Better than expected!
After a recent hospitalization for kidney stones and our dive into Kidney health, Moonstone was a recommended brand to us. We opted to give it a try when we were told my husband had 17 stones, and had only passed a few. This Moonstone Uric Acid Cleanse is a larger pill than expected, which tends to be difficult for my husband, however, with this pill went down with ease, and had no noticeable aftertaste, or side effects. So far it has proven effective, but we will come back as time gives us the overall review of this product. For us, the price point is worth the price! Highly Recommended!

Good Uric Acid cleanse with healthy ingredients..
This Uric acid cleanse/kidney detox/joint support by Moonstone is a high quality formulation with cherry powder sourced from another well known local company.All the ingredients are very useful for combating Uric Acid buildup that affects kidneys and joints. I do appreciate having a capsule form to take instead of high calorie cherry juices or having to eat a bunch of celery to get the relief this compound can aid with. It is four capsules a day though, which doesn’t make it cost effective enough for me to use for a daily supplement but I will use it for days I know I ate too much meat and am feeling it in my joints. The four capsules, twice daily, will help provide a good flush with lots of bottled spring water.I was impressed reading about Moonstone’s newer products for renal health and will be looking into those as well.

It can’t perform Miracles.
Let me start by qualifying that 3-stars is neutral in my opinion. Not good. Not bad. I think this is fair. I have exercised most of my life. I simply enjoy the good feeling and all of the benefits that come with it. A couple times exercise has led to a doctor’s appointment. There is a learning curve, I guess. One time I did sit-ups on the bench with the weighted barbell on my chest. Yikes! What was I thinking. Lol. This led to pulling a muscle in the back of my neck. The doctor said take some Ibuprofen and knock of that silliness. There is a couple more I won’t mention to avoid further embarrassment. BUT – this brings up Moonstone joint support. I was doing body weight squats every day. As I age, I want to prevent issues. Have you ever squatted down to do something and was surprised how difficult it was to stand back up?!? So, I thought squats was the answer to that nonsense. Which would have been fine, but there again form is everything. I was experiencing knee pain (joint) simply going up the stairs. To the point that the doctor recommended physical therapy. The therapist did an evaluation and said show me this squat exercise. He then said, ‘knock off that silliness’. Again! I was simply doing the exercise with bad form. But before this, I thought this supplement was the answer to my knee pain. I took it as directed for about 5 weeks. With no result. And that is probably because it can’t fix what I ‘broke’. I guess the proof is that after the physical therapist showed me the correct form – the pain went away. He was actually confident my poor exercise form was the cause of this pain. And it looks like he was right. No more knee pain on the stairs.Like I mentioned, I exercise and try to eat with good nutrition in mind. AND I take supplements to ‘supplement’ that nutrition. In this case I apparently would not benefit from these Moonstone joint support. I believe in supplements but there is only so much they can do. So, reviewing these is difficult. It is worth mentioning that I did not experience any side effects or undesirable effects. That might be important to note. I stopped taking these simply because I don’t think I will benefit from them. I love a supplement in powder form. I think they are better absorbed by the body. These powder capsules are easy to swallow. There was no aftertaste or stomach upset. I really like that they are made in the USA.
