Delicious Comprehensive Magnesium Complex Supplement
I don’t know where to start on why I like Micro Ingredients’ Magnesium Complex. I’ll start with I like the taste. If I can’t tolerate the taste of a drink it doesn’t matter what the other plusses are. I not only like the taste, but it is easy to mix up and easy going down. It tastes like lemonade – great. Although I wasn’t familiar with the brand, what immediately caught my attention was the fact that it’s third party tested and made in a clean Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility. I don’t see that in many products. It’s also GMO free, so no genetically modified ingredients. I have been taking magnesium glycinate capsules at night for years. Recently I am finding it a bit difficult getting pills and capsules down. So far I’ve been able to swallow, but I have had episodes of wondering if the pill was stuck and not going to go down. It’s a bit disconcerting. No issues swallowing liquids (yet, anyway), so this checks another box – easy to get down. Now to the ingredients – so many different magnesiums, not just the magnesium glycinate that I’ve been taking regularly at bedtime for years. Each magnesium has different properties and I’m excited that I can get them all in this product – citrate, malate, taurate, carbonate, aspartate and orotate. Add to that there’s ashwagandha and L-Theanine that I think are helpful for good health. So many ingredients in one place in a tasty, easy to get down drink. I’m still getting used to the new routine of mixing it up and drinking it before bedtime, but that’s a routine issue that will solve itself over time. I am very impressed with this product and look forward to it become an everyday addition to my life. Follow the suggestion to start with one scoop (provided) and gradually work your way up to two scoops. Last but not least, it’s sugar-free and uses stevia for a sweetener.

Hello Fellow Amazon Users.I’d been using several Micro Ingredients products before, so when I saw they released a 12-in-1 Magnesium Complex, I had to give it a try. I’ve heard a lot about the benefits of magnesium as part of a healthy nighttime routine, and since I’m a very light sleeper who tends to wake up several times throughout the night, I was excited to see how this would fit into my evening routine. The first thing I noticed after opening the bag was the aroma. It reminded me of a classic lemon-lime sports drink, which was a pleasant surprise. Even better, the lemonade flavor tastes fantastic. It’s refreshing, not overly sweet, doesn’t have a chemical taste, and leaves no unpleasant aftertaste. Nice Blend, if a bit opaque, 2.5 month supply
Magnesium is critical to so many health processes, and so often deficient, especially as we stretch through adulthood, and sacrifice healthy eating due to busy lives. My doctor recommended I supplement and my wife suffers leg cramps, a common problem with magnesium deficiency. I’ve tried many kinds and forms of magnesium supplements in the past, and this product, with 420 mg of elemental magnesium, the full daily recommended allowance, but drawn from 8 different forms of magnesium seeme dinteresting. Each type of magnesium has a slightly different mechanism affecting the body with subtle differences. I don’t like “proprietary blends” like this one for situations where you want to fine tune exactly what your magnesium does for you, but it is a healthy dose of basic magnesium.The resealable package works well as far as the zipper packs do. Sometimes they get difficult or fail with use, especially as the powder gets into the zipper pathway, but that hasn’t happened yet. The included scoop is handy and the product seems to blend pretty well, little sediment or chunkiness after mixing in the directed proportions, 1 scoop per 6 ounces of water. A dose is double that at 2 scoops in 12 ounces, and leaves you with a 2 and a half month supply for one person. Very good.The odor and taste are very good, lemony as promised. Not at all difficult to drink. Neither of us experienced and aftertaste, or negative digestive effects while taking it. I found it as effective as other products I’ve tried. It seems to give me a little energy lift afterward.There was an expiration date of just under 2 years, so I think the product was newly made, not stale, slow moving through the supply chain. The price is quite reasonable for what you get, a decent load of magnesium, a few extra “goodies” and several months of product.

Delicious Way to Take Magnesium!
I’m not usually a fan of magnesium powders, especially ones flavored with Stevia, but this one is exceptional! I am so impressed at how delicious this drink is! AND that it contains so many things are good for you.To begin, you get 3200 mg of Magnesium complex — which has 8 different varieties of magnesium. Also included is Ashwaganda, L-Theanine, Saffron and Gotu Kola. Citric and Malic acid along with a natural lemon flavor and aforementioned Stevia leaf extract is also included. Personally, I most always taste an odd aftertaste with Stevia — but NOT with this drink. It is really good. In fact I’d be tempted to drink it as a lemonade even if it didn’t have magnesium in it!I do take magnesium supplements, usually at night for restless leg and to sleep better. I stopped taking them and took this instead. Interestingly, I do find that it is best to take this mid-afternoon rather than before bed. I get a little energy from this drink and taking it before bed it not particularly helpful. We all have different bodies that react in different ways with supplements, so you may experience something else, but I did find this to be a bit odd.That said, I did not have any restless leg after taking this and am able to sleep nearly 8 hours uninterrupted.Suggested serving size is two scoops (a small scoop is included in the bag) but it is suggested that you start with one scoop. This has been just fine for me. That said, I should get about 150 servings from the bag. If you take the suggested two scoops, you will get 75 servings. Simply add the scoop of powder to water and stir. I use a small wire whisk and have found the powder to pretty much disappear with just 30 seconds of whisking.Overall I REALLY like this powder and do recommend it. The price seems fair for the quality of the powder (and all 8 forms of magnesium!) and that it can last from 2.5 to 5 months if you take it daily. The only very small critique I have is that the bag does not always seal well. This happens with fine powder — if a few grains get caught in the plastic ‘zipper’ it won’t seal well. I transferred everything to a glass jar and it’s all good.Overall, Excellent product that I would highly recommend!

Complete Labeling and About 2 Years Until Expiration
I generally limit my supplement reviews to the labeling, packaging, and other details that I can directly verify. I cannot determine from a short period of use whether a magnesium supplement produces any particular health benefit, so I focused on whether the company provides the basic information I expect to find on the bottle.The bottle I received includes both a lot number and an expiration date. The expiration date was approximately 2 years from the date I received it, providing plenty of time to use the supplement under normal circumstances. Including a clearly marked lot number is also important because it connects the bottle to a particular production batch if a quality issue or recall ever needs to be investigated.The Supplement Facts panel is present and provides the serving and formulation information needed to understand what the product contains. I appreciate having this information directly on the bottle rather than needing to search through an online listing that could later change.The label also clearly identifies the company that distributes the supplement. It provides a full street address, phone number, website, and email address. That is a more complete set of contact information than I sometimes see on supplements, and it gives customers several practical ways to reach the company with a question or concern. There is also a QR code that can be used to find or follow the brand online.The bottle and outer presentation arrived looking good, and I did not notice any obvious problems with the packaging. Overall, this magnesium complex meets my expectations for basic supplement labeling. It includes traceability information, an expiration date with approximately 2 years remaining, a readable Supplement Facts panel, distributor identification, and several forms of company contact information. I am not making any claims regarding effectiveness, but the packaging and labeling appear complete and professionally presented.

One negative to share. My powder did not come with a scoop. Fortunately, I have a few bags of their other magnesium powder and the serving size is identical, so I am able to use it. I am including a video to show i had dumped the powder into a bowl to make sure there was no scoop included. The video also shows how fine the powder is.I really like this brand and I love the magnesium glycinate lemonade powder they have. This magnesium complex powder is tasty, but not as flavorful as the magnesium glycinate. And it also doesn’t blend as easily as the other product. However, this blend has much more to it and I appreciate that this does not contain magnesium oxide like many other brands.It is calming and a nice way to end your day.I love that this is 3rd party tested, is manufactured in a GMP facility, and they have several ways to make contact and connect with them through 5 different social media channels. They share a 1-800 # on the package & a website.I love this company. Their accountability and transparency makes them a trust worthy brand.Current price is $29.99 and contains 75 servings (using 2 scoops). If you are using only one scoop (which is what I do at times), this would last you 150 days! That would make this an exceptional value! I highly recommend.

100% Magnesium DV, but only on paper; too sweet and poorly soluble
I ordered Magnesium Complex 12-in-1 Powder, Sugar Free, Lemonade Flavor from the Micro Ingredients Store, which specializes in supplements. A drink made from 2 scoops of the white powder should, in theory, provide 420 mg of elemental magnesium—100% of the Daily Value. I have not seen such a potent magnesium supplement yet, so I was curious and decided to try it.Unfortunately, the 100% potency is only on paper. One of the magnesium components—magnesium carbonate—has a high elemental magnesium content. Unfortunately, this is an inorganic form of magnesium and, similar to magnesium oxide, has relatively poor absorption by the body. Therefore, the effective amount of absorbed magnesium would be below 100% DV. The magnesium carbonate content in the magnesium complex is not specified, so I cannot calculate the actual magnesium yield. Beyond magnesium, it does not provide other major electrolytes or trace mineralsTwo scoops of the powder in a large glass of cold water produce a cloudy, milky blend. There is some insoluble sediment at the bottom of the glass. The drink has a natural lemon flavor but is too sweet for me. It is sweetened with a blend of allulose and stevia, so its impact on glucose and insulin should be very low.Overall, I question how meaningful the advertised “12-in-1” formulation is, since the individual magnesium amounts are undisclosed and their chemical forms can change during dissolution and digestion.
