LifeSeasons Essentials Methyl Folate Quick Melts Methyl folate, also known as 5-MTHF, is the active form of folate that is essential for many normal biological functions in the body. Unlike synthetic folic acid, methyl folate is already in its usable form, allowing the body to efficiently utilize it as part of everyday metabolic processes. LifeSeasons Essentials Methyl Folate Quick Melts provide 1,660 mcg DFE of folate per tablet to support methylation cycle function, which plays a role in DNA synthesis, cell division, neurotransmitter production, and gene expression.* These processes are important for nervous system function, cardiovascular support, and overall cellular health.* Designed for convenience, these quick-melt tablets dissolve rapidly in the mouth and feature a refreshing natural lemon flavor—no water required. This makes them ideal for those who prefer an easy-to-take alternative to capsules or tablets. Formulated with clean, carefully selected ingredients, LifeSeasons Essentials Methyl Folate Quick Melts are vegetarian, gluten-free, and manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. Dissolves super quick
I have several other supplements from LifeSeasons, so I was excited to try another of their brand. These were quick melts and after trying one, it really did melt quite fast. They were really easy to take and not very big either. The flavor was pretty good, but I am a fan of lemon. The ingredient list was super simple, just Folate, with the rest of the ingredients being there to add flavor and make the pill it’s shape. The instructions says to take 1 daily and the bottle ocmes with 60, so that’s a good 2 month supply. It was really nice to have an alternative to swallowing pills all the time and something that tasted good at it. Taking them, I noticed no side effects or issues in swallowing or dissolving them, nor any negative after effects in my body.

Easy melts
I really like the quick melt format since it dissolves easily and doesn’t require swallowing another capsule. The light lemon flavor is pleasant, making it simple to take every day.The ingredient list is clean, and I appreciate that it uses methyl folate (5-MTHF) instead of standard folic acid. Everything arrived fresh, well sealed, and exactly as described.Overall, this is a quality product with a convenient delivery method and good value. I’d happily purchase it again.

Methyl folate melts
I took this at the tail end of winter and did notice a small improvement in energy and mental cognition, I was a lot more happy overall with this. Once spring came around Is topped taking them and still have half the bottle and switched over to D3 but I’ll probably take this again come winter as I do think it helped. Real easy to take, I just pop one into my mouth and let it melt. Flavor is eh. But lifeseasons always has good quality stuff and the melts seem to be more quickly absorbed so I get much better results than just pills. Overall worth it.

Pleasant tasting Methyl Folate Tablets
I’ve been looking for an easier way to get active folate into my daily routine without adding another giant pill to my morning stack, so I decided to try this quick melt tablets. The lemon flavor is pleasantly light and crisp—not overly sweet or medicinal. They dissolve quickly on the tongue without leaving a chalky residue behind. Since these use L-methylfolate (5-MTHF) rather than synthetic folic acid, I don’t have to worry about body absorption issues. The 60-count bottle gives a solid two-month supply, making it easy to stay consistent. Taking one daily feels like a simple, hassle-free step for cellular health and energy support. If you’re sensitive to swallowing tablets or just want a bioavailable folate supplement that actually tastes good, I highly recommend giving these a try.

Take you vitamins!!
First of all, we are already fans of the LifeSeasons vitamin brand. We have many different supplements from LifeSeasons and they are consistently high quality supplements. The quick melts were a new addition to our supplement cabinet and the brought the same quality we have come to expect. The quick melt experience is your typical quick melt. It melts in your mouth in about 20 seconds. The flavor is OK, not great, but definitely not terrible. For Methyl Folate, it’s nice to feel like it’s in your system quickly.Very happy with these quick melt tablets from LifeSeasons.

Convenient Delivery, but the Sweetener Is Quite Strong
I integrated the LifeSeasons Essentials Methyl Folate Quick Melts m into my morning routine to add a targeted folate supplement to my diet. The functional concept of a quick-melt tablet is incredibly convenient; it dissolves smoothly on the tongue within seconds, meaning I can completely skip swallowing large capsules or mixing chalky powders with water. I really appreciate the high-quality form of folate provided. The downside for me is the taste profile. While the natural lemon flavor is nice and bright, the inclusion of stevia leaf extract makes the sweetness incredibly intense and leaves a lingering aftertaste that sticks around for quite a while. Given that a supplement requires daily consistency rather than immediate physical adjustments, pushing through that sharp sweetness every morning takes a bit of effort. It offers good value with 60 servings, but you definitely have to tolerate strong artificial sweetness.

Nice but no third party testing.
Have to say that these are quite nice in comparison to some of the alternative options. First of all I quite like the size of these melts. They melt quite quickly and the lemon flavor is very pleasant. One gets 60 in a bottle which I think is a nice size for the price point. I experienced absolutely no upset stomach. These don’t have odd ingredients and I appreciate that these are sweetened with stevia instead of some of the other unnatural sweeteners that are available. Keep in mind that this does have Mannitol in it which can for some people cause some stomach upset, for me it was fine. Overall I really do like these, whether they work or not for their intended purpose is a whole other thing because it does take a while to be able to determine that and I would probably need to use multiple bottles over the course of multiple months to be able to tell. But thus far my experience with these has been pleasant. My only concern is that there is no commentary directly on the bottle about third-party testing and therefore I do think they need to improve that aspect and I must remove a star for that reason. Otherwise I do think this is a solid product with a reasonable value.

Good form of folate, but I still wish the formula were cleaner
I do appreciate that this uses methyl folate (5-MTHF) rather than synthetic folic acid, especially for people with MTHFR variants or those specifically seeking the more bioavailable form of folate. That’s genuinely a meaningful formulation choice and one of the product’s strongest positives. The quick melt format is easy to take and dissolves fairly quickly with a mild lemon flavor. For people who dislike capsules or struggle swallowing pills, I can absolutely see the convenience appeal. That said, similar to several other quick melts from this brand, I’m less enthusiastic about all the added flavoring and filler ingredients that come along with the format. Personally, I’d rather see a cleaner capsule version with fewer unnecessary additives. The active ingredient quality itself seems solid — it’s really the delivery system ingredients I’m more critical of.ProsUses methyl folate (5-MTHF) instead of folic acidHelpful option for people with MTHFR concernsEasy dissolvable formatPleasant flavorConvenient for travel or people who dislike pillsConsContains unnecessary fillers and flavoring ingredientsMore processed feeling than simple capsule formulasQuick melts increase the cost somewhatOverall Value AssessmentThe form of folate itself is excellent and thoughtfully chosen. I just personally wish the surrounding ingredient list were cleaner and more minimalist.
