I actually like this better than the other competitive brands of mushroom coffee! It has more of a sugar free mild chocolate taste. Even though I miss my morning ritual of the taste and smell of a fresh brewed pot of coffee, this mushroom coffee has shown me some great benefits.-I don’t have a caffeine crash after a few hours and I feel as though the energy i get from this is more natural and lasting.- It doesn’t leave as harsh of a bitter coffee breath.I’m only about 5 days in so I unfortunately haven’t noticed less bloating yet.

I am on week two of drinking Ylva mushroom coffee daily, and feel ready to share this review.I’ve tried many mushroom coffee brands, from Ryze to Four Sigmatic, and a few other brands that are not as common. Ylva has a pleasant taste; you can definitely taste the vanilla and cocoa but it’s not sweet. Overall I’d rate the taste above all the others, especially because it doesn’t leave that bitter aftertaste. Some people have mentioned issues with dissolving, and while there’s always a little at the bottom of the cup I recommend following the directions of pouring hot water over the powder to help it dissolve better.I drink one cup daily in the afternoon. I don’t get the caffeine jitters, and most importantly there’s no caffeine crash.In the last two weeks I have noticeably reduced bloating. It was slow to start, but now I’m constantly catching my reflection in the mirror and am in shock. I wouldn’t contribute this to the coffee alone, I have a good diet and exercise regularly. However, my doctor and I had been discussing perimenopause (I’m only 36!) and I was desperate to find something to help get my hormones in balance. I have honestly felt so amazing since I added this to my routine.As long as you’re realistic in understanding this can’t do the work alone, I highly recommend adding it to your routine as well.

I swear by this coffee! God bless my husband for finding it! Ive been struggling with peri/PMDD symptoms for a while now, and he found this to see if it would help. I’ve been drinking it for about a month. I’ve noticed an overall difference in how I feel, less bloated, and it has saved me from experiencing a PMDD episode. Anyone who is going through perimenopause or suffers from PMDD should give this a try!

OK, so it doesn’t actually taste like coffee. But the taste is not terrible and sometimes I put sugar-free flavoring in with the almond milk when I make this drink. I can’t tell too much of a difference between this one and the last mushroom coffee I did. But it does have some caffeine and I don’t typically eat mushrooms, so it has some chance of filling a nutritional gap that I possibly have. it’s worth a try. The price was nice and I am now on my second or third month drinking it.

Creamy but strong shiitake flavor
I love all different types of mushrooms! I love mushroom coffee and have tried Ryze, Cuppa and Mud WTR which all have their different characteristics that I can overlook but this one….. has a bit too strong shiitake aftertaste and it lingered for hours. It has a mild creamy coffee taste which I love but the aftertaste is too much for me…. I honestly don’t know if I can drink any more of it but I don’t like to waste so I will finish then go about my merry way.

Tastes really good. Not like a mushroom at all.
Tastes like the international coffee in the red and white tin from the 80s. I drink it with a couple tablespoons of sweet cream creamer (same amount I put in my regular coffee) and the first sip took me back to being a child and having mom’s “fancy coffee”. My gut health is way better – but in the first few days it helped my bloating from the GI track out, if you catch my meaning. Once my personal food waste disposal system was cleaned up I started feeling great.
