These MegaRed Joint Care have really helped me
I have been under rheumatologists’ care for nearly twenty years for psoriatic arthritis and osteoarthritis in my knees and ankles due to war wounds. For the past several years, doctors have done SynVisc (or hyaluron) injections every six months or so to keep the pain under control and keep me functional. For complex reasons, I cannot have joint replacement surgery, so have to deal with the decline. I have used glucosamine / chondroitin supplements with little or no notable effect.About a year ago, I first tried MegaRed Joint Care and have found it very helpful. I have not had SynVisc or other injections since starting Joint Care, but my pain level has remained under control. I am still limited in walking and standing ability, but the difference has been amazing. Let me add that I’m very leary of anything that smacks of miracle cure for arthritis pain; so often pain relief just happens to coincide with the unpredictable flare / remission pattern of arthritis. But this difference has been significant and has continued for many months, even while my wife and I have done a lot of traveling.I recommend the product with the caveat that it may be very different for different people.UPDATE September 25, 2014: Now almost two years later I still find MegaRed Joint Care very helpful in controlling my pain level and keeping me functional. I still have not felt the need to resume SynVisc injections. So, I still think this is the good stuff.

I tried all the other OTC ‘joint’ products and none of them worked….

I could not be any more shocked and pleased that the pain is gone.I was having serious arthritis pain in my fingers and hip and I was taking too much Alieve to try to keep the pain down.I have tried every other OTC joint pain product with either no results or worse pain when using some.The pain in several of my fingers was to the point of bringing tears to my eyes and I was already taking the Mega Red Krill oil, and i saw the Joint Care and gave it a try.I took the Mega Red Joint Care and within a week my pain had eased dramatically, and after 2 weeks I was 99% pain free and have been for the last several months.I have recommended this to several friends who have had similar arthritis pain relief.I would recommend it anyone who isn’t allergic to shellfish. This works far far far more superior to glucosamine chondroiton by far!!!!!!! I’ve been taking it for a few yrs. I can move around much much better and easier with sooooo much more flexibility than ever since my fall down a flight of icy stairs 12 yrs ago. I have si joint, low,mid and upper back and neck injuries. I have hip and knee bursitis. I have trauma related caused fibromyalgia. And my legs sometimes hurt to my ankles. And all of my listed injuries hurt and have joint, tissue, nerve and disk damage. BUT! I can slowly climb a sm mtn, rearrange rocks in my creek, clean, cook, everything. NOW: I’m in a remote area and can only order this. I ran out so i thought I would try to duplicate the ingredients by buying the supplements myself. You CANT get the formula right going to the store and buying bottles of what’s listed as the ingredients on the bottle! In ONE WEEK WITHOUT IT: I was in more severe pain than I had been in since before I started taking this. The only way I could tell was THAT WAS THE ONLY THING ELIMINATED FROM MY REGIMIN AND I WAS WRITHING IN PAIN SO BAD ALL I COULD DO WAS GET UP AND WALK TO THE BATHROOM AND CRY GETTING UP AND WALKING THERE. I was bed ridden. We didn’t know what it was from so after a week is when I bought all those supplements that didn’t add up to duplicate the formula. After 3 weeks of misery we thought maybe we better order this joint care overnite shipment and see if that’s the problem. In ONE WEEK I WAS BACK TO ALMOST DOING EVERYTHING I WAS DOING BEFORE! Go figure! I DO TAKE gabapentin, ibuprofen,ultram,and the WONDERFUL FORMULA 303 NATURAL MUSCLE RELAXANT.I KNOW NOW WITHOUT THIS JOINT CARE, THE HIP BURSITIS HURT SO BAD ALONG WITH THE REST OF MY PAINS the rest of the meds didn’t even help me during this timeframe. If you try a bottle, remember everyone’s different and I can’t recall, but the first time I think it took me six weeks to REALIZE OH IM FEELING ALOT BETTER. Finally found it again!
So, apparently this product used to called something else and it had stopped being made, so quite a while back I switched to another brand that wasn’t quite as effective. I recently found this and realized that it was the same thing as what I used to take, just under a different name! Here is my original review since the ingredients are identical and it is just as effective for me as what had stopped being made:OK, so I’ve tried a lot of these types of supplements. They all have differing ingredients and effectiveness. I’ve tried two or three different ones from many manufacturers, each containing differing ingredients – collagen, glucosamine, chrondroiton, turmeric, tamarind, hyaluronic acid, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), krill oil, astaxanthin, etc.What I and my wife have found is that you have to find the one that works for you. This product, with Krill Oil, Hyaluronic Acid and Astaxanthin, is the only one that works for my shoulder pain. It does not, however, work for my wife’s hip pain. However, the one with Glucosamine, Chrondroiton, Hyaluronic Acid, and Calcium Fructoborate does work for her, but did not work for me! So my advice is to get one and try it for a week or two. If it does not help, try a different one with different ingredients, and you will hopefully, eventually find one that works for you like we did. We know that the right one works because not only is our joint pain is gone, but if we miss more than a day or two of taking it, our joint pain starts to return. Our hope is that taking a supplement like this is better/safer for our bodies in the long run, than taking a strong pain relief or anti-inflammatory pill every day, or getting cortisone injections (something else I’ve tried).

Have used this product for months. It seems to help. Very expensive and I purchase from Amazon when on sale. I’m trying over the counter to try and put off taking shots in my shoulder.
