Only need to take one pill per day
I ordered these Ceylon Cinnamon Supplements because it had the added ingredients of MCT Oil and Berberine. I wanted a way to ingest some MCT Oil without having to add a liquid to my morning coffee. I really never cared for the oil slick that seemed to develop of the surface of my black coffee when I used MCT or coconut oil. I have taken berberine supplements in the past to assist with weight loss as it is purported to boost metabolism. Ceylon Cinnamon is supposed to reduce inflammation and help maintain healthy glucose metabolism. This information on the bag seems to indicate that there is a highly concentrated form of the cinnamon extract within the pills. With this combination I am hoping that the MCT oil combined with the Ceylon Cinnamon will help to regulate my appetite/glucose levels, so I don’t get sugar cravings. I am currently on an intermittent fasting schedule and need all the help that I can get to quell hunger and sugar cravings. This supplement is very easy to swallow, and the dose is only one per day and I have had no ill effects or stomach issues. The bag indicates the manufacture date and the supplements that I received were very fresh. The information on the bag does provide some certification information regarding quality assurance. This bag contains 120 pills and at a dose of one per day this is very reasonably priced for a 4-month supply.

I have been taking cinnamon for several years now to help regulate my blood sugar. I really like this cinnamon for several reasons. First, it’s a good value for the price. The dosage is only one pill per day, so you are getting a one hundred and twenty day supply in this pack. Second, it is ceylon, cinnamon, which is the real cinnamon, and I like that. If you are diabetic, and you are thinking about starting cinnamon as a supplement, please check with your provider before you do this. Although it is usually harmless, it may not be the right thing for you.

Great ingredients that work And no cinnamon cough!
It’s really hard to review a supplement within the time frame allowed, because some of them take a while to start working. But here’s what I know: blood sugar IMPROVED. It is easy to digest and I didnt experience any side effects. The capsules give enough time for the cinnamon to work its way out of the stomach, which is ideal. Otherwise, holy cow. Have you ever coughed up a cloud of cinnamon? Not an experience I’d wish on everyone. With Berberine and MCT Oil, the ingredients here are just what I wanted for glucose improvement and management. I’m not diabetic, but lower sugar is better sugar, so this is a keeper.

There are many different kinds of cinnamon out there and Ceylon , by far, has the least negative impact on health. There’s an ingredient in all cinnamon called coumarin. Humans shouldn’t have more than 5-6mg/day, depending upon your body weight. Ceylon cinnamon has 0.004% coumarin where other cinnamons contain much more. The reason this is important, is bc when you’re turning cinnamon into a supplement for its health benefits, unless it’s labeled “Ceylon Cinnamon”, you may be getting a different kind of cheaper, more available cinnamon, and with the average supplement dose being from 600mg-1200mg, you may be going over the threshold of your coumarin intake, which could have negative effects on the liver and kidneys. That’s why you’re seeing more and more Ceylon cinnamon! That’s exactly what this supplement is!! The best kind of cinnamon available! There is also berberine extract in these capsules, which helps keep your hunger at bay, and along with the Ceylon cinnamon extract, you’ll eat less and your metabolism improves, which then lowers your overall BMI. Or at least those are the claims they make. I haven’t taken this supplement long enough to see how effective it can actually be, but can say that the gelcaps are easy to swallow, have no taste or aftertaste, and I had no negative side effects. I CAN safely say that in the short time I e been taking this supplement, I haven’t been as hungry as I typically am. I see that as a successful and positive impact! I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to lower their overall BMI, by taking these capsules along with a healthy diet and exercise. These are chalk full of antioxidants and phenols as well, which promote healthy aging!! Give a try!! I’m very glad I got the chance to!! 5⭐️‼️

Fast acting ceylon cinnamon
I’ve used ceylon cinnamon supplements for a few years, usually as a standard powdered capsules, so I thought I’d try a liquid gel capsule to see if there’s any appreciable difference. These are made with berberine and mct (coconut) oil in addition to the ceylon cinnamon.I take it mainly as a ‘metabolism support’ which, for me, basically means it helps me feel full when I get snack cravings – particularly late at night. I take it a couple hours after dinner otherwise I’d snack until bedtime. So if you have the self control to not eat if you’re not feeling hungry, then ceylon cinnamon might help. Berberine has other metabolism and digestive effects (do not take while pregnant, serious fetal harm possible). For me, these seem to take effect a bit faster than the ones I’d used previously, but they also seem to stop me up a bit which I can only presume is related to the berberine. I’d probably buy these again if they were just the cinnamon because the faster acting gelcaps are nice, but I didn’t seem to respond well to the berberine. 3.5*

I started taking cinnamon after doing some research and found that there are two kinds of cinnamon. Ceylon is the one that is more recommended for supplementation. I have also found that it is best taken with some kind of fat. So that is what I was looking for with this. This particular supplement has the Ceylon Cinnamon as well as the MCT oil to go along with it. I am glad they specifically picked MCT oil because I have found it to be very compatible with my keto diet. The Ceylon is a 20:1 extract and provides 600 mg per softgel. Each softgel also contains 200 mg of berberine. This is more of a starting dose, so I take a separate supplement of berberine in addition to it. I just take this additional berberine into consideration when taking the others. I like buying larger quantities of supplements so I don’t have to buy them every month so this 120 count supply is very convenient. I’m not in general a fan of supplements in bags, but I appreciate the lower ecological footprint of using bags and will just use it to refill a previous container. Overall this works for me and fits well into my supplement regimen.

There are 120 soft gels in the bag. The bag is resealable. I like that it comes with berberine, which I heard is good for lowering glucose levels. More importantly, it may help lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and triglycerides. I also like that you only need to take 1 per day. The gel is not small, but I had no difficulty taking it. The gel is dark brown in color.Regarding the price, it is listed at $30 per package for 120 soft gels. Assuming you take it as instructed, 1 per day, that is around $0.25 per day, which is a reasonable price but I would say it provides more value if listed as its original price which was $20..
