Herbal energy supplement
Whew this stuff really works! It definitely gives you a boast of energy without needing a caffeine boast lol. So far I haven’t had any side effects at all. I use the recommended dosage amount in my water and the taste isn’t so bad. It tastes exactly like an herbal if that makes sense but it doesn’t taste bad at all. I’ve been using this supplement for almost 2 weeks now and it’s been helping me stay energized and focused especially being a mom of 2 and having to do a lot. Overall I do enjoy taking this herbal supplement for an added boast on days where I feel I need more energy to get going. I will say it does cause diarrhea if you drink it early in the morning so just be very cautious with that.

easy and effective

And without side effects. Apart from not wanting to snack, which is something I appreciate. It’s a good value for the money, uses quality, well chosen ingredients and even tastes good. Tastes exactly like something with this many roots in it
This stuff is intensely herbal. There is no disguising it. I tried adding it to sparkling water once and somehow made both things worse.I’ve mostly been taking it at night when I’ve had one of those mentally fried workdays where my brain still feels “on” at midnight. I can’t say it flips some magical switch, but I do feel like it helps me settle down a bit instead of doomscrolling for another hour.The dropper is a little messy though. Mine tends to collect liquid around the rim after pouring, so I have to wipe the bottle down or it gets sticky. Feels very much like an old-school herbal tincture experience.

I’ve been using Mountain Meadow products for over a decade. When I was trying to get pregnant and not succeeding, my doctor told me my hormones were out of balance and the only thing they could do to help balance them was put me on birth control. *Eye roll* I was trying to get pregnant!So, that launched my years-long pursuit of fixing my own body. This led me to Mountain Meadow Herbs. I started their hormone balancing tinctures and was pregnant in 3 months!I took their Gentle Birth formula with my pregnancies (all successful VBACs), I took Mom’s LiverGlow when my liver was stressed. And I am now ordering their herbal calcium supplement for my child who is healing from a broken toe. Their tinctures are effective and gentle on the body. Unlike pharmaceutical products, they don’t come with a myriad of negative side effects! I haven’t noticed side effects at all.Unfortunately I am breastfeeding and didn’t realize this adrenal aid tincture is not suitable for nursing moms, but I plan to use it as soon as I’m able.

Conflicting ingredient lists and a proprietary blend hiding key details
I have generally liked Mountain Meadow products but this one raises enough concerns that I would look elsewhere until they address them.First, the listing itself has a problem. There are two photos showing ingredient panels and they are significantly different from each other. One formula contains mushrooms, the other is herb-based. The version I received is the ashwagandha and mushroom formula. If you are shopping based on the listing photos, you may not know which one you are getting, and that is a huge transparency issue right out of the gate.Beyond that, the formula itself is a proprietary blend, which means the individual ingredient amounts are hidden. For an adrenal support product containing multiple active botanicals, that matters. Without knowing how much of each ingredient is included, there is no way to evaluate whether any of them are present at a clinically meaningful dose or just in token amounts. 1.25 mL dosage at 1-3 times a day falls substantially below the amounts in mL needed of each of the individual supplements (most need at least 2-3 mL a day to be effective)!There is also no extraction ratio or standardization information provided, so you cannot assess potency. And notably, the listing does not specify whether the Fo-Ti used is raw or processed. That is not a minor omission. Raw Fo-Ti has well documented hepatotoxicity concerns and the processed form is considerably safer. Buyers deserve to know which one they are getting.Good concept and I want to like this brand, but the lack of transparency here makes it difficult to recommend with confidence.

They follow GMP guidelines and it is made right here in Montana in the United States.Mountain Meadow herbs is now in my top 10. The other two products I have, I had great results with.So far I’ve only had two doses of this lovely tincture, and though I do feel very energetic and well rested today, I’m not sure if it’s from the tincture alone. I’m certain it has had some measure of positive effect though.I love supporting small companies, especially those with a level of integrity that Mountain Meadow Herbs exhibits.Happy to continue to support them and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family, (and I would recommend the blog on their website-very informative and educational).
