These Ester-C Liposomal capsules allow one to absorb much higher amounts of vitamin C than ordinary ascorbic acid vitamin C. The capsules are small and easy to swallow with one capsule providing 1000 mg total vitamin C. Higher levels of C are desirable when one needs to detoxify or wishes to raise their C levels to fight an illness. A good strategy to consider might be to use these capsules periodically but also maintain a daily core supplement of naturally sourced C such as rose hips or acerola. Many in the health community believe a natural form is better utilized, but to raise levels to a Linus Pauling suggested level, one is best off with a liposomal product. I noticed no downside or stomach irritation when using these capsules. They are very good to have on hand.

I like that this form of vitamin c has improved absorption. It’s easy to take. One capsule is the recommended serving size for adults and it should be taken in between meals for best results. The expiration date on my bottle is in April, 2026.

Bioavailability!
This is a liposomal form of a highly bioavailable ester-c version of vitamin C. As opposed to regular vitamin C, Ester-C is clinically proven to be more quickly absorbed and longer lasting in white blood cells, and liposomal encapsulation has been shown to improve bioavailability and reduce the amount that is destroyed in the early phases of digestion. You could get regular vitamin C very cheaply, but if you’re not absorbing it, what’s the point? I’m very happy with this!

I really didn’t know much about Ester C prior to ordering this. I assumed that Vitamin C was just that. Turns out, I was wrong. This stuff is more easily absorbed by your white blood cells meaning less waste and a more effective immune system response. Of course, I cannot verify this, but this VC makes me feel good. Further, and I can verify this, because it is a water based VC, it doesn’t have nearly the same acidity, that a traditional C has. As someone that suffers from lifelong continuous acid reflux, I can verify 100% that this stuff doesn’t bother me at all. I am very pleased with this supplement. Kala is a company from the Netherlands that takes pride in high end supplements. I recommend.
