This is as advertised. I did not pay attention to size, given in grams, not in the normal teaspoons or doses. But this container is small.

It works on IBS symptoms
I take one dose of this Metamusil every day, and it has helped control the periodic emergency “runs” I had been experiencing, probably from eating a big salad every day. But I do not want sugar in it, nor do I want artificial sweeteners, and it is VERY hard to find the unsweetened Metamucil. I cannot find it in any local drug stores, and it is even scarce on Amazon, and very expensive when I do find it. So it is a matter of paying more, for less. I will continue looking for a reliable source at a reasonable price. Or I may try simply taking pure ground psyllium husks with water. Metamucil also includes some maltodextrin, and I have not been able to find out if leaving that ingredient out would make a difference in how the product works.

Misrepresented item and overpriced!
Misrepresented item offered for sale. THIS item is a European version listed as 48 teaspoons compared to the US version which contains 114 teaspoons, yet it is offered at a higher price that the US larger version. The add, looks identical and does not clearly list the smaller size.

Smaller, tasteless, and more expensive
This product isn’t as good as the orange flavored container that is bigger. The price per gram is much more expensive with this container and it doesn’t taste good like the cheaper stuff does.It still works as intended.

i have been using Metamucil for years. I always get a flavored variety, and add a bit of orange juice for more flavor. this one has no sugar or any flavor,even adding juice does not help . I am glad I got a small container as it will be finished sooner. Main thinks is it works.

The goat of fibre
This is probably the best daily fibre supplement available. It mixes very well and taste like oranges. It is not chalky at all. There’s no aftertaste. It checks all the boxes. I’ve tried to use offbrand psyllium, and I’m always disappointed because it’s gritty or nasty or foul, but this brand has been the goat for a long time.
