Good for the lungs

I take mullein leaf in capsule, leaf, and tincture form often. It helps me cleanse my lungs. This product is very promising. The tincture tastes just like mullein is supposed to taste, it is a pleasant taste to me. I usually place it in my coffee and it mixes well. Getting two 2-oz bottles, a total of 4 oz of tincture is a great value for your money. That’s a total of 60 servings total and will last me for two months.I appreciate that the company has added marshmallow root to the tincture as marshmallow root is known for its cleansing and beneficial properties for the lungs. There is also thyme in it, a superstar that I usually take as tea for its antibacterial qualities. I have been taking these consistently for over a week and tbh it is difficult to tell what the exact effect is as it takes some time to figure that out. However, I feel my lungs are clearer as a result of taking it. I can also tell you with confidence that I have had no adverse effects from taking it.I appreciate that the bottles came in looking beautiful and safety-sealed. Something looking good and being well designed matters to me as it a sign of how much thought has been put into the product itself. Yes, I love the pale green color of the design. I also appreciate that the product is easy to use with the dropper clearly marked with the milliliters on the dropper itself, as the serving is 2 ml. Though it would have been helpful had they marked the 2 ml point and not the 2.5 ml point, but I can handle that.Please note: The amount of drops suggested in the website product description is incorrect. It says to take 2 drops and not 2 ml as the bottle says. I’d go with the amount indicated on the bottle label. So no, it’s not 2 drops, the serving is 2 ml or about 20 drops. I hope they fix that.

Kinda pricey.

Seems to be working, I’m coughing up less stuff, so it seems to be quality stuff.The taste isn’t bad at all, barely notice it in a drink.For $30 though I really don’t feel its a good value when there are plenty alternatives.

Small results?

I smoked for years then quit for 12 years. Foolishly, I gave into urges and started back last year. Within a couple months of restarting, I started experiencing the old side effects associated with smoking – congestion and occasional shortness of breath. I have a couple of friends who have smoked for decades and have had great results with Mullein supplements. So when I came across this one, I ordered it.I really appreciate that the dropper is self-dosing, the dose is correct every single time. No counting dots like others. The liquid is brown in color. Although I’ve tasted worse, this still tastes pretty bad. The quality is hard gauge. I really don’t have anything to compare it to. Does it mix well with other liquids? It tastes unpleasant but isn’t so strong that it would overpower most drinks. I put it under my tongue then take a big swig of whatever I’m drinking and that works for me. Has it been effective? Perhaps. I’ve taken it every day for a couple of months or so. I’ve not noticed anything remarkable. I have had thinner mucous in the morning. There have been days that I’ve had minimal shortness of breath than usual. Ẁas it related to this? Not easy to tell. There are two bottles for just under $40, at the time of this review. I’m not sure I’d pay this much. It doesn’t seem to be a great value with such miniature results after two months.

I enjoy herbal tinctures and was excited by the combination of ingredients in item. I have tinctures of all of these and liked the idea of taking them all at once. I like tinctures because they are quick and easy to use. These are a great size and it seemed like the double package was an excellent value.I cannot recommend this product for a number of reasons.First, the brand automatically lost a star for me for not including the full ingredient list on their listing. I have noticed that this happens when either the ingredients are dubious or the manufacturer wants to be able to change the ingredients on a whim without accountability. Thumbs down.Second, when I got them, I was very displeased to see natural flavors as an ingredient on an herbal tincture. Minus another star.It had almost no scent, which is not normal, and I immediately noticed the texture was off. Most tinctures have a thicker consistency because they use vegetable glycerin as the primary ingredient, as that is what the herb is extracted into. This lists purified water as the primary ingredient, which is obvious as soon as I tasted it. It has the consistency of water. This is doubly strange in the case of a marshmallow root tincture, which absorbs water and is super goopy and gel-like (hence why it used to be used to make marshmallows). The fact that this remains super watery means there is very little if any marshmallow root in here.It is my opinion that they are using the natural flavors (which taste terrible) to mimic the potent taste of thyme. I do not think there are extracts of any of the stated ingredients in this tincture, let alone in the stated amount. Even more concerning, the watery texture carries an increased risk of bacterial contamination.You do not want to take this tincture as it will be ineffective at the very best. Let’s not think about at worst.I looked up the brand to find that they are a newly registered California brand. However, when the product arrived, I saw that it was manufactured for the brand with no disclosure as to where it was actually manufactured or who by.There are a lot of these types of companies now as herbal supplements are a growing and high-profit market. Always do your research and be careful what you put into your body. While a tincture with these ingredients could be very beneficial, this particular one isn’t.They get the one star because i have no choice and because they did safety seal the box as well as the bottle both internally and externally.Hope this helps!
