bought this after doing a lot of label comparisons. Most products I found were either plain astaxanthin or a basic lutein/zeaxanthin blend so this one stood out immediately: 12mg natural astaxanthin from microalgae, the 10mg/2mg lutein-to-zeaxanthin ratio, natural vitamin E, MCT oil, and sunflower phospholipids all in one softgel. It feels like a thoughtfully designed formula.I also appreciate the practical details: one small softgel per day, no soy or dairy, non-GMO, third-party tested, and made in a GMP-certified facility in the USA. Since these are fat-soluble ingredients the MCT/phospholipid base makes a lot more sense to me than a dry capsule.My only criticism is the bottle size. Just started taking this for antioxidant, skin, and eye support, so it’s early days. First thing I liked, it’s a 5-in-1 in one softgel. No more juggling three or four bottles.Astaxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin E, sunflower phospholipids, all crammed into one capsule. Each one works on slightly different tissue, so in theory the effects stack instead of overlapping.All three antioxidants are fat-soluble, so the MCT oil and phospholipids in here are there to help them actually absorb instead of just passing through.Only thing I don’t love is the smell. Strong lemon scent. I’d rather have that than a fishy one though.60 softgels, one a day, so it’s a two month supply instead of the usual one. For the price that’s a decent value.What I liked:- 12 mg astaxanthin, 10 mg lutein, 2 mg zeaxanthin. No proprietary blend hiding the numbers- Doses are in a range that’s actually got research behind it for skin and eye support- No magnesium stearate or silica in it.
