” brand at this price point. Also, if you have a compromised immune system, you might want to double-check with your doctor about the specific probiotic strain used here, just to be safe.If you’ve given up on creatine because of digestive issues, this is definitely the one to try. It’s a clean, effective formula that lets you get the benefits without the bellyache.

I’ve been working on getting healthier as I approach middle age and that means adding weight lifting into my life. Creatine was a highly recommended addition but some of my initial attempts turned me off it with bloating and puffiness. However, I am absolutely the type of person who’ll touch a hot stove again to see if it’s still hot so I was game to try this one since it was different.This is my favorite of the creatine supplements I’ve tried (both gummy and powder form). It dissolves easily in water, even if I use cold water which is an obstacle for some of my other supplements. It is flavor and odorless, I can’t detect it no matter what I put it in. I haven’t noticed any graininess or weird texture either.I expected the probiotics to be a kind of a useless add on but it did seem to fix some of the issues I was having before. This has not upset my stomach at all and I’m not a bloated mess despite regular use. That alone makes it worth it for me.I don’t have any deep thoughts on natural vs synthetic. I’m not looking to be a powerlifter on anything, just trying to give myself the best shot at improving my fitness. The brand is at least reputable so I don’t worry too much about it. I think the value is good. I haven’t done a deep dive into all the options but this seems to run a little cheaper than many other powders. It’s a wide field from bulk powder in a plain bag to super boujee so while you can find cheaper, I’d say it’s on the less expensive end of the branded options.
