QualiLife Liver Detox and Cleanse gummies are not overly sweet, and they do not list any sugar or sugar substitutes on the label. I love that it contains Milk Thistle and Dandelion Root which have been used for centuries for liver support. There is actually 23 different herbals in this formulation according to the package, which lists an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory blend, digestive and metabolic support blend, bile secretion support blend, a natural diuretic blend, and liver cleanse blend.The serving size is 2 gummies daily, so this will last one month. I like to take them after I finish supper for a little taste of sweet after my meal and taking them after I eat also helps prevent tummy upset. I find they are pleasantly fruity with no funny aftertaste and they are easy to chew. I feel a little less bloated since I started taking these, so I am seeing a positive result. Be aware that they are shaped just like gummy bears candy, so you will want to keep them out of reach of children.

I have to admit most herbal remedies for liver taste terrible. I think the herbs in general used for that process are just a little weedy/skunky tasting. (I tried a liver cleanse tea once- yuk!) However, I am becoming more and more a fan of gummy supplements. Mostly because I remember to take them, and don’t get the ick thinking about taking them.These taste like gummy bears, though I will admit this one has a little “plant” taste, over some other types of vitamin gummies that taste like straight up candy. BUT, it’s barely there. Like hardly noticeable. I only mention it to be thorough.I like the natural ingredients included, and they are indeed age old herbal remedies for liver…especially milk thistle and dandelion. Do I think there is a ton of those ingredients in the gummies? Probably no, but I understand they are made with high potency extracts, which does give a bigger effect from taking a smaller amount.They’re easy to chew and swallow, taste pretty good, and generally do what it says on the label in my experience with them. Of course with herbal things, sometimes you have to take them a while to see the full effect. So we shall see in time.
