    Great for pescatarians — gelatin is not from land animals!

    I alwasy dread fishy burps. Nothing says “healthy lifestyle” quite like tasting a fish dinner six hours after taking a capsule. Thankfully, I have not had that problem with these! What caught my attention is that this is specifically made from wild Alaskan sockeye salmon, rather than generic fish oil. Sockeye naturally contains astaxanthin, and each 3-softgel serving provides 678 mg of total omega-3s, including 261 mg EPA and 192 mg DHA, along with vitamin A, vitamin D, and 40.2 mcg of astaxanthin. I also really appreciate the company’s transparency. They test every batch for oxidation markers like peroxide value, anisidine value, and TOTOX, as well as a wide range of marine contaminants. That gives me considerably more confidence than a supplement that simply says “tested for purity.” The softgels are easy to swallow, and I’ve had no stomach discomfort. The omega-3 amount is a little lower than what I personally prefer, so I need several capsules to reach my usual intake. They aren’t the cheapest option, but for me, the quality, testing, and lack of fishy aftertaste make them worth considering. NOTE: these ARE pescatarian, as they use FISH gelatin!

    It’s worth it, to me, to know what you’re buying

    This product is “YES”….across the board.Test results. 1 gram per pill. Easy to swallow. Clean and high quality. Smell like fish! I do get some fish taste after I take them but so what. If you’re worried about something like that then maybe keep pounding M&Ms and see how far that gets you. Seriously, at some point you need to let go of your childhood ideals.This a brand making a name for themselves and for the time being has done all the right things. Trust is built through the BIG things in this market–quality, testing, and consistency.Omegas are an essential part of any health routine. Because they work. Raises HDL. This product boasts my daily dose and the recommended serving size so that’s a win. Other ingredients are benign and included in high quality supplements across the market.Value is subjective. Hard to find offerings that offer this kind of transparency. It’s worth it, to me, to know what you’re buying.

    High Quality Fish Oil Supplement

    When it comes to supplements, especially fish oil, I’m of the opinion, “You get what you pay for.” Most definitely you should not be pennywise with anything ingested into your body. There are a lot of fish oil products on the market, and one might be tempted to sort the product “low to high” and pick the least expensive of the lot. I don’t agree with this. This MK gives you a quality supplement and generous 90 gel caps, that is tested for heavy metals, responsibly harvested, its excellent source clearly stated, and packaged in shaded glass with care. Given all this, this fish oil supplement is a bargain. Highly recommended.

    I’ve been looking for a good quality omega-3 supplement, and I really like what sets this one apart from the typical fish oil supplements. The fact that this is specifically made from wild Alaskan sockeye salmon, rather than just being labeled as generic “wild-caught salmon oil,” was one of the things that caught my attention. Sockeye is naturally rich in astaxanthin, which is responsible for that deep red color in the fish and provides antioxidant properties.I also really appreciate how transparent the company is about testing. Each serving of 3 softgels provides 261 mg of EPA, 192 mg of DHA, and 678 mg of total omega-3s. It also naturally provides vitamin A and vitamin D, which I think is a nice bonus compared with many standard fish oil products. The inclusion of 40.2 mcg of astaxanthin is another feature I specifically liked.One of the biggest reasons I chose this particular product is the attention to freshness and purity.     Less fishy burps!

    I’ve been taking fish oils for so long I honestly can’t tell you how “effective” these are compared to others. I really think it’s one of those supplements that take more than a single bottle to really start seeing the effects of. The only super noticeable effect I’ve seen with fish oils is in my hair. After a couple months of consistent fish oil supplements I (& others as I end up getting compliments) notice my hair getting shinier, less dry & just overall healthier. And when I stop taking them for awhile, my hair gets dry & dull again.How I CAN compare them to others, though is in size, origin & the burps!!! For some reason, these salmon oils have a less fishy taste IF I get fish burps from them at all. So far, I’ve only got them ONCE with these! 🤯 Granted, I only take 1 @ a time 3x a day rather than all 3 at once, bc they’re so huge. Size wise, they’re comparable to other fish oils capsules. They’re all horse size pills. The ones I’ve found that aren’t you need to take like 10 of & they’re less for effective, so I’ve just learned to tolerate the large ones. They’re smooth enough to not have problems going down if I do one at a time.I love that these are from wild harvested salmon rather than farm raised! Way better nutrients & not GMO garbage. 😃 They’re also made expiration date isn’t until the end of 2028, so I’ve got plenty of time to use the productThey’re also lab tested, made in the USA 🇺🇸 AND American OWNED!!! I always google brands AND they’re owners, bc despite “Made in the USA” claims many brands are still Chinese owned! According to my research, MK Supplements is owned by an American family in GA who focus on QUALITY supplements. They have a blog for their small homestead in GA, & I love being able to see the the family & lifestyle I’m supporting with giving my money to a company. I was so impressed with everything I saw I’m currently browsing their website for other supplements & will be switching some of my current supplements from BIGGGG name brands to this smaller, family owned business that puts quality over mass production. 😁

    Good quality, crazy expensive

    I have been taking fish oil for some time as part of my supplement routine. I was impressed by the MK Supplements offering. It comes in a premium recyclable glass bottle with metal cap. Freshness seal was in place and softgels weren’t stuck together. Odor is minimal and it doesn’t give me strong fish burps like some other formulas. Overall, its a great quality product, but where it suffers is in value. At $0.43 PER SOFTGEL it is 7x as expensive as my usual fish oil, and 2-4x as expensive as other salmon oils. Is this brand worth that premium? Thats up to you
