Solid formula from a great brand
This is a solid product that combines a lot of valuable ingredients together, making it a solid choice for people who are looking for a combination of benefits from these ingredients. I am a big fan of this brand and trust that any product I buy from them is going to be legitimate. I did end up taking this for about a week, but ultimately decided on a different combination of products that were a slightly better fit for me personally. But that doesn’t say anything negative about the product itself. I especially like that, it helps people with neuropathy since I happen to know a couple of people with that issue and have already recommended that they give this a try. Like other reviewers, I don’t love the three pills, but I do take a ton of supplements so if it were one of only a couple things that I’m taking, it wouldn’t bother me at all. A great product
These alpha lipoic acid + advanced 5-in-1 vegetarian capsules are amazing. I ordered these capsules for the biotin benefits and to hopefully get a little bit more energy throughout the day. They are odorless and there is no terrible taste when swallowed. I like that the capsule is not too large in size as well. They only inconvenient part is that you need to take them three times a day instead of twice. It’s hard to remember the middle capsule but I’m definitely working on that. Since taking these capsules, I have noticed that my skin and hair have become more shiny and I’m less tired. I like that there are so many benefits in these small capsules. It’s a simple way to ensure my body is getting what it needs with little effort on my end which is perfect for my busy schedule. Highly recommend for the price and quality.

Stronger nails in a week!
After a couple weeks of taking this supplement, I can confirm that my nails are stronger! And, I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but I think I see some regrowth in my hairline! I don’t want to oversell it but it is important to note that I do some improvement after a week of taking it not very consistently. For effectiveness, I give it a pending 5 stars!It comes with 80 servings and the serving size is 3 pills. They are pretty big pills but they go down easy? Good swallow ability. There is no taste at all. In light of these things, I’d say pretty great value for the money! I imagine that if I stay really consistent and take them every day around the same time, I’ll see even better effects!The directions say to take with a meal and I have been very particular about that because I have a sensitive gut. Taking it with meals have caused no side effects!

Superior combination of ALA and other supplements for less money
As a regular user of Nutricost’s Alpha Lipoic Acid supplements, I was excited to check out this new product on Amazon.The first thing that caught my attention was the amount of Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), which was 1200mg. This is twice the amount of most other ALA supplements (including Nutricost).The second thing that stood out was the addition of four additional ingredients – all of which are valuable healthy aging supplements. These four additional ingredients are B1, Biotin, NAC and NAD. I especially like the addition of NAD, as it has helped me in the past with my energy levels.The third item that was a surprise, in that you get all of the above benefits for LESS money than what I was paying for just my Nurticost ALA supplement. Micro Ingredients is $24 for 240 capsules and Nutricost is $25 for 240 capsules. However, since you need to take 3 capsules daily of the Micro Ingredients, 240 capsules provides an 80 day supply while Nutricost requires 2 capsules daily for a 120 daily supply. If one doesn’t need the full 1200mg amount of ALA, they could take 2 capsules daily which would then last 120 days and still provide more than ALA than Nutricost (800mg vs 600mg). BTW, the capsules are normal size (see photo).The only slightly negative issue is that you have to take 3 capsules daily to get the full amount of the five ingredients. If they could have combined everything into one slightly larger capsule, I probably would have given this product 5 stars.
