NAD+ has become one of those ingredients that seems to be everywhere lately, and I can understand why. NAD+ is naturally involved in cellular energy production and a whole bunch of processes inside the body. This Amenq Health formula combines NAD+ with resveratrol and uses a liposomal delivery approach, which makes the formula sound pretty impressive on paper.The part I appreciate is that this isn’t something I would expect to feel like a caffeine supplement. NAD+ isn’t an energy drink in capsule form, and I wouldn’t buy it expecting to suddenly bounce off the walls. The more reasonable expectation is supporting normal cellular processes over time rather than looking for an immediate “WOW!” feeling.Resveratrol is another interesting addition. It’s a plant polyphenol with antioxidant properties and has been studied for healthy aging and other areas, although the human research is still mixed and doesn’t justify some of the more dramatic longevity claims you see online. That’s an important distinction because “studied for healthy aging” and “slows aging” are definitely not the same thing.I also like the liposomal concept, but I wouldn’t automatically assume that the word “liposomal” means everything is absorbed dramatically better. That’s something I want to see supported by actual testing of the finished product, not just printed on the front of the bottle.Overall, I think this is an interesting supplement for someone specifically interested in NAD+ and resveratrol and who understands that this is more of a long-term wellness experiment than an instant energy booster. Great combination of a NAD+ booster with other well-chosen substances
I am interested in supplements involved in boosting NAD+, which declines in our bodies significantly with age. NAD+ precursors are the topic of much discussion in anti-aging circles. NR—nicotinamide riboside—is one such substance.This product contains NR in combination with resveratrol, quercetin and Co10. I have taken each of those as a standalone supplement. It’s nice having them together in a single product like this.The form of supplement used here is softgels. You get 120 softgels in the bottle. A daily serving is 2 softgels, so this is a two-months’ supply. The softgels are medium-sized, and, for me, easy to swallow.Here’s the breakdown of the active ingredients, and what the maker says about each one:Nictotinamide riboside (1000 mg per serving). “A direct NAD+ precursor that supports NAD+ production in cells.”Quercetin phytosome (250 mg per serving). Specific benefit not stated.Trans-resveratrol (150 mg per serving).. “A powerful antioxidant that supports cellular health and healthy aging.”Coenzyme Q10. “Supports cellular energy production and heart health.”The sales copy makes it clear that this product is aimed at middle-aged and older adults wanting to stay active and energetic. From my own experience with these ingredients, I believe it may indeed confer real benefits along that line to people such as myself (I’m in my 70s now). Of course, all of the maker’s statements about benefits carry the standard disclaimer that they have not been evaluated by the FDA.I have only been taking these for a few days, so I can’t attribute any specific effects to them yet. In any case, the benefits are likely to be cumulative over time, an overall boost in general wellness rather than anything dramatically noticeable. I’m good with that.I believe this to be a clean, straightforward product. It is sugar-, soy-, dairy-, egg-, and gluten-free, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified. Also, its active ingredients are delivered in liposomal form, which means it may be more readily absorbed than a non-liposomal supplement would be.I love the addition of trans-resveratrol, Co Q10 and quercetin to this NR supplement, and the amounts of each seem reasonable. In this case Nicotinamide Riboside the precursor to NAD+ is provided in combination with other common supplements sold to promote increased energy metabolism and slow the effects of aging.There isn’t a lot of solid scientific medical research available to show that direct oral supplementation of NAD+ helps, but Nicotinamide Riboside taken as a precursor may actually help boost mitochondrial energy metabolism within cells. This form it is considered generally safe. Two consistent caution I found doing searches on my professional medical data sights were concerns raised regarding use of these supplements by people with liver function issues, or with a history of, or currently being treated for cancer. These concerns were highlighted at the high doses present in this supplement. 250mg is considered a high dose of concern, and the 1000mg dose here combined with the claim that the liposomal form increases absorption raise particular concerns. So if eithher of the consistent cautions fits you, please consult your Dr before you start this or any other supplement. If you are generally healthy, or get the go ahead from your Dr I suggest taking only 1 gel capsule a day. More is not always better.The soft gels themselves are small and easy to swallow. No taste, after taste, or odor. They should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. The bottle comes with a tamper resistant seal around the cap and an inner seal.The other components of this supplement Quercetin, CoEnzyme Q10, and Resveratrol are all common supplements used to support energy metabolism as well as over all well being. If you are taking blood thinners consult with your Dr before taking any supplement containing Trans Resveratrol as it may interact with your medication.At the current price of $9.99 for 120 soft gels they are a good value.As with all supplements do your research. These, like most, lack NSF third party testing., or any other claim of third party testing. Only NSF testing and certification ensures that what they say is in the bottle is in there and the only things in there, ensures safe standards through toxicology testing, and ensures that supplements contain no undeclared ingredients or unsafe levels of contaminants. NSF is voluntary testing as supplements in the USA market are unregulated. So as with all supplements, buyer beware. Do your research, and check with your Dr before adding any new supplements to your health care routine.

AMENQ has several liquid drops but not many pills. The company makes their products in china and claim to be a gmp facility but I could not find this info online. Notncould I find certifications.Overall a great price though.NAD plus is something I’ve been taking for years and isn’t something that I noticed overnight. Its effects seem to take effect over longer time frames.I can’t speak much for the brand or quality hence the 4 stars but the price is great.

The NAD plus supplements has 120 soft gels and you should take 2 daily. The pills has no taste and it’s easy to swallow. I decided to get this because it has ingredients that supports skin health, energy, etc. I normally take a one a day pill and decided I need to add another supplement.This so far is working well and I have not been feeling sluggish throughout the day. I hope with long term use my skin will look better. It has amazing ingredients like Coenzyme Q10. Good value for a nice product.
