It’s always hard to review supplements like this. Each person has their own qualifications for what makes a good supplement. First of all, this Eye Health blend has all the right ingredients. The Lutein, Bilberry, and Zeaxanthin are known for their ability to protect the retina, the optic nerves, and overall eye health. This formula has the correct amounts to do so. It needs a blend of the correct amount to be effective. These pills are medium sized, yet easy to swallow, as they are gel coated. I noticed no real odor or taste. This type of supplement must be used long term to be effective. I have enough confidence, that I will continue to purchase this particular brand and blend. I need to buy an all in one eye supplement, and this seems to be the one to keep ordering. Purchase also because it’s good value for money.

I’ve been taking Astaxanthin for eye health for several years. But 8 mg is on the lower end. I’ve seen competing brands offer up to 24 mg per softgel, though some brands offer 12 to 4 mg per softgel.Bilberry (a type of European blueberry) has been promoted as benefiting eye health for decades. A widely repeated story is that Bilberry jam improved night vision for RAF pilots during World War Two. But one researcher said that he interviewed over a dozen RAF pilots during the 2000s, and not one of them ate, or remembers any pilot eating, Bilberry jam. So Bilberry’s reputation might be rooted in an urban legend.The B vitamins included are all far less than what the typical B supplement offers. It’s nice that AILPOT added a bit of B, but if you need B vitamins, this alone is insufficient.Zinc at 10 mg per serving is also on the low end. Some supplements offer up to 50 mg, but that’s pushing it.As for the Selenium, 200 mcg is what most Selenium supplements offer. It’s widely regarded as an appropriate daily dose.So AILPOT is generous with the core eye supplements, a bit stingy on the Zinc and Selenium, and very stingy on the B. However, if you’re seeking an eye supplement, AILPOT is very good.Absorption is always an issue with supplements. Tablets contain binders that can hinder absorption, so generally, capsules, softgels, and tinctures are better than tablets. AILPOT comes in softgels, which is good.

These Eye Health Supplements by AILPOT seem to be well made and have a lot of the critical ingredients that you find in most eye supplement capsules. They are in a gel-type capsule that is a reddish brown and they are made in New Zealand. The top ingredients in this supplement are: Bilberry extract, lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin, vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, zinc, and selenium. The recommended daily serving size is two per day and you can see the amounts per serving in the pictures that I have attached. As with any supplement everyone reacts differently and some may see more benefit than others because there’s a lot tied to eye health. Your diet and genetics affect your eye health more than anything else, so you have to take that into consideration. This supplement will help aid your ability for better eye health but it isn’t a miracle cure. I do recommend it based on the quality and the fact that they are made in a reputable country.

I’ve been taking these for about a month now. They are about twice as large as my vitamin D gelcaps, so they’re significant in size. The gel caps are very smooth. If you have trouble swallowing pills, you may want to take with liquid, to ease swallowing.The bag says to take them with/after food, so that’s what I’ve been doing. I have not had one iota of stomach upset. These are supposed to contain a red pigment (the same one in salmon) from micro algae (that the salmon would eat) that is supposed to be a very good antioxidant. The caps are definitely a deep red color that seems legit. And this model has lutein for eye health, and a lot of other good stuff (beta carotine, b6, b12, copper, zinc…)I’m not sure I can tell whether this is doing anything for me. It’s definitely not hurting anything though. I’ve taken this want supplement from other brands before, and those caps were bigger, so the small size is a benefit if that’s important to you. Read the ingredients before ordering, these contain soy, gelatin, glycerine, lecithin, bilberry and water.Recommended, would order again

The softgels are small and very easy to swallow.I only take one capsule daily, so this gives me a 90 day/3 month supply.There are certifications, which look good, but I can’t speak to those since I’m not totally familiar with their details:- RMP (risk management program)- HACCP (food & safety certification)- GMP (good manufacturing practice)As an eye supplement, the ingredients look good.Made in New Zealand. There is a label that states “superior quality” with a red/white/blue icon, however this is not an indication that it is made in the USA.Overall, I have had no issues taking the supplement.There is no unusual odor, no stomach upset, no defective capsules and the expiration date is 3 years from now.Haven’t noticed any changes with my vision, but I’m uncertain what to expect. I am in my 60’s and have been diagnosed with dry eye and so far things are unchanged. I’ve only been taking them a few weeks so time will tell.

When I saw this AILPOT Eye Health supplement available I figured I’d give it a try. It’s a solid lutein, zeaxanthin and bilberry formula aimed at supporting everyday eye health. There are a few other ingredients in there at lower amounts that don’t hurt anything but clearly aren’t the main focus.The bottle itself is well sealed and easy to open and close, but it’s on the large side for only 90 softgels. They only fill about half the bottle, which feels a little wasteful. Suggested dose is two softgels a day, so you’re looking at a 45-day supply. I would have preferred a 60-day bottle given all the empty space.The softgels are small, have no taste, and go down easy. I haven’t noticed any negative side effects. At the same time I can’t say I’ve seen any clear difference yet either, though I know these things can take a while.I like that it’s made in New Zealand and marked GMP compliant. There is batch information on the bottom of the bottle, but I couldn’t find any third-party testing results, which is something I prefer.Overall it’s a decent product with good amounts of the main ingredients and a fair price for a 45-day supply. I’d rate it a solid 4 stars. A longer supply and some published lab testing would have pushed it higher for me.

The bottle proudly attributes its manufacturing to Unipharm Healthy Manufacturing Co. in Auckland, New Zealand, which normally adds a comforting layer of accountability. I personally had some red flags emerge when attempting to verify the product’s supply chain. Direct inquiries to the listed New Zealand manufacturer regarding this product have gone completely unanswered. The seller’s business is on the newer side, and is listed in Hong Kong. This AILPOT brand has no official company website, and operates exclusively through an Amazon storefront. I am finding it very difficult to confirm if the label claims are genuine or if the facility even makes this product. When it comes to ingestible health products, unverified manufacturing means you cannot guarantee ingredient purity, accurate dosages, or safety from contaminants. Given the lack of corporate transparency and communication from the supply chain, the safety risks outweigh the benefits for me personally. I will stick to a brand with more transparency and presence in the supplement community.
