I was attracted to this by the lack of soy and all American manufacture. At first, it also seemed less expensive, but when you sit down and do the math, it is actually more expensive per gram dose than Lypospheric packets (about 20% more).It is more liquid (runnier) than the Lypospheric packeted goop, and the taste is definitely worse. I’m not sure how to describe it (I described the Lypospheric as tasting like orange flavored motor oil), but it a long way from pleasant, and I found it much harder to take than the Lypospheric.I have not used it long,so cannot say if it is more or less effective than the Lypospheric, but given that you must take nearly five times as much for the same dosage levels, I can’t consider it anything but less effective.Of course, if soy is a problem, then you are left with either this or making your own (which I plan on doing), in which case you can get the best of all possible worlds – less cost, no soy, and U.S. ingredients.Whatever you choose, I highly recommend that you serious look into taking very large doses of Vitamin C, as it has fantastic properties in high doses which could radically improve many medical problems, especially toxic problems and infectious disease.

It works, it really works; but the taste is as bad as everyone has commented.
The Good: This works, I mean it really works! I have a list of issues (primarily HIT) and experience extreme fatigue (my brain will “shut down” with my eyes open as if asleep and I’ll tip over), so when I say I have health issues, I do. I eat a primarily Paleo diet and live a pretty healthy lifestyle so without that, I’d be way worse off. I have so many food allergies (including certain fruits and vegetables) it’s easier to list what I can eat than what I can’t; point being, while taking this for a week, there are certain foods I can tolerate more so than before. Any pro listed (I didn’t read every review) is probably accurate, I cannot recommend this enough (do your research on the kinds of vitamin c). Additionally, and most importantly, my fatigue level isn’t near as severe as it was a week ago. Unless you experience this you don’t quite understand the toll this can take on you, more often than not I’m completely useless and can’t even understand my own emails I typed a few minutes prior b/c apparently my brain and fingers didn’t want to communicate…The Bad: I cannot express how awful this tastes. I’m of the mindset “I don’t care what it smells/looks/tastes like, if it’s good for you, suck it up”. I can’t, I mean I just can’t. I have tried to mask this with different kinds and amounts of juices and that taste punches through and coats your tongue. No amount of water chugging, nose plugging, juice diluting will diminish the taste (unless someone has a recommendation????). I won’t tell you what I think it tastes like b/c my comparison might make you sick. I’ll (try to) finish this supply and find something else. The only reason I’m harping on this is b/c people that complain about silly things like taste or smell don’t see the higher value; well, in this case, I agree with them all. I won’t rate this less than 5 stars b/c of the quality and efficacy of the produce, but for me, I finally found something in 45 years I just cannot stomach, no matter the benefit.Your taste buds may not pick up what mine pick up, so you owe it to yourself to at least try it, but really, the taste is just as bad as everyone says (well, for those of us that can taste the worst part of it).And with so many fake reviews, know that I paid for this and I’ve tried it daily for a week. If it wasn’t efficacious, I wouldn’t say it is.

It’s Helped
My integrative lung dr first recommended I take liposomal Vit C to boost my immune system, due to a host of problems I’ve developed because of autoimmune problems. I decided to buy this product because it was not made from soy. In the meantime, my integrative internist recommended a different liposomal Vit C product. However, it was very salty, and I needed to stop taking it, due to bladder concerns. When I first tried the LipoNaturals, I only took 1/3 of the dose, and that gave me a hersheimer’s reaction, so I know it does help detox you. I took the full dose the next day, and everything was fine. I have not had CEBV symptoms since taking the LipoNaturals product, and I am currently using it in a protocol to detox mold from my body. The taste is not so great…it’s soury and bitter, and makes your mouth pucker when you hold it in your mouth. I take the product straight, so it’s not that bad-tasting to me. I highly recommend this product.

A wow for common illness also
Yes, the taste is awful period. This means this is really very good product. Using pom or cranberry mixed with grated fresh ginger as chaser and mix in with the Tbsp dose. I bought this to have on had for my family for cold, flu and perhaps greater health threats that might occur. A week after receiving I came down with horrible sore throat, swollen glands in throat – hard to swallow…this would normally have sent me to dr. to have a strep swap in case it was bacterial. BUT…I thought let’s see how this Vit C formulation does…took 1st dose in am of 2 tsps…that was all I was going to get down…have strong gag reflex. Took it before breakfast…..soreness and most swelling gone by bed time…next day 2 tsp more…by noon no sign of sore throat….keeping this for flu season and occasionally immune system boost. Energy boost impressive also. Thank you folks, great result.2 wks later – figured out how to get this down. Pomegranate juice with some grated fresh ginger..very cold…mix a little with the 1 Tbls Vit C, hold nose…drink, follow with the juice mix. Took recommended dose for three days. No adverse reactions but people are beginning to ask me what I did to my skin….took about 10 years off of aging effects. Sleep still amazing and energy level sustained since first three days of use 2 wks ago. Great to have an immediate cure for any future flu or illness on hand.5 months later. The one pouch has been my one-two punch for sore throat, and cold. No flu until this past week-end…typical norovirus…massive diarrhea…Took single dose as soon as it started…stopped symptoms in a matter of hours, second dose next day, no vomitting throughout. Back to regular schedule with a little fatigue next day. Did take bentonite clay water sipping off and on for two days also. Here on day three a bit wonky tummy, took another single dose…better already 30 min later. Just ordered more, the two pouch qty is good price. Thank you LipoNaturals.

This is a fantastic product that really doesn’t taste bad at all. One tablespoon in a small amount of apple juice…down in a couple gulps. Gives quite a bit of energy and mood elevator. I have COPD and this has benefited my ability to breathe and no complaints at all about the extra energy I feel. No side effects or stomach upsets noted. I will definitely continue to take this daily and hopefully my need for oxygen use will decline as I continue to get better. Knowing I am somewhat protected daily against germs and viruses as I venture out into the public daily gives me a great sigh of relief. My husband takes it daily also and feels the difference in his energy also. I love the fact that it has NO SOY…..Sunflower Lecthin is the best choice…..Soy is damaging to your thyroid and immune system. Wish it was less pricey!!! Much better than powdered pills. Powder isn’t all that great to accomplish your goal in stopping a disease. This is as close to IV Vitamin C as possible.

Update 12/27/19While I still get a herx to a degree, this absolutely works to ward off illness. My husband was getting a bad cold, and he was able to turn it around with two doses a day plus a zinc pill. This stuff is great. Just make sure you can tolerate C and sunflowers.Update:I tried this again at a lower dose. I took it when I was sick on vacation. Combined with rest, I absolutely think this is warding off further symptoms from what felt like a stomach bug/flu. Tweak the dose to your needs- I need a little less.I will definitely keep taking this. I brought some on our trip in a little plastic bag. Kept it in a cooler in the car, and was able to get it into a fridge.So. I will hopefully remember to update. This gave me a major herx. Panic attacks, nausea, ear buzzing/rushing, exhaustion. Once I ceased taking it, it has slowly gotten better. Idk why or How vitamin c caused such a reaction. Has anyone else has this?

Beyond words
After exhaustive research, there remains no doubt that Vitamin C IS THE building block upon which all others stem and develop. This is the finest product I have found to date that has the intrinsic ability to reach the blood-brain barrier and to actually provide these particular nutrients to the human body. As humans are only one of the four mammals that cannot produce their own ascorbic acid (aka Vitamin C), this formula and format IS the true means of passing through the digestive system and making into the blood and therefore, into the brain and other organs to do what humans need most. Humans should produce, from their liver, around 25,000 mg of ascorbic acid each normal day, up to ten times higher on stress-days…and humans do not. A couple thousand milligrams is not enough to combat colds and the flu, so I take my own protocol, which includes this very product as the cornerstone of all my supplements, and take up to 5,000 mg per day, and with a myriad of other Vitamin C sources, probably around 10,000 mg each day. My skin has reduced back to better than it was 20 years ago, my mood is balanced, and my body is responding in ways that would be to difficult to fully capture in this review. Ignore this at your own peril. Do the research: colds, flu, even cancer and a host of other illnesses cannot invade what could be an extremely healthy human body. I regard this product, it’s format and formula, as the base means of reverse aging. I cannot speak as to the results others might find or no find, but I can testify that this has, after 6 months, quite changed my life, and continues. And lastly, consider how your liver and kidneys can benefit by the over-load of ascorbic acid that lingers in each organ on it’s way to be expelled as this product floods your entire system.

I have been using this product for almost two months based on my MD’s recommendation.
