180 gelatin capsules, each 1 gm. ascorbic acid. No other ingredients. 3rd party tested, NSF GMP made
This is just the basic vitamin C, that most people who use any supplements use. It’s gelatin capsules of 1 gm. of pure ascorbic acid, each. That’s all. And, that’s all you need.Vitamin C is probably the most widely used supplement. It’s used as an antioxidant. It is used to produce collagen, an abundant type of protein in the body. Present in skin, bones, blood vessels and more. And, vitamin C is often used, because it supports the immune system. There are different types of vitamin C supplements. Some are fancier, like mineral ascorbates. Where the vitamin C is bonded to a mineral. It buffers the acidity of the vitamin C, provides a little of the mineral, and greatly increases the price. I just take ascorbic acid with food, although I have no problem with it by itself. There are 180 capsules, containing 1 gm. of ascorbic acid each. I like the amount, 1 gm. And, I like the size. For me, buying a larger size of vitamin C just makes sense. I like getting it in capsules. With capsules, you know you are getting the benefit of all of it. While with tablets, they have to be able to fully break down in your digestive system. And, unlike loose crystals, it doesn’t affect your tooth enamel. There’s no fillers or anything else. Its third party tested, and produced in am NSF certified GMP facility. NSF is an independent organization, with recognized, high quality standards. This supplement is perfect for my vitamin C needs. It contains 1 gm. per capsule. My preferred amount. There are 180 capsules. And, it’s third party tested, with NSF certified GMP production, so I know it’s a high quality supplement. And a good choice for a vitamin C supplement

easy to swallow, and sometimes you need the higher dose
These Vitamin C capsules were a good replacement when we ran out. There were no digestive or allergic problems with them. The capsules are easier to take than the long hard tablets – less throat puckering. It’s a large bottle, and almost full. The capsules ends stay together strongly, and would not separate when pulled (had to use scissors). When mixed with baking soda and water, they clearly reacted, so definitely acidic.Previous tests had shown our tolerance to large doses of Vit C, so during an allergic reaction, I tried 6 of these at one time. Again, no stomach upset, and it seemed to speed up clearing out the allergic reaction without reaching for antihistamines. Daily use of 1/day also went fine. Everyone’s needed levels vary from the average USDA amount, and the body doesn’t store this, so do your own tests. This amount will cover a wide range, and if you need more to feel better, just take another one. Anyone who has eaten too much fruit at one sitting knows what too much feels like. If you don’t feel like that at one, you might need two or more. For general wellness, we spread them out during the day. For acute problems, a large flush helps us.

Clean, limited ingredients
I chose this vitamin C because it doesn’t have a bunch of unnecessary ingredients and fillers… straight vitamin C as ascorbic acid and a gelatin capsule.

Straightforward Vitamin C From a Brand I Can Actually Verify
This is exactly what I want from a basic supplement: **1,000 mg of vitamin C per capsule, without a laundry list of unnecessary extras.** The only other listed ingredient is the gelatin capsule. It’s simple, straightforward, and easy to incorporate into my regular supplement routine.I also appreciate that there is some actual transparency behind this brand. ML Naturals identifies itself as a brand of My Life Inc., and I was able to independently find an established online presence for the company and its supplement products rather than having to rely solely on claims printed on an Amazon listing. ([ML Naturals Korea][1]) The product information also states that it is manufactured in the USA in an NSF cGMP-certified facility and that batches are third-party tested. ([BeesActive Australia][2])Obviously I can’t personally laboratory-test a capsule and verify its potency, but compared with some of the difficult-to-trace supplement brands sold online, I feel considerably better about the quality and transparency here. It’s a good, no-frills vitamin C supplement that gives me exactly what I was looking for.

It’s vitamin cIt’s vitamin c
It’s just in a capsule. Most vitamin c is in a tablet. It takes longer to absorb. This is uncompressed so it is a bit bigger. Once the shell dissolves it should absorb faster. One benefit is that it doesn’t taste like your normal orange flavored tablet. No taste going down.

1000mg per capsule!1000mg per capsule!
Vitamin C is just one of those supplements I like to always keep on hand. And like to keep multiple forms of it. I like to have bulk ascorbic acid (or sodium ascorbate) powder that I can add to like a bottle of juice that can be sipped on slowly. But for ease and convenience, I like to have some ascorbic acid capsules on hand. I prefer gel caps to like tablets because I find them easier to swallow and they usually don’t have additives. One of these capsules is 1000 mg which is awesome! It makes dosing very easy. And they are big but not too big.And there’s nothing added to these either. It’s just ascorbic acid and gelatin capsule. No added ingredients which I appreciate.I’ve never heard of this company, but apparently they are a Canadian owned company and their products are made in Canada. They did include an address and a website on the bottle which I appreciate. Their website has more company info. They also say that their lab tested, which I also appreciate.I can’t think of any reason not to recommend this supplement.

Nice ProductNice Product
This is an easy to take vitamin C pill. It’s a fairly strong dosage, but gentle on the stomach and I haven’t experienced any negative side effects. It’s easy to take, I take one with lunch and well, it’s not tiny, it is smaller than some other vitamin C pills I’ve taken in the past.I love that it comes from a cGMP certified facility, is third-party tested, is non-GMO, has no artificial junk in it, and is manufactured in the United States.Overall, I think this is a great budget, friendly option for people who want to take vitamin C.
