Suggest by our homeopathic doctor for my 94 year old mother.
This is the new formula for Cognisure made by Metagenics. Originally, Cognisure was recommended by the homeopathic doctor we have been using for my 94 year old mother with dementia and aphasia. When we started her on it, the doctor showed me pictures of a brain with plaque, and another after the use of Cognisure after 30 days. The plaque had been significantly reduced. I had high hopes that this product would improve my mother’s condition so that we could see the improvement. I can’t personally say that this product has shown us negligible improvement, but even if it has reduced plaque in her brain, I didn’t really expect an immediate noticeable improvement. The brain cells that have been destroyed are gone. We can only hope to improve the condition of her brain so that it can start to produce new, healthy cells. If that happens, we have to re-teach her in much the same way that one would develop a child’s brain. I don’t expect this to be an easy task, nor will it happen overnight. I do know that if the tables were turned, she would do everything she could to help me. So I will do anything to bring back her quality of life for whatever time she has left.

TAKE HOURS AWAY from prescription medication
It seems to work. Just remember that vitamins and supplements have to be taken hours away from prescription medicine. If you do not do this, you run the chance of something not working. Either your medicine will not work or the vitamins/supplements will not work.Case in point. A friend of mine was taking medication for thyroid and iron supplements for anemia. She was taking all of this in one swallow. As soon as we starting taking the supplements AWAY from the medication, the doctor called to say that the thyroid medication needed to be lowered. So taking the vitamins with her medication actually made the thyroid medication less effective.Usually the 2 hour rule applies to iron but I think it can be applied to other supplements too. I did notice that it started to work better when I tried it this way.

Didn’t help memory but didn’t hinder sense of humor.
I have always trusted Metagenics as recommended by physicians and my own experience. Consequently I took a chance that Ceriva would help my memory. It hasn’t worked for me. The package was delivered on time and intact. Wait…WHAT package??
